Experience was excellent from the moment I called the hotline. Someone answered right away, took my info and committed to calling back in a few minutes with appointment availability. 5 min later they called back and explained options of a on site visit that evening or the next day, also pointing out that daytime service call was cheaper, good to know right up front. I arranged for a morning visit and Kevin arrived exactly in time. Within 30min we had a diagnosis, parts availability and approx cost. We agreed and the furnace was fixed shortly after. Kevin took the time to explain the issue in detail, I’m an engineer so very interested in these type of things, his explanation was clear and I was confident (having done some of the troubleshooting myself) that it was correct. Punctual, honest service at a good price, exactly what I was looking for.

Just wanted to thank Hargrave, specifically Tim S. for being the ultimate professional. He took care of my parents and patiently walked them through the entire process. Even when my Dad had a small concern, Tim was quick to get on the phone and explain. Very hard to find service people this good now a days. We are very happy with the fair price and extremely impressed with the quick and efficient installation from Dimitri and his crew. Very clean and respectful . We will definitely recommend this company . Please keep up the great service.

When my furnace broke down a few years ago, I needed some parts to fix it. Some shops would not sell to general public. Hargrave was not only willing to sell, but one of the techs offered to meet me after hours so I could get it sooner! He was super helpful and gave me some good tips. When that furnace needed replacement, I knew I would by from Hargrave and didn't even bother to compare prices with other shops. That same tech came to visit and he remembered me. He was super knowledgeable and explained the difference between economy and premium models. Being an engineer, I really appreciated knowing what I would get for the extra cost. My main concerns were AC noise since we have a pool. Our old A/C unit was loud like a jet engine. We would shut it off when outside by the pool. We decided to go top end and are totally satisfied. A/C is quiet. Heating and cooling is noticeably more effective in every room, just like the tech/sales explained. Hargrave's financing option made it easy to afford the premium models too. I later compared prices with my inlaws who also had to replace furnace and AC. I did pay a little more, but the equipment we got is A LOT better. It's difficult to compare the two packages. I like Hargrave because they try so hard to keep my family comfortable. When my furnace broke down, they answered the phone during off hours. I was expecting an answering machine. They even offered to visit right away! Again, the visiting tech was very experienced and clearly explained to me his diagnosis.... cracked heat exchanger. I'm very happy that I found this place.

Very responsive and professional. Assessed my requirements, provided an estimate and installed as per commitment. I was extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and expediency from the point of contact through the completion of install and removal of the old hot water tank. Highly recommend!

Our furnace vent motor failed in the early morning and was left without heating. Called Hargrave Heating and Air Conditioning at 8:00am and within 15mins the technician Kevin called me back and arranged to come right away. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and friendly; couldn't be happier with his work and service. Highly recommended.

Prompt. Very knowledgable. Fixed the problem. Fair price. Despite having a second furnace to supplement the main furnace, we were experiencing cold temperatures on our 2nd and 3rd floor. The problem was diagnosed and corrected immediately - a combination of service required and a tutorial on how to better set and operate our thermostats. I called for service on Friday morning and the appointment was set for the following Monday. The technician, McKenzie, was very informative, giving me the necessary information to maximize my HVAC set-up and solve the problem. Very smart guy; polite and efficient. Service call was $119.00 and I paid $50.00 for two humidifier filters.

Two gentlemen came to my home to replace my furnace, they were very professional and excellent service, answer all the question you have. I would use them again and recommend to other people.

The Hargrave heating and air rep I dealt with made the process easy for me and was very knowledge. He had some suggestions and helped me set up an energy audit that helped me recoup some of the expenses of the new energy efficient heating and cooling systems I purchased.

Hargrave HVAC company replaced my furnace and AC on Dec. 1st. 2017. Prior to their estimate and installation, I had never heard of this company before. They did not even make it to my list of companies during my research! However, after 4 different estimates – they moved to the top of my list, even though they were the most expensive by a few hundred $. The estimate was done by Kevin – he was very thorough during this process and listened to my input. He incorporated what I wanted to be done in his estimate, and sent it to me by email a few days later. It was the most detailed estimate of all the companies, and this was the main reason that I decided to go with Hargrave heating and cooling, as I did not want any surprises during the installation. The installation was done by Dimitri and Steve – they were 2 very hard working guys, and just kept going till they were done. I was not disappointed in my choice for choosing Hargrave HVAC company, as the installation was done better than I expected! Hopefully, the installed system will perform better than my expectations for the next 10 years of service, and support from a good company. Very please with the install and time it took. They arrived on the schedule time and made sure to protect our floors when taking out the old furnace and hot water tank.
