    windows isntallation

Alexy, the seller, came on time and explained the windows that I had bought over the phone with them. I decided to upgrade to a better window because it was only a couple hundred more. He was very thorough with his explanations and answered all my questions. The windows took about a month to arrive. During the wait period, I had called to inquire on their status and was contacted without any problems with an update. Windowrama was also able to accommodate the installation to my schedule. They were booked fully for awhile and couldn't install the windows for another three weeks from when they arrived but I told them I was going to be leaving the country for a couple of months and that wouldn't do. They were able to find sometime the following week to install them for me.Though I was initially unhappy that they couldn't schedule an installation for almost a month from the windows being delivered (which is kinda crazy since I had already waited a month for them to be made) I was very grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. Though I didn't need that extra couple hours of stress while I waited to hear back. All in all the installation went smoothly. The windows look great and I am happy with the product I bought. Recommended.

    Window Repairs

The technician from WindowRama arrived on time and set to work immediately. It took him a few hours to complete the job, and he cleaned up after himself. Our windows had been leaking badly, and were often full of condensation. A couple of them had cracked glass. After all of the glass was replaced, we were very satisfied with the great improvement in the appearance of the windows as well their more efficient control of the inside temperature. Paul, the owner, was kind enough to give us a discount for being referred by our realtor.

    windows, and patio door

This is the second time using Windowrama. We thought we needed a lot of our windows replaced. We called Windowrama to come out and inspect our windows. The owner Paul came out and after looking the house over, recommended 3 window be replaced due to wood rot, and the patio door be replaced due to age/frame damage. He said the rest of the windows were in good shape and just needed to be painted/sealed to preserve them and make them last longer. It was nice to have Paul educate us instead of blindly selling us windows that weren't needed. Installation was great and took about a day and a half. They cleaned up and aside from the new patio door and windows, we never knew they were here.

    Sunroom

After extensive research, estimates, and interviews my wife and I selected Paul to install 8 new windows on the back of our home. We have a large picture window in the sun room that consists of 7 windows with the top window being a large dome surrounded by crown molding. The window opening encompasses more than 2/3rds of the wall and is the focal point for the view of the backyard. It was extremely important to us to maintain the architecture of our home. Paul proposed a solution that not only accomplished both key goals, but allowed us to use the same custom wood blinds we had previously . Replacement of this large of a unit was difficult for multiple reasons. First actual removal of such a large window poses a risk of injury due to its weight, instability of old frame, and location. Removing such a large, heavy, window where the the ground is uneven while standing on a ladder is concerning, especially when the top glass is approximately 12-14 feet up from ground level. The windows replaced in the second area was in our dining room and consisted of 3 individual windows that also look upon the lake. Instead of replacing the 3 individual windows it was decided that 1 large picture window would enhance the view greatly. Paul and his associates exceeded our expectations. The sun room and dining room picture windows turned out beautiful. I was impressed by how efficient the two men were in completing such an enormous job in only 2 1/2 days. They were prompt, professional, well organized, knowledgeable, focused, respectful, friendly, and worked extremely hard in the high temperatures (36 C). They removed all the old windows, trash, and cleaned the entire work areas prior to leaving each day. We are so happy with the results my wife contracted with Paul to replace an additional 5 windows, and repair and paint another 4 windows in the back of the house, sun room/basement, and side of the house. My wife and I would strongly recommend Paul and his employees for anyone that needed windows replaced or repaired. The responses of family and friends have all been positive and some humorous. Our son-in-law argued with me that the opening in the dining room had been significantly enlarged and the view amazing. When I pointed out the actual frame and crown molding around the opening remained intact when the old 3 windows were removed, and the new window set into the previous frame he was impressed. Replacing 3 small windows with 1 large window produced results we had not even thought about before. Our daughter asked why we had not done it before when she still lived at home and would have had a wonderful view while eating (her chair faced the windows looking onto the yard).Other comments made included how the new windows really opened up the 2 rooms, how they added significant value to the home; beautiful windows and view, well made, and cost effective.

