Installing vintage chandelier and dimmer switches

Excellent service, from booking the call, to the electrician Muhammad calling me back to give me a 2-hour window and then a call 1/2 hr in advance to the installation of the chandelier and dimmers. The chandelier was missing some parts and Muhammad was extremely patient and understanding while I tracked the part down, working on the prep wiring and the dimmers. He figured out how to do the chandelier without making any holes in the ceiling and putting it also on an existing dimmer switch, thereby keeping the price of the whole job down. I am 100 per cent satisfied with the quality of this service and would highly recommend him to others looking for help with electrical needs.

    Electrical Panel Replacement

I recently bought a new home and found there were some challenges from an electrical standpoint. We could see some shortcuts taken by the previous electrician. Muhammad did a great job coordinating with alectra and getting the work completed. He advised me along the way what he was doing and why he was doing it so there were not any financial surprises when he was done. He cleaned up all the old wiring that went nowhere and didn’t nickel and dime me. Muhammad tells you when he will be at your home with a short window for arrival and he is punctual. If I had questions afterwards he responded to my calls and text messages quickly. I will call Muhammad in the future for my electrical needs.

    Fast Work on Emergency Repair

A very large tree fell down on our street, taking out some power lines with it. The connection to my house was ripped out, along with some bricks and the hydro company shut my power off as a safety precaution. SES had a person on site, repaired the connection, had ESA certification, and the power back on in less than 12 hours -on a Sunday, no less. I thought I would be dealing with this for days. I made one call and they took care of the rest. Thank you Muhammad!

    Electrical contactor installation

There was a loud humming sound coming from the electrical room. The company charged 100$ service call to come to diagnose the problem. A person called Mohammed showed up , then whipped out a book and said that it would be 387$ to diagnose the problem. As it was essential to know what the problem was , I agreed to it. It took him about 10 mts to see that it was a breaker switch that needed to be changed. He said that he has to get that particular part and come back to finish the job. His charge to then come back and finish the job - 100& for service call and an additional 250$ to finish the job. That would bring it to a grand total of approximately 800$ to change a breaker switch. Call this company only if you are willing to be ripped off ! Edit: The company assumes that it has the facts about everything : 1. That the electrical work has been performed by non qualified people. 2. That no permit was taken by the electrical contractor for the home or the owners in a bid to save money. 3. It has completely overlooked the fact that a new home cannot be sold unless the building is up to code on all fronts including electrical. Which is why we have building inspectors in the City of Toronto. Unless the company assumes that they are also unqualified . Nevertheless Mohammed called and offered to finish the job at no extra cost, if the part was bought by the home owner. I accepted his offer and Mohammed has completed the job satisfactorily, in a timely manner and at no extra cost. What is noteworthy about the company is that it cares about its reputation. There are not many companies who do so , and who are willing to go the extra mile to counter a bad customer experience. A company that does so has the potential for future growth. . Going forward, I wish them all the very best.

Hi Mrs. Koshi it is really surprising to see such a language. We wish you should have courage to tell the truth instead of using saying such words. We believe in fair business with top notch service but looks like you used to hire non- qualified people. Their was clear evidences of code violence of electrical work done by unprofessional people. Which is prone to potential fire hazards. We have evidence available. Here are some questions for you to answer and let the people decide who is right and who is wrong. 1- Did you call for same day after hours asking for our emergency service? 2- Were you were informed about the dispatch fee $100 as a regular charge upfront before coming to your house around 8 pm same day? 3. Were you informed about the diagnosis charge upfront before the work started as a flat rate regardless of timing ? 4- What was the diagnostic report? Were you informed about the code violation and potential fire hazard and faulty main lighting control panel, which controls complete lighting system in your house that was making a Loud noise which is not a "simple breaker" which you mentioned in your review no breakers make load sound . 5- Did you pay $387 for diagnostic charge or $287 ? Did we give you a $100 discount without you having to ask? 6- Were informed about the follow up of special part for replacement and you were agreed but you called back next day to cancellation of further work? Did you pay extra for parts arrangement on the follow up? 7- The work that you had previously done was required an ESA permit, did you or your electrician applied for an ESA permit that did the unsafe illegal work? The truth is no permit was taken, by you or your electrician, which is illegal, which leads to non code compliance work where you tried to save some money. Our electricians are very skilled and especially Muhammad as he is a Master Electrician with over 28 years of experience. He diagnosed the problem in a timely matter because he is skilled. Muhammad also told you what needed to be done in a very quick matter on a emergency call. This imperfect information is misleading and disrespectful towards our staff and company.

    Electrical work inside our home

We had a short circuit at our electrical box on May 26. It was a terrible time for it as we were in the midst of a heatwave, with no power in our home, and of course, no air condition. We have three young children too. I called up Muhammad (Safe Electrical Solutions) at 7pm and he was at our house by 8pm. It did not take him long to figure out what the problem was. We had changed out our old electric water heater in 2018 for a new gas heater and it turns out that the installer did not properly cap that electrical line nor did he disconnect it from my electrical box / panel. So when I thought my AC had tripped a breaker and I saw there was one switch off, I assumed that switch was for the AC when in fact it was for the old electric water heater. By turning it on, I shorted out whole box!!! Muhammad was great. He showed me what the problem was, and how that improperly capped line was a fire hazard. Then he disconnected the line at the electrical box side so that it would no longer be an issue whatsoever. He got our power back on very quickly. Overall, my experience with Muhammad was terrific. He is a kind, soft spoken gentleman that knows all there is to know about electrical work. He is highly skilled and qualified to handle any job and I would recommend him to any person who is in need of a skilled electrician. Thank you Muhammad!

    Thorough, professonal, no surprise

Power went out in half the house. Muhammad came quickly and presented his credentials and costs before starting. The panel box was defective. He told me the cost upfront to replace the box with a bigger box and add 7 new breakers so that every line had its own breaker as per code. He was professional, courteous, and didn't leave until the job was done right even though it took longer than expected. You definitely want the job to be done right when dealing with electricity. Did he do a great job - absolutely. Was he the cheapest guy - no. But would you want the cheapest brain surgeon to operate on you?

Working out side in bad weather, replacement of 400 amp service panels it was great team work. Replacement of 110amp panel with 200amp panel

Our panel tripped in the middle of the night. We called SES first thing in the morning and they were there in 1 hour. The issue was a faulty main breaker but the real problem was that the panel was not big enough for the house. He recommended we replace the 100amp panel with 200amp service. They handled all the permit work with the utility company and scheduled the appointment for the next week. We had to wait 6 days but that was due to the utility company not being available until then. His work was clean and he and his apprentice were very nice to deal with, explaining things to me as they went. We now have a safe and beautiful panel (as beautiful as an electrical panel can be). Thanks SES for a great job
