    Apartment move

    The movers were kind and professional. They were able to move my furniture with minimal disassembly and my belongings arrived intact. They helped my move go very smoothly. Thank you for your service!

    Outstanding service!

    I knew my move would be a challenge as I am in no way a minimalist. I have A LOT of EVERYTHING so the thought of moving it completely overwhelmed me as I knew this would be an all day job AT MINIMUM. I cannot recommend Metropolitan Movers highly enough. To say Ivan and Daniel's service was excellent is an understatement; they moved my belongings at top speed. My move took a whole day but I know it would have taken weeks if it weren't for their help. I really appreciate how comfortable and at ease they made me feel since I was very nervous about strangers handling my things; they were so polite, pleasant and professional (the best 3 P's you can/should have in business). They worked tirelessly to get everything to my new home. If you're looking for a moving company to get all of your things from point A to point B efficiently while your mind is at ease, this is the one. Thank you again, guys.

    Movers

    The boys took excellent care with my goods. They wrapped what needed to be wrapped They were very time efficient and went over and above the requested. I will recommend them highly

    Moving conpany.

    Moving is stressful at the best of times. Our movers were prompt, calm, reassuring and worked so diligently from start to end. They were polite, professional and nice, all the while working steadily and never stopping. They made the move happen so efficiently and completely. Every item in tip top shape.     Local moving company

    We hired Metropolitan for a move within Ottawa. We took there offer to add a third mover to expide the move. All movers were personable and carried a conversation when circumstances permitted. Move was complete in 2.5 hours. Very happy!

    Movers

    I was initially worried about hiring a company, I had no reference for. However they were very professional and helpful in many ways. so much so I tipped them for their extra efforts. I moved from Ottawa to Kingston with many fragile goods and not a scratch or break on any of my belongings. Thank you to the movers and the company for answering all my questions and helping make my move much less stressful.

    We won’t use anyone else

    This is the 2nd time we’ve used this company to move and it’s the 2nd time we were blown away by the amazing service. The guys arrived right on time, they were professional, courteous, and super efficient. They worked fast and got us moved a lot quicker than we expected. We had a lot of stuff and weren’t sure if they’d be able to fit it all in the truck but they packed it so well they had room to spare so they loaded up the things we thought we’d have to move ourselves. Moving day was a day we were dreading but Klein, Kim, and Trevor couldn’t have made it go any smoother. The next time we have to move we’ll be calling Metropolitan again!

    Professional and caring

    Mark and his assistant came to pack and prepare my belongings for the move only at this time. They will be moving my belongings into storage next week from what I saw today I am confident that they will do professional and courteous service. I will be using them again for my final destination to bring my belongings out of storage when I buy a house.

    Very satisfied

    It was my first time using any moving company. I was moving from West Vancouver, BC to Port Moody. I was pleasantly surprised. The two gentlemen were SUPER nice and efficient - they finished within 3 hours. Mind you I don't have many belongings, but still. I am going to move again, I hope to see the same two men that helped me. I wish I knew their names. The company is so worth the fee. They schedule in advance, update you etc. I am so happy with the service.

    AVOID

    The absolute worst movers in Saskatoon. Attempted to move up the booked date to move out of my place. I couldn’t do that. On my scheduled move date the truck arrived over 8 hours late at 10pm. The manager wouldn’t return my calls and would have his young employees return a few calls saying they aren’t working anymore today. A truck eventually showed up. My father and I had to move boxes out ourselves. The truck could only take half of my stuff and then I’m told they can’t store any of my things. I had to find a storage unit, rent a Uhaul to remove the rest of my things and then finally get that first shipment dropped off at the storage unit I found. I was still charged full price even though I did all the work. I cannot express how much of a nightmare this company is and quickly cancelled the scheduled move into my new house. I just did the move myself instead of paying these people to then have to move myself anyway. AVOID!! PS. Received a message from the moving coordinator/manager stating that this move isn't his problem and yet he is the only contact I had.