    2 basement windows

Replaced 2 large 48" x 48" basement windows to improve safety and insulation characteristics. Alexy came and discussed options, took measurements provided a precise estimate. After paying one-third deposit, owner, Paul, came and double checked measurements. Windows were installed one month later by company installer, who was professional and exceptionally qualified. I couldn't be more pleased. Windowrama was chosen as a result of high ratings on Homestars

    windows and doors

A few months ago, we moved into a house built in 1966 and the aluminum windows and sliding glass doors had seen better days. Windowrama sent the salesman Alexy to see us and he brought samples and explained everything patiently. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. There were lots of options since we had a large bay window, a large sliding glass door, a couple smaller hall and bedroom windows and a bathroom window. Each one could be opened from difference sides or top-down, have privacy glass, etc. Alexy took his time and explained everything very well. A week later, another man arrived to take detailed measurements. And then the windows were custom built. The windows were completed sooner than expected and the crew who installed them was extremely courteous and skilled, finishing everything in less than 6 hours and cleaning up after themselves. Overall very positive experience and a great company to deal with.

    Master Bath windows

This was the second time we have used Windowrama for window replacement. Two years ago we had all the windows in our home replaced except the windows in our master bath because we were planning to remodel and unsure how the new bathroom layout would be. Paul was easy to work with and the installers were terrific as well. Instead of replacing with a picture window, we opted for two large, double-hung windows with privacy glass. We are extremely satisfied with the results.

    Windows

I was especially pleased with the WR crew, Alexy was the crew leader and the entire crew was very professional. They were plesant to be around, answered my questions and above all did quality work. My profession is construction inspection and I have worked on many projects with many different contractors. The WR crew is one of the best I have seen in my 20 plus years. Kudos to Alexy and his crew, it is apparent the WR's hires the right people and invests in the training of their people. The crew in the field is the face of the copmpany and their crew is top rate. It is a pleasure to do business with a firm such as Windowrama, top quality product, excellent prices, first rate installation crews, and great customer service. I strongly recommend them, they are a 10 STAR company.

    Great window company

We replaced all the double casement windows in our 1967 fieldstone house with Windowcity Designer Series windows. All are double casement windows, except for the one in the kitchen over the sink, which looks out into the backyard. We replaced the double casement that was there with an awning window. We had the "between glass" blinds installed in all the windows, as well as the interior trim replaced and the window interiors painted. Overall, I am ecstatic with my new windows! My wife and I can be "nit picky" and there just wasn't much to pick about! Anything we had an issue with, and there wasn't much, was taken care of promptly and properly. We will be replacing our front door at some point soon (I hope) and Windowrama will be our first call! We recommended Windowrama to a friend, who we'll call "frugal with high expectations" :), and she is also using them to replace all the windows in her house! Details... I found Windowrama online and remembered seeing the company signs in yards around this area. We got estimates from them as well as from two other companies… a well known local window company and from the local direct hardware store. Paul came out to our house and spent a good amount of time with us going over what we were looking to do, including all the series and options that they had to offer. He was very personable and professional. He by FAR gave us the best estimate for a great product that had exactly the features we wanted. We decided to have the interior trim replaced with the installation and the window interiors painted as well (exterior is maintenance free). The installation went well. The caulking on the outside was done neatly and soundly. The new trim installation was done very neatly as well. It took a few days for the paint crew to become available, but Paul and the paint crew did their best to make it as convenient as possible for us! Rodger and his crew did the painting. They were also friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful whenever we had questions. A few small flaws in the woodwork of the windows and trim and all the nail holes were neatly filled and are no longer discernible. I had very little cleanup to worry about after either the installation or the painting, which was wonderful! SUMMARY Customer service was excellent Price was very fair… below other estimates for the same windows and included new interior trim and painting! Very pleased with the window quality Very pleased that Windowrama stands behind their warranty Love the "blinds between glass" option! My favorite window - the awning window over my kitchen sink! Would happily use Windowrama again and have recommended the company to others.
