    Front yard project

    We are very pleased with the work done by Ryan and Matt. We appreciate their design help and their punctuality and the quality of their work. They were very good at cleaning up each night. They went above and beyond in their service and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

    Front of house interlock, paving and garden design

    Very professional, prompt and finished project on time. Results are higher than my expectations. Has added BIG value to our home and looks so great!!! This company delivers! They are organized, highly skilled at their trade and really nice people! Call them when you want to add curb appeal to your home!

    Back yard patio and Front Entrance

    Our introduction to Ryan was when he was hired to design and complete a back patio for us. This was prior to his starting Land Escapes Durham. He worked mostly evenings and Saturdays and always respected the hours so as not to interfere with our neighbours and our own peace and quiet. Ryan always kept us informed as to when he would be available for work, showed up on time and worked long hours to complete the job. He added some extra stone work that we had not discussed in our initial plan because he felt it added a nice feature to the end result. We were very pleased with this feature. As a result of this work, we invited Ryan and Matt to do our front entrance in August of 2017. That job is now complete. We are thrilled with the results. Once again, they were always on time, cleaned up at he end of each day and did an excellent job. Even our neighbours commented on their promptness and attention to detail. We were completely satisfied with the end results of both jobs and have no hesitancy in recommending Land Escapes Durham to others.

    Landscape for side yard with riverstone and interlock repair of front steps and landing

    Very satisfied with the quality of work completed. Great response from consulting on what I wanted accomplished, to providing options, issuing a quote and follow through with a contract showing both start and completion dates. Everything went smoothly, work done efficiently and end result was impressive. Even accommodated 3 dogs in the mix! I recommended Ryan to my neighbours and hope this team continues to do well. I am enjoying my low maintenance solution and receive ongoing compliments on the overall look.

    Interlock driveway

    We were happy with Land Escapes from start to finish. Matt came and spent time with us, figured out what our wants and needs were. His professional landscape blueprints that he did helped us visualize what the finished product was going to look like. We loved his creative design. The work started and ended right on schedule. Matt and Ryan worked LONG days to get the job done quickly. The work site was always clean and tidy; so much so even our neibour commented on it! We couldn't be happier with the final result. We definitely will be calling this company again for future projects! Sorry for the sideways pic!

    Landscaping

    We hireed Land Escapes Durham to replace the builder stairs in front of our house with stone and natural rock and to run soldiering stone on both sides of our driveway. Matt was very helpful in helping us to design the new look and picking out colours that would compliment our house. The contract negotiation and payment terms were handled in a very professional manner. The work itself began on time and finished ahead of schedule. Both Matt and Ryan were extremely professional in completing the work and cleaning up the work area at the end of each day. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

    Walkway

    Matt and Ryan from Land Escape Durham recently installed a walkway along one side of my house. This side of my house is adjacent to a park so is clearly visible to anyone in the park so I wanted something nice. I'm so happy I choose Land Escapes Durham as they did an outstanding job! Matt came out for the initial quote and then worked with me to make some adjustments and select a stone type. He made a couple of suggestions about placement and overall look and he was bang on, the final product looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. It is clearly evident that both Matt and Ryan truly take pride in their work. I'm already planning my next project and will definitely use Land Escapes Durham again. Thank you Matt and Ryan!

    Backyard Oasis.

    After having Land Escapes Durham design and construct our front walkway last year, we wanted to put a cedar deck on the back of our house this spring. Matt visited our property, provided a detailed drawing and quotation and we decided to go ahead. And are we glad that we chose them!! The quality of Matt and Ryan’s work is exceptional. They treat every job as if they were doing it at their own homes and expect every aspect to be done with precision and to their own high expectations. They were open to any, and all, additions and suggestions that we made along the way and used some techniques that made the deck even more outstanding. One of these was a special nailing system so that you don’t see any nail heads on the surface of the 16 x 30 foot deck. Like with our front walkway, at the end of every day, the work site was left spotlessly clean and when the job was completed you would never have known that construction had just taken place.

    Landscaping - front yard

    Outstanding Job!! We’d like to give a huge thank you to Matt & Ryan for doing such a spectacular job on our front walk and driveway. It’s beyond what we ever imagined. From start to finish they were professional, courteous and thorough. Matt & Ryan presented us with a design concept and recommended particular products that they felt would be suited, but left the final choices up to us. They also encouraged us to make any suggestions as to additions or changes that we would like to make. They were at the site promptly each morning, anxious to put in another long day of hard work. At the end of every day, the property was left spotless which we were very appreciative of, and greatly impressed by. Their quality of workmanship and attention to detail is far superior to anything that we’ve seen before. We would highly recommend Land Escapes Durham for anyone's landscaping needs.
