I've had the pleasure to interact with Ash/newlyborn from Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning in regards to getting a new furnace. I've actually spoken to Ash several times before getting my furnace; once was when I needed a bit of assistance installing a Nest Thermostat in place of a proprietary carrier thermostat already installed when I first moved in. He also had come to troubleshoot some issues with my in-law's AC unit in the middle of a heatwave. And now, recently, he came to assist with my furnace. I had woken up one morning and it was frigid. I went down to my furnace and with some troubleshooting, it had to do something with the unit not being able to turned on due to some issue with the burner of some sort. I had called Ash and he immediately called me back when he had a chance. He immediately knew the issue and had sent me a Carrier service bulletin. Fortunately, my unit was on that service bulletin, but unfortunately, it was not within the serial numbers that had the warranty service extended for the issue. He had provided me some options, and decided to replace the furnace as it was over 16 years old at this point. I wasn't expecting him to come any time soon as it was extremely sudden and he had just come back from vacation, but he was able to get someone to come and install the furnace the very next day. That's incredible as I have a very pregnant wife as well as a toddler, so that saved us a ton of headaches. His team came in installed the furnace within around 4 hours. I didn't know better, I wouldn't have known someone had come into the house and installed a furnace; it was that clean! They removed all the old equipment, installed the new one, inspected a lot of piping an hosing and installed some replacements for me without me even asking. They were courteous, meticulous and extremely professional. Within ours, my wife and toddler were able to come back to a warm house and many, many headaches were prevented. Great service from Ash and his team at Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning. They definitely made me a customer for life and I will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know that requires any type of HVAC work. Thank you so much for your assistance and help!

Wow! Let's start by saying that I had an awesome experience with Ash and his team at Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning. Now, lets be honest - Anytime you call a contractor its not fun. Something is broken, you need help and you know your going to need to invite someone into your home just to charge you some money. Never a fun experience. Once in a while though, you DO find that one good contractor and I was fortunate enough to be recommended to Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning (Ash owner and operator). My 17 year old Amana/Goodman furnace decided to be fussy in the coldest week in 2022 winter. It shut off on me not once, not twice but a total of 4 times in one week. Finally the fourth time it just completely died, and this is when I knew I needed an expert. I got in touch with Fair Deal on a Sunday evening and he told me he would be by on Monday at 5. He messaged me before coming letting me know his status and arrived right on time. I think he spent roughly 2 hours total trying to diagnose my furnace, and was very clean and considerate of my home and family including my 5 month old daughter given its COVID. At the end of all of it, he was able to finally get my furnace back up and running but did suggest that it may be time to replace it given its age, and he actually wasn't able to pin point an exact root cause given how it was originally installed. So he gave no promises as to how long it would last. I had a brief chat with him about pricing and options if we got a new furnace and told him I need to discuss further with my wife. For the following week I messaged him a few more times with more questions and he was always quick and responsive, always no pressure just giving lots of friendly advice. After chatting with a few other places and getting other quotes I ultimately felt the most comfortable with Ash and decided to move forward and get a new furnace. I contacted him on Saturday to confirm everything and he was ready to go as soon as Monday, but I had to choose the next following Monday due to some work conflicts. The Friday before the install, Ash sent his crew (Raj and Loveprit I think is how you spell it) out to do one last assessment to make sure they got the lay of the land and they were basically in and out in 20 minutes. Monday they were bang on time and came when they said they would. They were super respectful of personal space, laid down lots of drop cloths and got straight to work. They were able to uninstall the original furnace and on the curb in good time. They then brought in the new furnace and in both instances were very careful moving the old furnace out and the new furnace in. The installation went smooth as butter. I regularly checked in to see how things were going, asked lots of questions and they were more then happy to chat. Let me look at everything, and I felt like they had nothing to hide. They upgraded my furnace from a single pipe to a two pipe installation. All in all they were in and out in roughly 4.5 to 5 hours including taking a break for lunch. They were as quiet as possible (they of course had to drill a hole in the wall and do lots of other things) but generally my 5 month old was just fine with having them around. Being a first time home owner, a new dad and being stuck with no heat in the middle of winter - I cant express how thankful I was with Ash never ever pressuring me in any way whatsoever. I honestly felt like I was always his number one priority, he was fast, responsive and most importantly respectful of all my questions (even my silly ones). I really felt like he was being honest through out and never detected any impatience. It was almost like I was talking to a friend. Its been 2 weeks since he left and my new furnace works beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend him, or use him again. In fact my wife and I were planning on getting a new HWT shortly and will be connecting with Ash and his company again. Thank you to Ash and team!

