Very good. They have good technicians who know what they are doing. I did get a leak of the coolant a couple of years later due to a fault at the connection which may have been a installation issue or perhaps materials. Either way they fixed it promptly. The service program is good I would suggest the premium one with unlimited calls once the heater is a few years old. We have used that several times it's worth the additional cost for the peace of mind.

Called Hargrave and spoke with Janice. Very polite and friendly. My parents furnace quit working. Janice had a technician (I believe Steven) there within 3 hours. He was able to do a simple fix and was honest and very friendly as well. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for honest, reliable and courteous service. Thank you all. Tammy

tl;dr I am a single, middle-aged woman living in a detached house and I would have no hesitation recommending Hargrave. In fact, I hired them twice. My furnace was chugging along noisily but I was paying way too much to heat the house to 18C (64F) the first winter I lived in my house. Then I broke my neck and replacing the furnace became a priority for safety and comfort. I was referred to Kevin by a friend who had done a similar upgrade. Hargrave (Marcus and Ryan) replaced my ancient furnace with a hybrid Carrier unit - smaller (60K BTU) furnace in the basement and large (2 ton) heat pump in the same spot as the a/c. Marcus and Ryan worked quickly despite not great weather conditions and needing to rebuild a smaller plenum unit. They were very respectful and left minimal clean up. My gas bill immediately dropped and my hydro bill increased slightly despite setting the main floor heating temperature to 21C (70F) and my broken neck really appreciated the extra warmth. I asked Kevin to come back and quote me on a smaller heat pump unit for the upstairs (south and west facing) main bedroom which gets unbearably hot on sunny days. The new hybrid system in the basement is pushing cold air to the rest of the house but the duct run to the main bedroom is too long and likely not insulated. Kevin quoted me on a 6,000BTU ductless high wall unit and sent (another) Kevin and Sam to install it in under a week. They were quick and there was almost no noise or clean up. Now that I have the smaller unit cooling the upstairs, I can set the main floor temperature two degrees higher which means the basement isn't a meatlocker. The entire house is much more comfortable and I don't think I have ever slept so well in my house in the past two years until Hargrave upgraded my HVAC system.

Our workspace for the installation of a new high efficiency furnace was unusually tight, but Kevin and the Hargrave team were pros! Kevin identified a potential problem that no other company quoting did, and despite installers Marcus and Ryans expert work, the problem occurred but was rectified. Beyond technical skills, I am most impressed with Hargraves team approach and clear, prompt, communicationfrom Kevin, the office staff, and the installers.

The Hargrave team is attentive and efficient. They coordinated all the services I needed to get the job done with a rebate. All workers showed up on time; they were knowledgeable, clean and respectful. I would recommend Hargrave to all my friends and family.

Hargrave, through Lowe's, came to install a heat pump at our home. Tim did the initial inspection and estimate; he informed us of an ongoing Govt rebate program. The installation was scheduled. Steve and Elijah did a great job. I'd recommend Hargrave to anyone seeking to get this kind of work done.

The current Aircon sprung a leak so had three quotes and decided to go with Hargrave. What a wonderful company, quote came on time, installers came on time and workmanship was excellent. Crew Cleaned up the place and explained the new thermostat settings together with rebates. This is the company you can rely on when you are looking for a trustworthy partner for your HVAC system Would definitely recommend do business again.

Steve is very knowledgeable about the installation, maintenance, testing, inspection and repair of heat pumps and gas furnaces. He even pointed out an error that the gas furnace installer (not Hargrave) had made that was likely to cause a breakdown of the gas valve.

The men did an excellent job in installing the furnace. I can recommend them for a good job
