    Put in new floors, trim, built cabinet and some tile,trim door

    This was my best experience hiring a contractor not only are the prices better then most the work and care he puts into his work is exceptional. I am so happy. Mike goes above and beyond to meet customer satisfaction. I'm so happy i have someone i can rely on now and i highly recommend his service to anyone. Thanks Mike

    Basement Renovation

    Finally we have our basement done after almost two years struggle to find a good contractor!!! Referred by a friend whom Mike did the drywall, taping and mudding, great reference. Mike did a good job finishing our basement including framing, drywall, taping mudding, flooring and subflooring, plus he engaged and coordinated other contractor’s e.g. Electrical, Plumbing, Texture, and Painting without any surcharge. Like other reviewers said, he is a true professional, takes the pride of his work, put efforts and thoughts to get the things done right, great communication, accurately estimating the job no surprising in the end. I’d not hesitate to recommend Mike to all my friends.

    Ceiling Repair and Replacement

    Because of the excellent reviews on HomeStars, I engaged Mike to both repair and replace some ceiling drywall in an older home. The job turned out to be more involved than we had anticipated, because old homes can be full of surprises. Mike, thankfully, was not fazed by what he found, and worked through the problems to deliver the results I expected. I'm really pleased with the outcome, and the reasonable price I paid, and I won't hesitate to use Mike for future plaster and drywall work.

    Main Floor Renovation

    Mike did a great job on the mud/tape for our main floor renovation. He was polite, professional, and very accommodating to our schedule. He took great care to keep the dust form getting through the rest of the house and his prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this company!

    Basement Drywall Project

    Mike was professional, friendly, punctual and did an excellent job with our basement's drywall, (inc. mudding and taping) as well as framing. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and will refer him to those looking for a project done in their home. He was reasonably priced and took his time to make sure everything was done above our expectations. I was very happy with the finished product and Mike has even followed up days after being finished and paid, to see if I am still satisfied. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his excellent work! Thanks again, Mike!

    Drywall repair

    Mike Zerning is a true professional. He arrived on time for appointments, which is important in my books. He is meticulous about his work. He had a challenging area to fill in in our living room – a corner of the room from which we had ripped out an old fireplace. There was a tricky little bump that some might have ignored but Mike clucked and fussed, insisting it didn’t fit his standard, then sanded and smoothed until the offending bump disappeared into the wall. The nature of his job requires repeat visits, but he doesn’t charge until it’s all done. Beautiful job.

    Fantastic work and customer care

    i had contacted Mike on HomeStars and he got back to me right away with a quote/date as to when the work could be done. He was here the following week and finished the job effectively. Being a rental suite, he was very respectful towards the tenants. I would definitely recommend mike to anyone.

    Basement Bathroom Renovation

    I had goals of putting the drywall in myself, but after dealing with my own mistakes, I decided to hire a long standing professional to assist me with my renovation. Mike and his crew were professional, communicated their plan of action and implemented the plan with ease. Mike and his crew kept the area clean. I trust Mike's workmanship, it's always top notch.     Finishing basement one bedroom, bathroom, rec area

    Mike was great, returned calls/emails right away. Gave detailed quote with all rooms, areas, even corners so you could compare and not get one big number with hidden fees like other contractors. Has come back to touch up minor areas and stands behind his work. Always cleans his space up and timely. You may want to look at him framing too as ours was home builder done and poorly squared which resulted in some challenging areas. He also did the shower area with concrete board.

    Ceiling replacement

    We had a flood in our home and needed some major drywall work done. I found Mike online and decided to ask him for a quote. He was one of the few that returned his calls and actually showed up to give us a quote. We hired him. He kept in touch prior to work starting and then showed up exactly as he said he would. Quality work completed. Quality man to hire. Look forward to using him again if needed.
