Hargrave Heating has been amazing to work with. We initially began contact with them in summer of 2018 as we were shopping for new furnace and AC units. We've dealt with Kevin from the initial quoting appointment and he is fantastic. Kevin went the extra mile to ensure we fully understood his recommendations, which took into account both our needs and or budget. He also ensured he was competitive with our other quotes so we weren't comparing apples to oranges. His installation team for our new units were prompt, efficient and incredibly clean in all their work, both indoors and out. Since our quote we've had to call on Kevin and Hargrave a couple times with minor questions and they've responded and visited within 24 hours, if not the same day, same hour. I will be, and already have, providing Hargrave to anyone who asks for a recommendation.

We recently replaced our 22 year old furnace and in doing so met with and obtained quotes from four different companies. After a full review of all the information we gathered we selected Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning. From the time of getting a quote to final installation, the entire Hargrave team was informative, responsive to any questions and at all times very professional and easy to work with. The two Hargrave furnace installers worked very efficiently, were very professional and left the furnace area spotless. I would highly recommend Hargrave to friends and family without hesitation.

Last summer my furnace was red-tagged and I found myself shopping for a new furnace, and given that my air conditioning unit was very old, I decided to change that as well. After getting two other quotes, our friend recommended Hargrave and after meeting with Bryan, we chose Hargrave. We ended up replacing our entire HVAC system. The service we received from the office staff and the professionalism of the installers were nothing short of impeccable. The office staff was also extremely instrumental in assisting us to resolve an ongoing issue we had with our previous water heater provider who kept calling us and sending us invoices for $450 for removing the water heater. Emily and Min were absolutely amazing, always prompt at getting back to me and always keeping me informed and following up. . A few days ago, while having some interlock work being done around our home, the city came by to do some upgrades to our gas line. When the inspector came last Friday afternoon, he issued a warning about the venting. I contacted Hargrave while the inspector was there and even though the inspector determined Hargrave had done everything correctly, Janet called me back and left a message, asking me to call her back so she could arrange for someone to come out and assess everything at no charge to us. I called her back after 5 p.m. and even though the office closed at that time, she picked up the phone and went out of her way to book an appointment for us for first thing Monday morning. Kevin arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and looked over all the equipment, inside and out, he did a few adjustments and told us he would take care of resolving the warning and we did not have to worry about anything. He even changed our furnace filter! We found Kevin to be very friendly, helpful and professional. We have had nothing but a fantastic experience with this company. It is very rare to find a company who cares that much about their customers and who goes out of their way to ensure any issue is resolved fully and promptly. I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a company who is professional, reliable and offers outstanding customer service.

Steven went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience at great value and the install team of Steve and Demitri were terrific. On time, quick, helpful and honest. Our family needed to replace our aging air conditioner. I called Carrier to enquire about Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers in the Greater Toronto Area. They specifically mentioned Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning because of their distinction of being awarded the prestigious 2018 Carrier President's Award. They also receive numerous accolades on HomeStars. Upon speaking to office staff member Janet, she immediately set up an appointment for a consultation. She was very helpful, courteous, polite and provided overall excellent customer service. She would later provide useful e-mail appointment reminders and invoices. Mr. Tim Sakai, Sales Manager provided the consultation in our home. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, thorough and provided a no pressure tactic approach as he provided all the options available to meet our needs. He was also very genuine, honest and trustworthy in his approach. Shortly afterwards, he provided an extremely informative and detailed estimate of the options available to us with no hidden costs. In addition, they provide a 10 year parts and labour warranty coverage provided annual maintenance is carried out. The service technicians and installers were Kevin, Steve, and Antonio. They were punctual, extremely professional, highly knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and displayed excellent workmanship. Everything was installed meticulously and to Code. They were also available to answer any questions I had. We are very pleased with the Carrier Infinity Air Conditioner and Carrier Infinity System Control Thermostat and the quality of workmanship and care provided by Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning. The entire staff are extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. It is without hesitation that we would recommend Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone interested on an HVAC purchase and install.

Just had a carrier furnace installed. Dimitri and Steve were extremely professional and highly knowledgeable. I would 100% recommended the company and technicians. I Aslo want to make a note that the problem was diagnosed at 9:00 am and a new furnace was going in by 12:00 pm.

When our old furnace (Bryant) started to smell bad from vents we had it diagnosed with failing secondary heat exchanger, and even though parts were free on warranty, labor was not and paying $900 to fix 13yo furnace didn't make sense, so we stated to look for options to replace it, and with $800 in trade in allowance from Carrier due to the heat exchanger issue we decided to go with Carrier and fetched the list of factory authorized dealers, then we picked those with 90% of better reviews here on HomeStars and asked for quotes. Two dealers stood out with their quotes, but we picked Hargrave because they gave us the best price and they have perfect reviews on Google. They showed up on time, rolled the covers to protect our floor and got to work. The job was done in 4 hours, they reconnected the humidifier and Nest thermostat, they cleaned and removed the old furnace and even took garbage with them. We were impressed - it's like we never had the old furnace. And as promised, about 1 hour after they left we got tons of emails from their office about our rebates. I visited Lowe's near my home and spoke to a staff there about getting my furnace replaced. The staff recommended Hargrave Heating And Air Conditioning. Got an estimate via email. Confirmed and paid through Lowe's Installation Department. They confirmed the installation date and time. On the day of installation, 2 installers came. Laid the floor and staircase with protective cloth. They dismantled my existing furnace and remove it and loaded it into their vehicle. Brought the new furnace and installed it. Everything was done very professionally and quick. Tested it before leaving.

Woke up to a freezing house 18 yr old furnace was finished and needed to be replaced . Called Hargrave hearing and had a rep at my door with in the hour ! Good price great installation I recommend hargrave heating air-conditioning 100% to anyone that’s looking to get good service great insulation installation at a good price

We were very pleased with the promptness and professionalism of the installation crew (Steven and Steven). The job took about four hours, and they left the site spotless. Kevin, the contact person, was amazing—explaining the options—either replacing the defective heat exchanger or getting a new furnace with accompanying warranties and rebates. He was again amazing when he showed up the next day within 20 minutes to correct a minor air bubble caused when the gas had been shut off leading to no heat/gas getting to the water tank. Very happy with the whole job!
