    Don't use Boldt! Very bad service!

    We signed a contract with Boldt and paid required amount (May 2021) to install a new pool liner. The work supposed to be finished in mid June 2021. We still don't have it installed. The only thing Boldt did so far, was removing the old liner. And they left it like this for over 2 months, causing more deterioration. The cost of the repairs to the pool was assessed at the beginning of the process and was included in the contract. Now Boldt wants to charge more for repairs because of the additional deterioration, which is their fault. From the beginning Boldt representative who manages the installations was hard to reach, delayed responding to phone messages or emails, changing narrative about the reasons for the delay of the installation. The latest version was that the liner will be installed for sure last Wednesday. Nobody showed up.

    Absolutely great service!

    I was in need of quick service and I came across boldt pools, I was introduced to Jacob and Jeremy and I was surprised with how friendly and engaging these two were! I felt confident in leaving the service in their hands and was astonished with their phenomenal work, I will definitely come to this company again in the future.

    disappointing customer service and workmanship

    have dealt with boldt pools for at least 15 years and always had good outcome until last summer. Ordered new inground liner and safety winter cover. It took several days to get liner installed, workers kept leaving as they were working on multiple jobs at one time. I observed them in the shallow end mixing their cement mix they use for patch, there were clumps all around the wheelbarrow and I "assumed" they would clean that up or smooth it out but that was not the case. Once I was able to get into the pool, I had a very "lumpy" shallow end. I left several messages which were not returned, I made 3 visits in person to try and resolve issue, they said it was due to my pool needing patching....well I agree the deep end did but not shallow end, before they removed the old liner, my shallow end was completely smooth! They tried to "appease" me by offering to close my pool after installing new winter cover. On opening my pool this week, we were unable to remove the winter plugs, finally did get one off with pliers but have 2 left and did not want to do damage by forcing. They removed plugs from sand filter and pump which are no where to be found. I called to see if someone could just come and unscrew the plugs which they put in, have to wait for 2 weeks with a pool that has water that is like a swamp. Last time I will ever let anyone else close my pool!

    Great customer service/robotic cleaner purchase

    Due to my husband's disability, and the difficulty he now has cleaning our in-ground pool, I was in the market for a robotic cleaner. I needed a cleaner that was easy for my husband to lift/use, and one that could easily pick up large debris like leaves and pine needles from trees in neighbouring yards. Jeremey at Bolt Pools recommended a Polaris 9650i. It works really, really well. I'm super happy with this purchase so far, and have been happy with Boldt Pool's customer service.

    best service in st Catharines , got 3 years of worry free hut tub. so happy I purchased this with this company. Service guys are outstanding. !!!! warranty is very taken seriously !!!! thank you guys..!!!!

    Liner install

    We needed a Liner replacement and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sam C in Service looked after the entire process and kept us totally up to date on when the liner was arriving and when to expect it to be installed. She was bang on , the week she said they would be there was the week it was installed. Very professional, couldn’t have asked for more. Have Recommended Boldt to others in the past and will continue moving forward, great people

    In-ground salt water pool

    Boldt pools has gone above and beyond to get my pool in and operational so that me and my family could get use out of it with what little remains of the summer. Jordan Walychuk moved heaven and earth to get this pool ready for the September long weekend in very short notice and Adam Zadorozny even came out on the Friday of the long weekend to open it up and stayed well past 7pm just so my kids could swim! This duo has been amazing! Responding to my questions and requests without hesitation and has been so helpful! And my pool looks AMAZING!! THANK YOU JORDAN AND ADAM! You guys are awesome!!!!!     5 years with a pool, and I only call these guys

    I bought a house with a pool 5 years ago, and knew almost nothing. I have bought from Boldt - New Filter New VS Pump Aqua Rite Salt System Saftey Cover MX8 Elite Solar Blanket All my chemicals Its great, the staff know what they are talking about, you can drop off your water sample and they email you the details. Greg and Jay are my go to guys. Always helping me go in the right direction and enouraging me to do it myself when I can. Its nice to walk into a clean big building and be helped almost right away. Highly recomend! Brandon

    Third time's not the charm...

    This is my 3rd summer with Boldt, a company that has been around for a long time and has a seemingly good reputation. Everyone at the service desk is pleasant and wants to help..but it stops there. 1st summer, I bought a heater from Boldt - dealt with angry, unhelpful delivery guys. 2nd summer, complete mess, they pushed back my opening date TWICE, didn't get my pool opened until July and the kid they sent forgot to close a valve and our pool was draining. We had experts come in thinking busted pipes etc.. NOPE, just negligence on Boldt's part. Then, same guy came back and did something else that resulted in a nice flood in my backyard. The manager was apologetic and compensated us with a free pool cleaning. Year 3, they agree to open our pool - no cleaning, took about 15 minutes and then when I asked about vacuuming said they're booked for the summer. We would've hired another company to do the complete job, had they told us that in the first place. I'm done with them. I think they're too busy and not willing to hire more people to keep up their solid reputation, which from what I'm reading is going down quickly.

    POOL OPENING DISASTER

    A very similar story to one just posted. $300 to remove the cover and attach a couple of pipes. Boldt closed my pool last year. As the water level was not high enough to turn the pump on I was told just to wait until it was and then turn on. I did this but could not get the pool working correctly. After a discussion with the company they sent a technician. He said the line could be blocked. I didn't understand how and spoke with the company again. They wanted to charge me to have it fixed. Bottom line after much discussion and a return visit it was there fault as they opened the skimmer wrong.. Don't hire this company.
