Reliability is the main issue when it comes to snow removal. In ten years with this company (same people, different name) we have seen many others operate on our street, and witness their ups and downs. While others might have faltered, these guys are consistent, through light and heavy winters they have always provided us with excellent service.

There is usually a vehicle in the laneway that I move after plow's first visit. Driver then does the other side on second visit after city plow does the street. Works well for me !

We can always count on Metro - they do at least three sweeps during a snowstorm. They are in touch with the city snow plows and follow them to clear out the mouth of our lane way- the worst part of any snowstorm as we all know. Metro is always in touch with us to let us know when they will be clearing our lane way. Could not ask for better service:)

So last year was my first experience with a snow plough company and I got it primarily because I moved into a bigger house and did not want to clear 2 driveways early AM (and I don't own a snow blower). So my logic was, let's see how my neighbours operate first. In my neighbourhood (Skyline -near baseline/merivale), I noticed that most of the houses sign up for snow ploughing. So I figured let's go with snow ploughing then and hold off on buying the blower for now. So the next step was to figure out which company to proceed with. Neighbourhood indicated that people went with one of the companies - either Metro or another one I can't recall the name. So it was a toss-up between Metro and this company X. You guys had good reviews and the 5cm to clear vs. 6cm with competition helped make up my mind. I was quite pleased with your overall service for 2017-2018, so much that I signed up as an early bird in 2018. My sincere hope is that Metro is able to maintain and evolve their service even more so in 2018. Your weekly newsletters/tidbits, updates during snowstorms are very much appreciated and I hope you keep up the trend. It is the lack of communication/not knowing that really negatively impacts customer experience - and that is not the case with Metro so far. If I have to point out to an area for improvement, it would be perhaps providing GPS tracking for the particular plough that would be clearing my driveway.

I have used Metro Snow Removal Services (previously known as Appleseed) for approx 5 years. Outside of one little glitch in the first year I have had no problems with this company. Our driveway is always cleared behind the car very early in the morning so we can get out to work. Driver returns later in the day to completely clear the driveway. A few times last Winter the SUV windows were all iced up and the driver waited patiently while we de-iced enough to move out into the street. Little gestures like this are appreciated. The first driver we had last year was not efficient and he was quickly replaced when the office was notified. The first snowstorm of the year poses a challenge for the drivers as they get organized but thereafter it seems to go well. I would recommend this company.

We have been receiving snow removal service for two years no,this will be our third year. The first year was not very good, missed clearing the driveway, not punctual. However the second year they were much better. We will see what the third year brings?

Excellent service, no complaint since I started using Metro Snow and Ice Management few years ago! Always on time. Great job. I will gladly recommend this company and also recommend the use of their extra services such as brining.

We have have Metro Snow and Ice for two winter seasons now and we are very satisfied. Good consistent service, good cleaning of snow plow dumps, and efficient. Two minor issues: 1. Sunday mornings - I work on Sunday mornings, and need a plowed driveway by 8:30 am that day. Not a day off for me. 2. De-icing - last year we subscribed to the brining program, and it happen to happen only twice rather than the season. We signed up again, going it will be significantly better (we had the small flag and everything).

We have been using Ken Dale and his team at Metro Snow and Ice for many years, and would strongly recommend them. Their snow removal service is first rate. Ken and his team know the meaning of customer service. They advise you of their plans for each snow event and review and revise and communicate their plans to you as the event occurs. They are also innovative in their field, but the main things, they are reliable, service oriented and affordable. Steve & Myrna Bookman

I have had this service for a number of years now. Over this period they have never failed to show up. They try to inform you when the tractor will show up but sometimes this is not received. The only issue with this is that I would use this information on when to go out and remove the snow from the front of my garage. They have always showed up which is what I contracted for and the notifications are a nice to have.
