Landscape construction
Ryan and Matt did a phenomenal job transforming my back and side yard into a work of art. Not only was the end product better than envisioned but they were friendly with excellent communication, they also left the site clean and safe at the end of every day. Will definitely use them again for my next project.

Backyard patio and walkway to front with gardens
We couldn’t be more pleased with the work Ryan and Matt did in our yard. We had pretty bad drainage issues and the guys layed drainage piping around the entire perimeter of the yard and tied in all our downspouts to rectify the issue. Ryan’s design ideas were great and he really helped us get the price to a number we were comfortable with but still more than satisfied with what we were getting. The patio and walkway look amazing and the prep work the guys do before they lay the pavers is second to none. Our gardens are beautiful and all the trees and plants were selected and planted with very little direction. It was all them. Ryan and Matt work very hard and clean up every night before they leave. (No complaints from neighbours). The communication between us and the guys was great (no middle man to deal with) Ryan and Matt do all the work. We are really excited to enjoy our new yard and look forward to working with Ryan and Matt again in the future. Thanks guys!

Patio and retaining wall
Ryan and Matt did an amazing job and exceeded our expectations. They were punctual, honest and just overall nice guys. I think the thing that stood out the most to me was their honesty. During the estimation, Ryan had come up with a number of options and suggested with going with the most cost-effective approach as he felt the more costly ones would not be worth it to me as a homeowner. There was a change to the design that was required and Ryan was trying to figure out a way to adjust for this without spending any more money. I also found their quality of work to be better than I was expecting. On occasion, I would look through the window and see what they were doing. I caught them making the most minor adjustments to ensure the interlocking fit correctly even though I thought it looked good without the adjustments. So, that was nice to see how meticulous they were. I will definitely be calling them back if we need work done again!

Backyard landscaping
We are so pleased with the work Land Escapes Durham did on this project!! Their price was excellent, they started the job when promised, worked steadily on the project and finished when they said they would. We even added a couple of extras along the way and they happily complied. They are extremely skilled at their craft and everyday they left our yard tidy. The design was all theirs ... consulting us about preferences.....we love it! They stone product they used from Unilock compliments the brick work of our house. It is very modern look with a wide range of complimentary stones. Unilock is the way to go for sure!! Land Escapes Durham were very considerate of our neighbors, inconveniencing others as little as possible and always making time to explain the project along the way. Their professionalism, attention to detail, excellent customer service is the reason I would happily recommend them for your project. Our backyard is now our happy place....we find ourselves out there each day....just relaxing and breathing and enjoying the wonderful change. It was an easy project!! I love my Patio!
Matt and Ryan were tasked with relaying our flagstone patio which had heaved and sunk. The steps from the house onto the patio was too steep. Matt and Ryan lifted each flag stone and relaid making sure each stone was was level and straight. The old step was replaced with graduating steps which are safer and look smarter. Matt and Ryan were punctual. They worked quickly getting the job finished on time. The yard was kept as neat as possible. They cleaned up the worksite when finished. Thanks Matt and Ryan I love the patio and steps.

Front Walkway Replacement & Drainage Solution
Matt and Ryan were a pleasure to deal with. They made the job easy for me - supplying quotes, ideas, samples in a timely fashion. They got the job done when, and as promised; the worksite was kept clean and orderly, and the final product looked great. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Matt and Ryan of Land Escapes Durham were amazing!! The finished design was exactly what we were expecting - it was done on time, on budget and the quality of their work was impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.

Bricking Basement walls
The boys came by, priced the job, were flexible on the price. They began as said - when they said they would. Communicated all the way meeting every commitment. Did an amazing job, cleaned thoroughly and split. They turned a big messy job into a quick manageable project. Highly recommend.
