    Replacement Heat Pump

    My old heat pump died unexpectedly. ThermoCool were very responsive and replaced it the next day. They had exactly the right model. Recommend them for this type of work to anyone. They were very professional and efficient.

    Fan Coil Noise Issue

    The noise issue was not sufficiently investigated. This is a complicated issue and may not be solved in one site visit.

    Condo HVAC A/C unit struggling

    The 9 year old MagicPak in my condo had been struggling to keep up with the heat this summer. Alex came as scheduled, he was very professional and courteous. He explained what he was doing - thorough cleaning, inspection and testing of components - and advised me on future maintenance. The unit is now running efficiently and comfortably cool. I am happy to recommend Thermo Cool Mechanical, am very pleased with the service including Melissa with the booking and invoicing process.

    Inspection of Heat Pump

    I was not happy with the service as I would like to know what's wrong and meet with the inspector to explain the problem before replacing the unit. He was there to do other job in the building and so charged me an hour service for just showing up and didn't bother to call me to explain the problem, instead I received a quote for replacing a new unit.. My other unit at a different building, the technician came as scheduled and worked on the heat pump for almost an hour but couldn't get the unit to run on full capacity, so he took the unit to their factory to check as he didn't think it's necessary to change the unit. This is what service is. Any command?

    Hello, Sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience. We did try to call you when we were on site however, our service technician was unable to get a hold of you. As we did not have authorization to remove the unit, therefore it was left within the suite. However, based on the diagnosis, a burnt compressor resulting in smoke repairs we would not recommend a bench test as repairs would be costly and temporary. As your current heat pump unit is original and old, performing such a large repair is not recommended. If you would like to further discuss your options for replacement please contact our office.     Brief visit. Very professional.

    In the intense heat I was beginning to wonder if my HVAC was working properly. It urns out it was, but Shane was very helpful in cleaning the filters and explaining how everything worked.

    AC Fix

    Called for AC fix, but the charges were not clear. Received invoice for work time that starts at parking lot not the serviced time? Seems like that should have been explained prior.

    AC replacement

    They replaced the AC/heating unit in my apartment very quickly and efficiently. I called on Friday and next Monday I had a new unit! I am happy with it so far.

    Amazing service!

    Our A/C unit needed to be repaired. We called Thermo Cool and they took an in-depth look. They advised they needed to take a closer look. The next day they advised of parts needed and repair service. Due to delivery of parts the estimated time would have been 2-4 weeks for repair but we were so pleased when the unit was back one week later! Our place is so nicely cooled now!

    heat pump not cooling.

    Heat pump not working. Freezing up. Needs freon apparently. Assumed freon leak. why doesn't service man, Alex (very personable) have canister to top up on a call like this? Unit will now be removed to be examined at shop. In the meantime we sweat.

    Good day Mr. Hoffman, We understand your frustration. When it's matters of a refrigerant leak we are mandated by law to repair the leak vs just topping up the system. The leak could be coming from multiple locations and trying to pinpoint that within your suite could be time consuming and costly. Whereas, if the unit is removed, we are able to diagnose and repair in half the billable time. We always try to have a quick turnaround time.