Our furnace went kaput a couple weeks ago during one of the coldest weeks of the year. We reached out to Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning and a couple other HVAC company for a quote. Ash of Fair Deal provided an estimate over the phone (very convenient), which was similar to quotes provided by others, but those companies tried to upsell us on stuff we didn't need. Because of the great reviews on RedFlagDeals, his knowledge and honest approach, we went with Ash and we made the right choice. Within a day, he had a crew over to install the new furnace, which was his recommended Napolean furnace. HIs crew was very clean and professional. During a follow-up visit, Ash checked on the work from his crew and replaced our humidifier, discovering that the old one was incorrectly installed by the builder almost 2 decades ago. As mentioned above, Ash appealed to us because of his honesty. This proved to be true after we had mistakenly over-paid him, forgetting that we had paid him an initial deposit. Ash called us right away to inform us of this over-payment and promptly e-transferred us the difference. What a guy! We will certainly call on Ash and his team when it comes time to service and/or replace any of our HVAC components. We've already started recommending him to friends and family should they need his services. Thanks, Ash!

I had an excellent experience at Fair Deal Heating and Cooling. I was in the market for a new furnace, AC, and tankless water heater. After reading some reviews I decided to give them a call. They were very pleasant to deal with and definitely honest people who work for the customer, not like others. The best example of this was when they saw my air conditioning unit, which was clearly in good shape, and gave me the advice not to change it. He didn't know that it was a rented unit, so I needed to change it anyway. But that interaction spoke to his honesty and integrity. Most other people would be thinking about $, and encouraging the customer to change the unit. The install itself went flawlessly, the team was very clean and worked hard. I was super happy with the install and as of right now, it has been a month without any issues. He has even checked in to make sure that everything is working well. To summarize, I am an extremely happy customer and I would HIGHLY recommend them. THANK YOU!

My furnace circuit board broke last weekend after a power outage. The furnace is about 12 years old and with the cost of a new circuit board and likely a new fan (it was on the verge of breaking too!), I started getting quotes for a new one. I gave Ash a call and he was great to work with. He provided an overview of the options and was clear and transparent with what he recommended. His quote was all-in and very competitive with no surprises. The other companies we got quotes from were generally higher or offered a lesser product. I confirmed with Ash on Wednesday night for the furnace and he was able to get a team in Friday. His team is very professional and honest with the questions I asked. I contacted Ash to inquire about installing a new hot water tank. He communicated with me over Whatsapp and answered all of the questions I had. The crew that installed my tank were quick, clean and friendly. They installed my new tank (including drill a hole for the exhaust pipe) and moved my old tank into the garage. I would recommend anyone looking for heating/air conditioning work to give him a call

Hello, I wanted to give my feedback for Ash and his company Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning. I hired Ash and his crew to replace my rental Reliance tank water heater (12 years old) with his recommended Rinnai RUR199iN tankless water heater after reading RFD threads and Ash's HomeStar reviews. I read top notch reviews regarding Ash and his team and I have to agree. Ash was very knowledgeable and I plan to call him again for any future needs regarding my home's HVAC. He was very reasonable in terms of pricing. Response time was excellent and his crew did a very good job. They were considerate, communicated clearly, and cleaned up well afterwards. As for the water heater itself, I am glad we converted to tankless but my one complaint is Rinnai's smart features. It appears there is poor support for Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings and they do not integrate well. As a result, I only use the Rinnai app which is pretty good. I run the recirculation right before I need hot water and it comes immediate afterwards. Overall, I had a very good experience and recommend Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning to all. Good luck!

My central A/C conked off on the first day of the heat wave in June. Following up on my previous experience with Fair Deal, I contacted Ash to replace the A/C as soon as possible. He managed to squeeze me in within 3 days. He installed a high quality, high efficiency Carrier central Air Conditioner with a new evaporator coil. The installation crew Raj and Luvi arrived on time. They had to install new brackets and mount for the larger A/C. The did everything professionally and on time. I am super happy with the quality of service. I am now recommending Fair Deal HVAC to all my friends that need furnace or A/C.

I found Fairdeal online and I sure feel lucky to have gone ahead with them for a few upgrades to my hvac system. They helped install a new owned water heater, and fixed a set of return air vents, with augmenting the return vent runs to join the main return ducting in the ceiling. I also had them install an insurance heat sensor and a sprinkler system in the furnace room. Let alone the price being very competitive, what amazed me most was that openness and approachability of Ash, and his crew that did the work. Along with the attention to detail. I had a lot of work done in my house since we moved but there was only a couple of people that I didnt have major complaints or had no concerns about. Fairdeal was one of them. To top it off they didn't even ask me to pay right away as Ash was busy on another project and he came by after letting me use the system for a good 2 weeks before coming over to let me pay the full amount. Who let's you do that these days. I've found my go to for all my hvac needs. Edit - this work was performed in Feb 2021 and we have had no complaints so far as the time of this review (June 2021). Ash still remains extremely helpful and answers right away any questions about hvac stuff. Keep it up guys!
