I hired Capital Comfort to replace 9 windows in our house. I had hired them a few years before for a different job and was satisfied, so had no reason to expect any different. They took measurements, gave an estimate and then nothing. After months of silence I grew increasingly worried. I kept calling and calling. Mostly I had no response. When someone did answer, I kept getting the run around, getting a vague date for installation. Its been over a year and nothing except aggravation. They took my deposit but I have no confidence the company will ever install a new window in my home. The lack of transparency, dishonesty and overall unprofessionalism mean this company is to be avoided at all costs!

Work was never completed, they disappear with down payment and never come back. Be aware, this company has affected many customers in the Ottawa area. Just check the negative reviews on the web.

This company took my Mother in law for a fool, we had to have another company pick up door and install and he refuses to call us back or give us deposit back. I have left multiple message and emails and have not heard back. Previous employees have called us telling us exactly what the owner Alex was doing and telling customers to sue him to get the get their money.

Quality of windows is not what I had been pitched. Told I would able to qualify for an Energy Rebate once windows were installed & they did not qualify! Quality of Interior finishing (ie. Trim & etc) could defiantly be improved Master bedroom window was ordered wrong (smaller by 16") & it has been almost 14 months from this post since I ordered the windows, almost 9+ Months since all the windows were installed & STILL I do not have a finished Master bedroom window! They temp installed the wrong one & are hoping I just stop bothering them YET I paid for it to be finished & Installed PROPERLY!!!!! The Owner Alex has TERRIBLE Communication & lets his secretary run the show & she doesnt have the slightest clue as to whats going on or what orders are in, they pretty much dump everything on the installers which are great guys!

The team at CWD was very respectful and very clean. I was MORE than happy with the results and have recommended them to my family and friends! Great guys. even better results.

I am very pleased with the results of the installation of my windows and doors. The workers were very kind and polite. Not to mention, extremely efficient with their job.

We needed a new kitchen window and side door. The door was to replace the existing one plus the storm door. The front door also needed to be fitted properly, as it had not been installed well (by another company). The guys were friendly, professional, fast and tidy. I have recommended them to lots of friends, for any future projects.
