    Top services with professionalism

    I just got My 25 years old AC and furnace replaced by Hargrave. I am extremely happy about the service from sales manager Tim to his installation team.Beautiful duct work and venting installed.The system is running so quiet.Highly recommend!!

    Fantastic installation from Hargrave Heating!

    I highly recommend its company. They are extremely responsive to address your concerns. Everyone I spoke to on the phone is knowledgeable and professional. I had my furnace and AC replaced by Hargrave and they were absolutely fantastic. They were punctual, courteous and very professional. They did an excellent job and kept me updated on the progress during installation as well as offer the professional tips and advice of how to maximize the benefits of my services. I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work and their quick turn around time. This is hands down the best company I have encountered as far as customer service, prices and support. I am an extremely satisfied customer!

    Furnace and water tank install

    With a10 star rating I would expect quality work from experienced licensed techs, a manager who accepts responsibility when errors are made and would resolve them in a timely and professional manner. June 2019 Carrier Infinity furnace and water tank installed. Damage to the interior and exterior walls w/ 4 wrong holes (2-9x10",1-10x12", 1-5")made w/ dry wall and insulation removed. Damaged brick, home left in a mess w. nails and screws on the ground which is a safety issue. No replacement of filter provided. Could not remove filter w/ ease so that resulted in another home visit. Air leaks noted on furnace, pipes, bathroom fan in off position, cold basement, in cupboards, corridor and bathroom during winter. Repaired w/ metal tape all over furnace. Ceiling opened a 2nd time. A large hole was discovered by my contractor and reason for cold air. Company used a modified concentric grill along with a large PVC pipe and caulking was applied to correct the problem. All unacceptable. I continued having venting issues and air leaks until August 2020. Another contractor found huge holes around exhaust pipe to furnace that leads to exterior wall and damage to bathroom fan which is about 5" from install. Not only do I have to replace with a new fan b/c builder's model is no longer distributed but I have to re-do instillation to correct the problem of air leaks. 3x no hot water including long weekends. Difficulty reaching staff on 24 hr emergency line and getting a response to emails sometimes takes 3 weeks. Gas tech changed sensor button but all that was required was to reset the buttons. Name of installer on water tank lease unknown to me. I requested a tag for the furnace stating company's name, etc and was given Dec 2019. Gas tech signature on tag didn't do the install. Both techs who did the install were fired. Outstanding funds owed to me to repair damages and correct venting issues approx. 1,700. No apology or acknowledgement from manager. Pls. read BBB reviews on Hargrave in customer complaints. - U.R. October 19th, 2020 Manager of Hargrave contacted me by phone on Sept.14th, 2020 to discuss my concerns and the review written above. He requested I send receipts of repairs which I did on Sept 20th and again on Oct.1st. 2020. I included a breakdown of repairs and money owed to me from 2019 and 2020.I still have outstanding repairs. Due to Covid its difficult finding workers therefore one can expect many delays for the entire year of 2020. To date no response from Hargrave. It is quite evident this company has no intentions of resolving issues. Consumers please do your research and be well informed of the meaning of an Authorized Carrier Factory Dealer and an Independent Distributor or Dealer of Carrier products and the responsibilities of each. With regards to receiving 4 Presidents Carrier Awards, my experience with this company certainly does not reflect the excellence in service they are supposed to provide to homeowners in areas of EFFICIENCY, PROFESSIONALISM, INSTILLATION FROM CERTIFIED TECHS AND SATISFACTION IN CUSTOMER CARE. I AM GREATLY DISAPPOINTED OF HOW THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH CLIENTS WHO HAVE ISSUES WITH THEIR INSTALL.

    A/C replacement

    Very responsive and professional, very quick turn around time from calling from the car while travelling to a technician's visit to determine that the compressor was shorted, through discussion about a full replacement to installation was just two days in the middle of the hot summer. Amazing service, a professional approach through the quoting, service appointments and payments. Highly recommended, especially as the Carrier authorized dealer.

    Basement Completion

    Based on a referral, I hired Hargrave to install a fireplace and complete ventilation work for my basement. They immediately responded to my request and provided me with a very competitive price. The work was completed in one day. They left the work space immaculate. I highly recommend this company. Thank-you

    BBQ Natural Gas Line

    I contacted the company through a service request on Homestars. The guys came in gave me the best quote and I hired them. They installed the gas line in the middle of February outside instead of inside which gave me piece of mind knowing I don't have extra gas flowing long distance inside the house. A few months later I realized the hookup was facing up due to the oil catch needing to face down. I contacted them to come and fix the issue and they agreed to come and have the quick connect facing the way I need it too in order to have it hooked up to my grill

    New Furnace and Air Conditioner

    Our really old stuff broke and they came and put new stuff in without and drama. They accommodated our weird layout and didn't nickle and dime us. The quote was clear and quick. They made it very easy to spend a lot of money A+.

    Furnace Installation

    In the middle of a heatwave, our AC stopped working. Our regular HVAC company determined the problem was our furnace blower. The next day we were told the part was unavailable. We needed a new furnace. They provided a quote. We were eager to have the work done. We were told the earliest installation would be over a week later. In the middle of a heatwave, with my husband working as a front line health professional during a pandemic, we desperately needed to have a working furnace so we could have AC and a comfortable home. I arranged two other quotes. Hargrave Heating had a competitive quote and did the installation the next day. The installers were excellent. They were professional. Brandon explained the operation of the thermostat, installing air filters, etc. They treated us and our home with respect. They tidied their work area so well. We are very pleased customers.

    AC, Furnace and Air Purifier Upgrade

    We just had our AC checked and serviced by another company and were told it would last through the season, and of course it dies during a recent heatwave. Quick call to Tim and the team at Hargrave and they had someone on site quickly to inspect and diagnose. The motor was gone (23 years) and it was time to replace. I asked that they check the furnace as well as it was 15+ years old and was making a sound like a sneaker in the dryer on start up. I made the call to replace both rather than take on a major repair and be worried it would break down next winter. Hargrave gave me 4 system options via a very helpful online tool that gave all the details including videos of each option. They then answered all my questions and lined up the installation. We also added an air purifier given wanted to up our air quality. We had a fantastic 3 man crew led by Antonio. They were knowledgeable, polite, treated the home like it was their own, got in and out quickly given it was a major undertaking and cleaned up after themselves. All in all some of the best customer service we have experienced in years. Have a new Carrier Infinity system that works beautifully and they even filled out the registration paperwork. Highly recommend this company and can see why they routinely win HomeStars and Carrier President awards.

    Furnace Service

    I can’t say enough about the service tech Steven. He was very courteous, always explained everything to me, and phoned multiple times to let me know about parts and when he was arriving. He even went over above to look at other things. I will definitely be signing up for a Maint service package with them in the future. Thanks, Dan
