Edit: I spoke to the manager who made things right. They sent someone out to look over the system and make sure everything was water-tight. I hired Boldt to open my pool, as we had recently bought the house and this was our first time opening the pool we had some questions and made it very clear that we needed the help. The team was helpful in answering SOME of our questions but for other they tried to sell us a separate service to have someone from the company come out and teach us about the pool. They left before the pool was even filled, instructing me on when I needed to open the skimmer pipe after having dumped some liquid chlorine in and removing the winter cover. I was a bit disappointed as I had been told to expect that the pool would be swimmable by that weekend, which it clearly wasn't going to be. The following weeks saw us buying tons of chemicals and cleaning the pool several times all while learning our way through from youTube videos. Once I finally had the pH under control and the water was clear I couldn't figure out why the chlorine levels wouldn't stabilize, we even went so far as to buy a floating chlorinator but I couldn't get the levels to show up on a test. Finally I went back to youTube to find that I should check the in-line chlorinator. What I thought I would find when I did was that whatever chlorine they may have put in would be used up, what I found instead was that they hadn't even removed the winterizing foam. At this point I felt that I had paid $300 to have someone come out, remove the cover, dump some chlorine in and flip the switch; they didn't even stick around long enough to open the skimmer themselves to make sure it had no problems. When I called Boldt to ask how we might reconcile this I was told that "they sometimes put that foam in to clean the chlorinator," and when I asked why, if this was the case I wasn't told to later remove it I was told that they "apologize for that." It's is worth noting that this 'cleaning foam,' thing is a complete fabrication as there is no way that what basically amounts to a pool noodle is going to clean anything. I am going to be taking me pool servicing needs elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

I highly recommend Boldt for the purchase of patio furniture & supplies. My sales rep, Lisa, was extremely knowledgeable about all items & did an amazing job of organizing the ordering & delivery of all items. She took the time to ensure all my needs were met & did so in such a friendly way that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boldt to all my friends & family. I have always received top quality from the service department & sales staff of Boldt Pools. Kudoos Boldt & keep up the good work!!!!!

I am going to keep this short, simple and to the point. This is the This is the first time I have ever written a negative review on this site, however I must inform other consumers of this company........Simply put......Please do yourself and favour and stay away from Boldt Pools! We needed a small job done and prior to starting they quoted a price and when the job was done they charged us far more than what they originally quoted. (A quote is one thing but when they more than double the price at the end this is totally unacceptable). They are dishonest and their customer service is beyond horrible. Again, please stay away from Boldt Pools........There are far better reputable Pool Companies in the area.

Own a fairly old tub and spa service technician was very well versed and explained everything on repair. Very fair priced and knowledgeable. Too bad he works for this company as he is a tremendous asset and should be teaching others how to do service.

I have been a customer of Boldt Pools for over 7 years, they have amazing customer service and their top notch water testing lab is really up to date. I also get them to close and open my pool and I never have had any problems with them !!!

We paid for a pool opening and had to call over and over to get the job completed. We complained three times. Tonight we were called back and basically lectured -- a monologue while my husband sat silently on the other end. Terrible service -- they still have not finished the job -- one more call to get the waterline scrubbed as promised or just forget about them? So upset by the careless treatment.

Boldt Pools installed a new pool for me a couple years back, and the workmanship was outstanding, and to this day, Boldt tends to anything I need regarding my pool, hassle-free. The staff is always friendly and helpful, but more than anything, they are knowledgeable and care about what needs to be done. I would recommend Boldt for anything backyard related.

Boldt Pools and Spas has been opening my pool for years. The service department is quick to help with anything I need and the office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The crews who open my pool every year really know their stuff and always do a great job. When I had an issue last year with a leak in my pool, Boldt found the problem right away and repaired it at a very reasonable cost. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pool needs and always recommend Boldt to all my friends.

I came over to review this amazing company, after I had them repair my hot tub Paul one of the head techs for Boldt Pools came out and found the issue with my hot tub. Since then my hot tub works amazing
