    Main shut off valve replacement

    I can’t recommend Tornado plumbing enough. Sergei and his team are literally the best. Sergei always provides the best recommendations and gives you his honest opinion. He doesn’t over sell and gives you the best advice. I had to have my main valve change which was something we had discussed a while ago from another service I had hired him for. The shut off valve was old and had lead component. I knew from past experience that anytime I needed to turn it on or off, it would start leaking. There was also a lead pipe leading underground. I made the decision to change all the lead pipe as opposed to just changing the shut off valve because it would eventually need to be changed regardless. Sergei dug from the front of my house to the water valve in my basement with minimal interruptions to my tenants, and minimal mess. This speaks to his attention to detail. He goes over and beyond my expectations. Thank you Sergei and Tornado Plumbing.

    Main drain replacement...cast iron to abs

    I had an issue with a smell coming from my main drain in the basement, and after some investigation it looked like the cast iron had rusted open. I found Tornado plumbers on homestars, and after calling them, they were available to come by right away. They were very transparent with their prices, which are very good, and they were able to provide an initial quote based on pics I sent them of the area before they even came in. After coming over, Sergey and Bogdan observed the area, and with a camera tool were able to directly show me how much of the pipe should be replaced (approx 13 feet), and were able to start the job right away. They removed and replaced the pipe, half of which was in the ground all within one day. There was absolutely no mess afterwords, and the job was done seamlessly and with next to no disruption to my whole family which was in the house during the procedure. Sergey showed me the entire job using a scope camera once it was done and made sure I was happy with the job. I would definately use tornado again, and would definately recommend them. They are very personable, and extremely professional. Great job.

    Moved my drain in the basement

    Sergey did a fabulous job. Will use him again. He was very easy to work with and did a great job cleaning up when done. Everything about the job when very well.

    Sewer backup

    Top quality work, great price

    Serhiy and his crew gave great recommendations when quoting the project and during. They did a fantastic job installing all new drains in my basement (removing old clay pipe). They moved the drain pipe over to the wall which was tricky in a tight space, installed new floor drains and did the rough-in a three piece washroom. They also installed a sump pump and backwater valve and helped me figure out the rebates with they City. The work was done on time and on budget, exactly as promised. They were also the cheapest of three quotes I obtained. Would definitely recommend.

    Replacing sewage pipe and adding ventilation to toilet / shower.

    I had a massive sewage leak in my basement that required replacing the piping right out to the street. Then, my toilet wasn’t flushing because there was no vent so Serje and his team installed one in a day. Overall: they were so professional and hard working and responsive to my many questions. I can’t recommend them enough!

    Exterior Faucet Issues

    15 year old home. Have had issues with exterior faucets for years. YouTube/Home Depot staff advice had not helped Tornado took the job. Was excellent in communicating availability and was on time for the appointment. Solved the issue and provided education on how to monitor going forward. Didn't try to upsell. Right solution for the issue. Thanks so much

    Cast Iron Plumbing Stack Replacement

    I had a leak from the chase space that housed my old cast-iron plumbing stack. The biggest problem was that it was buried behind my furnace with very little space. I set up an appointment with Tornado Plumbing to take a look and give me a quote. The gentleman was very flexible to my schedule, spent time to determine the exact source of the problem, and discussed ways that could make the repair/replacement more affordable. The quote was very reasonable and to avoid extra costs in moving the furnace, they sent a smaller individual who was able to fit in the restricted space more easily. The repair was done efficiently and the guys cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

    Drain cleaning with high pressure water jetter

    Sergey and his coworker did a great job and were able to get my drain working again! I felt Sergey was very methodical in checking exactly which pipe was blocked, using a camera and a sensor to identify the exact location, accessing the pipe behind the drywall, and then using a snake and a high pressure water jetter to clear the pipe of the large build up. They cleaned up everything and really surpassed my expectations. In my opinion, from my interactions with them, I found them to be very straight forward, honest, very good at their jobs, and willing to go the extra mile to do what they have to do. There was even a complication involving a fixed shelving unit in my house that was blocking their access to the pipe, and they made no issue about disassembling it and then reassembling it and cleaning up after. I was very impressed at the level of service I received from them!

    Washroom Plumbing Installation

    This is the second washroom Serghiy and his team have installed at our home (first was a basement excavation job for drain/toilet installation). They are the best in their trade! From initial assessment to timely scheduling and completion of work, they far surpass expectations every time. Looking forward to his return for final installation of faucets and shower system.
