My son came out to take a look at my new windows and he was very impressed with the windows upstairs and in the basement. Everything went great, we thought we would have to paint after the windows were installed. My son went outside to paint and there was nothing to paint!! Windowrama, the consultant, and installers did a great job from start to finish, the installers were very friendly and cleaned up very well after they finished putting in our windows. I love Homestars, due to the fact I was able to pick out one of the best companies with awards and a high rating. This is the first time I've used Homestars, and will definitely use them again. I will call Windowrama again for my next project, when I save up the money.

Andre arrived on time to give an estimate of the job. We had a special need for a custom sliding door of 48", He had extensively researched and found a manufacturer who could make it for us. While looking at the kitchen door we also had him look at a 6' bedroom slider with a broken seal and very bad insulation (the wind would blow the curtains 12" into the room with cold air) and also a basement 8' slider which had bad rollers so was very hard to open and close. He also gave us an estimate on the small (28"x38") old spring loaded double-hung window in the bath. The discounts he gave for a much larger job than originally planned were so good we decided to place the order. The window and doors arrived on time. The installers were very professional, clean and polite. They arrived on time, cleaned up as they went, and answered all our questions. Andre came over twice to see how the work was going and to troubleshoot any problems. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We immediately noticed the lack of drafts, the improved appearance of the doors and window and how more "open" the rooms appeared AND the energy savings -we had to turn down the heat! This is a very good contractor who does excellent work for a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire them in the future.

It went great. Thanks, Todd! I'm updating/preparing my home for sale. I needed to replace the old original worn-out HUGE wood picture/2 double hung combo windows in the family room. When Todd, the one of the owners, came over to take measurements and give me a quote, he was very easy-going and friendly. No pressure whatsoever to make a decision then and there, as I had experienced from other contractors. He responded to all my questions and concerns timely. The windows arrived in the timeframe Todd specified. The installation crew was friendly and professional and completed the job quickly, only half a day. The installed product looks awesome both inside the house and outside. The work crew cleaned up after themselves. It was an easy, pleasant experience. If I ever need windows replaced again, I'll definitely go to Windowrama first. The price was very competitive and fair, based on the other quotes that I have received.

They came out and gave us an estimate and never pressured us to buy. Windowrama did a great job replacing the windows. They were also very good about cleaning up after the installation. Extremely happy with the windows and I'm very happy we got the custom trim. Windowrama has a great staff from the Office Manager, GM, to the installers. They were very informative and I felt like they just wanted to help us make the right decision in purchasing windows rather than trying to pressure us into buying. Awesome Company!!

Windowrama did a beautiful bump out to our dining room. It has floor to ceiling divided light windows on all three sides , a number of very creative wood working touches on the inside, and beautiful detail work on the outside. Not only did Garry exceed our high expectations his lead carpenters Jim and Danny Beck are true craftsman who know that the details make the job. The entire crew is extremely dedicated to doing the best work possible and just a pleasure as individuals to have at our home. The work went without a hitch. Even though we made a slight change regarding the crown molding. We have used Windowrama a couple of other times to change a door and a couple of windows, and we have always been very happy with the quality and price of all the work. Due to the size of this job we did get quotes from a number of other contractors and we were very pleasantly surprised by favorable savings and wonderful quality we had by using Windowrama.

Two workers showed up about an hour earlier than scheduled, but that wasn't a huge deal. Better early than late! They worked well as a team. They made quick work of getting the old door out. Both were very personable, took plenty of time to explain what they were doing and share their experience. One of the guys had commercial construction experience going back decades. He offered some valuable tips on other projects we could do to increase our curb appeal. The new door was a perfect fit. They were thorough and did not rush at all. In total, they were both here for about 6 hours. They even made a quick trip to the hardware store to pick up some molding since our original door didn't have any. The final outcome looks great. We can tell the quality of the product is very high. We went from a sliding door which was a value detractor to a door which is a value add (since the warranty is transferable). Overall, we are very satisfied. Zero remorse whatsoever. Every time we open the door, we are so glad we had it replaced with a quality product (and didn't attempt it ourselves).

We had 3 basement windows that were old and one had a crack in one of them. Plus they were single pane. We replaced them with double pane glass windows that were more efficient. We called Windowrama for an estimate, we bought windows and put down a down payment for the windows to be ordered. We were told it may take awhile to get them back, because of the custom color, but once they came in they were installed. Installation only took 3 hours. The installers were great, it was just an overall great experience!!

My initial search with Homestars included three contractors that I had chosen from those who had top ratings. I had received contractor 1's quote which seemed very attractive, but I needed to hear what the other teams had to offer. Upon my second choice, Alexy came to my place and gave me a quote rather quickly on a piece of paper (the other used a fancy form). I was surprised at how quick Alexy came up with his numbers. I felt very comfortable with the Windowrama product line, I stopped my search, and chose them. Alexy showed me his product, assured me a timely installation, and most importantly he was from the area. I will always do business with local folks. So I chose Windowrama. And it proved to be a good decision. His team came in for the install at the agreed time. I had eight windows and one back door installed. Andre and Mike (his assigned team for my home) were super polite and cleaned up after any messes (which I felt there were none). There was a previous nick from one of my boys on an internal wall and these guys patched and painted it. It wasn't even part of the windows, or the install. But they fixed it. Wow! I felt completely comfortable with them entering my home and taking care of business, I gave them my garage code to the home to work while I was away. Alexy even came by and checked on things very frequently. These guys were great! Overall, I am super pleased with my experience with Windowrama. I am a bit nit-picky about some fine details, and Alexy's team covered those with no questions. The windows are beautiful, and the back door install was exceptional. We could not have been more pleased with this project! We didn't think there was any way to replace this old patio door since it was so big. When I called Garry, he immediately told me that knew exactly what kind of door it was and that he had replaced several just like it. When he came out, he showed us a beautiful door with lots of options for style and colour. We felt the price was very reasonable (it included installation and removal of the old door.) The door came in exactly when Garry said it would --20 days--and was installed that week. The installers, Alexy and Mike, were very professional did a fabulous job. They had a lot of trouble getting the old door out, but they took their time and completely cleaned up the area when they were through. The installation looks so good, including the trim around the door. Mike even constructed some flashing to prevent water leaking down into the step in front of the new Door. We will use Windowrama again and will recommend them to anyone who needs windows or patio doors.

Windowrama was one of three estimates I got. Alexy, the owner, came to the house, measured all the windows and doors, and explained the different products available. He was the only one of the three companies I called that gave me a satisfactory solution to replacing an old French door in my kitchen. To help me decide which French door to use, we were able to go to a former client of his and look at her doors. He even drove me over so I could see the doors. He e-mailed me an estimate the same day. We added three windows in the garage to the job a few days later, and Alexy came right out to measure for them. Additionally, after a break-in, we decided to replace an additional door - he was very responsive and came out to measure and give us an estimate for the additional door. He was very helpful and patient as we added to the job. The installation team did excellent work. They arrived on time, and worked hard the entire day despite very cold weather. He consulted us on a few details, and was very helpful when decisions needed to be made. The only issue was with the screens - we wanted full screen, but half screens were ordered. But Alexy corrected the order, and installed the half screens so we could open the windows until the full screens can be installed. Overall, we had an excellent experience with Windowrama and would not hesitate to use this company again.
