    New Roof

    From start to finish, Alex and his Excel team provided us with superior service. The quality of materials, the installation process and the registered 50-year warranty are key to my satisfaction, but my confidence in the job getting done properly increased as I watched the guys work over the two days in September. Everyone was very professional, friendly and courteous. And when they left, there was no damage to the property and everything was nice and clean. The roof looks great! If you are having trouble trying to choose from 400+ roofers in the Ottawa area, I highly recommend Excel.

    Great job

    Excel did a great re-roofing job. Initially Alex came promptly to look at the roof. He gave us alternatives/solutions to some problems that needed attention and they worked out well. The installation – Cain and his crew deserve high marks for their work. They arrived early each morning and cleaned up the site before leaving each night. The bin was removed on the last day. Even my neighbours commented profusely on how well the crew worked. They said that even they would recommend Excel. All said, we made a great choice. The new roof looks great!

    Superb!!!

    My roof experience started in the best possible way when I got a call back from Alex to meet up for the initial inspection and quotation. Alex had the patience to explain the work to be done and provided a very competitive quote. It was great to actually meet the person in charge of the project and not just getting an e-mail or call to deal with it. Alex will visit to get the job done properly! The crew that came to work on the roof was very professional and focused on their responsibilities. I was impressed on the efficiency and definitely happy with how they completed the work. Amazing experience with Excel!!!

    New roof

    Alex was very friendly and helpful when giving the quote and gave us the Home Show discount. We needed to do some painting first and worked aound our schedule. On the day the roofers we super efficient and tidied up afterwards.

    Roofing

    Excel did our roof a few years back. They got the job done quickly and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. The supervisor came by and personally did a a visual sweep looking for roofing nails.

    Replace Roof

    In May 2018, Excel Roofing re-did our roof. Being impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the Excel Crew - I was prompted to write a review (something I had never done before). In February of 2019 - Alex answered a call place to Excel regarding water dripping down from inside a vent the company had installed. Alex was on Vacation (outside of the Country) when he took this call. I assured him that this was above and beyond service expectations and that the problem could wait till his vacation was over. Alex attended my home a week later to address the problem. Today, (May 27th, 2019) I was having some warrantly work done on my gutter and leaf filter installed in the fall of 2018. The contractor, who is also a "roofer" spent and inordinate amount of time looking over (inspecting?) my roof - and asked for the name of the contractor who did my shingling. He advised me that the contractor did not take any short cuts and that - most importantly it was done according to the Shingle Company's exacting specifications. He was confident that the roof will last a long time. It was quite reassuring to get this unsolicited "Professional" affirmation of having paid for a service for a "Job Well Done"... Hence this followup review.

    Quality, on time and on price!

    Alex know's his stuff and provided excellent advice on the installation most appropriate for our roof replacement. He is courteous, professional and accurate in his estimates. We were able to schedule the work at a time that worked for us, and the team were outstanding. The result of this work is super. The team were very thorough in their clean up post installation. The estimated time to complete was spot on. Couldn't be happier with Excel Building and Roofing's work. Thank you!

    Roofing Job Well Done

    We had our roof re-shingled by Excel Building & Roofing recently and things went very well! Having installed roofs previously myself, I was very particular about the work to be done. The crew was in and out in a day as promised and the job was well done. The crew took great pride in their work leaving me very confident in the outcome! I have recommended Excel to others already!
