    New furnace

    What can I say? Professional, knowledgeable, excellent communication and customer service. Shows up when he says, is done when he says. In short - affordable and painless! You can't go wrong. I recommended him to my neighbour who was also extremely pleased with the quality of product and service.

    Furnace repair

    Professional, honest, fast, reasonable and reliable. I would recommend him to everyone in need of his service. Called him on Friday and he was at my property in 10 minutes.

    Furnace repair

    Fast, efficient, professional and honest . I’m a landlord and I own 12 dewling units, just found Brea and happy with his service. I would recommend him to everyone in Durham region.

    New Furnace Installation

    Came home from vacation to found the house was cold. My husband went to check the furnace and found it wasn't working. I checked the site Varage sale and found Brae. My husband called right away and made plans to come by the next day. Brae told him we needed a new furnace since it was an old one. we were not happy with that but things happen. Before deciding on the furnace my husband search around, but Brae pleasant personality and the fact he didn't try to up sale was what stood out for my husband. Every time he called Brae he was right there to answer. From there we knew he was very knowledgeable and honest with his work. So we decided to go with Brae and very Happy we did. Brae and his team did an Excellent job installing the new furnace. Brae took the time to explain to my husband the new furnace function. We would highly recommend Brae to anyone.

    Furnace Repair

    Our 10 year old furnace broke down unexpectedly, we thought we were going to have to buy new one which we weren't planning on doing anytime soon. We called Brae, and within 20 mins he was out at our home to diagnose the issue. Brae informed us that there was a class action lawsuit settled against our furnace manufacturer due to faulty heat exchangers. He quickly found out that our furnace qualified for this settlement and was able to replace our heat exchanger for far less than we thought we were going to spend. He could have easily told us our furnace needed to be replaced, but instead took the honey route and got us back up and running at a fraction of the cost! He also encountered an unrelated issue and fixed it at no additional cost!! I wouldn't hesistste to recommend Brae to anyone in need of HVAC services. Brae is honest,knowledgeable, and extremely professional! He will be our go to HVAC guy for any future services! Thanks again Brae!

    Furnace and AC

    Brae has been helping us with our furnace and AC for almost ten years. Despite the fact that we have had to call him at least a few times on the weekend or on a holiday, he has always come to our aid promptly and without complaint. The quality of his work makes it clear that he is very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. Brae always explains the issue and his recommendation while being honest about what is needed versus what is optional. He recently replaced our furnace and AC and after he and his team were done, the areas they worked in were spotless. We couldn’t be happier with everything Brae has done for us over the years and highly recommend him!

    furnace install

    Inherited a Clare Hecla furnace estimated to be 45 yrs old and Brae initially did a repair mid-January but, after another issue popped up knocking out my furnace in minus 35 degree temps, I decided to buy a furnace through Brae (installed). Brae showed up the next day and had the furnace installed in a very reasonable amount of time and were very professional from the time they showed up and put down drop sheets protecting the flooring from the dolly needed to bring in the new furnace and take out the old to cleaning any mess they made during install. Bottom line, Brae will be the only person I will call for future heating and air conditioner needs.

    Second opinion on furnace repair

    I contacted Brae for a second opinion on my furnace after I was told by another furnace repair company that the furnace heat exchanger was cracked and it would cost anywhere from $1200-$1500. It was the coldest day when the furnace started having problems. Found a company on homestars who had a very high rating. When I spoke to the technician over the phone and described the problem he thought it was the heat exchanger but said will confirm once he saw the furnace. He pulled the carbon monoxide detector and said the meter reading was showing 28 ppm and mentioned that it very high and therefore red tagged it and shutoff the furnace and said he would come back in n the morning after seeing where he could find the part as it was a Sunday and most likely had to wait until Monday. Mind you it was -24C temp alone. I couldn't sleep all-night due to this as the furnace was just 4 years old and couldn't understand how a furnace could break down so fast. After talking to a friend he advised to call the company who installed my furnace. I saw the sticker on the furnace and called Brae. He came within couple hours and clarified that he installed the thermostat and not the furnace. After he opened the furnace he didn't find anything wrong with the furnace and all it was either the filter was all clogged up or the intake outside the house had some pots close to the intake that may be blocking. But he thought it was most likely the filter. Brae was very thorough in his inspection and checked everything. He wanted to be absolutely sure that there was no problem with the CO reading and asked me to see if I could contact the first technician and if I could arrange for a conference call. When we got on the call the first technician said his meter reading was high therefore shutoff the furnace even without opening it and checking the heat exchanger. Brae asked the other technician to come back and check the CO reading again. Upon checking the detector it was deleted that the detector was faulty. I was upset with the other guy as he shutoff the heat and red tagged without even checking the furnace or even the filter check basic diagnosis. I was so relieved that it wasn't the furnace and didn't have to spend $1500 (just repair cost) and also the heat was back on during a very cold spell. I like to thank Brae for his knowledge, his professionalism, honesty. And most importantly I very impressed with the way he handled the situation with the first technician. It's people like Brae who keep honestly alive. Thanks, PA

    Furnace Issue

    Had an issue with my furnace, Brae investigated and gave me options, I selected getting a new furnace and they installed it professionally and in a clean manner, Brae is a straight shooter, He won’t sugar coat it, he will provide honest information and allow you to make the decision, I will go out of my way to recommend him, give him a try and you won’t regret it!!

    awesome and amazing

    Fell asleep 10:00 p.m. new year's eve 2017/2018 and woke up 5:30 a.m. new years morning to a cold house with a non-working furnace. I did not think that I would even be able to reach a human being, much less anyone who would come out on a holiday morning. After searching the net and phoning around, I lucked out on Brae. He answered the phone on the first ring at 7:30 a.m. and told me he would be there between 9:00 - 10:00. He knocked on the door promptly at 9:00 a.m. and found the problem immediately -- a spider web in an air hose. He could easily have told me that there was a major failure or could easily have charged me double for a holiday call -- but he didn't. Finding Brae was like finding a rescue angel. Do not hesitate to call him for any HVAC need. I won't. (Marvin 289 240 3402 -- a real customer.)
