    Surprisingly Poor Service

    Terrible customer experience. It took three visits, a month and a thousand bucks to make two repairs (dryer and dishwasher). Tech didn't clean up and left parts scattered across area. Want to speak to a manager? Good luck - completely unresponsive. You become a hostage to them. Avoid MAX Appliance Repair like COVID. Brutal!

    Great service

    My washing mashing wasn’t draining. I thought it might me clogged with a piece of clothes and tried turning it on over and over, but had no luck. Found Max Appliance online, called them and scheduled an appointment. The technician came on time. He tested the machine, then removed the panel and tested the pump directly. Nothing was clogged, but drain pump was malfunctioning. Luckily, he managed to find a place to buy the new pump and next day he came back to replace it. Very pleased with the service. Max, the technician was very professional, punctual and polite. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

    Unresponsive and Unprofessional

    They came out to replace our dishwasher motor and it broke again a month later. They stated on the phone that they would send someone out in 3-5 days. One month and several calls later the finally came out. They told us the part was under warranty and all we would have to pay for is labor to replace it. The informed us that the part was on back order and would contact us when it came in. Two and a half month after that and several calls later they inform us there was no record of the visit in July and our warranty had ran out. They told us there was nothing they could do. Truly disappointing and awful service from the repair technician in Waterloo. Do no use very shady and unprofessional.

    HORRIBLE

    I have been trying to get my fridge fixed since July. It is still not fixed. I called last week to have a manager call me and no one did. Today I spoke with Alex and asked the same and was told that the manager doesn't want to call me and too bad. This is absolutely horrible customer service and i am asking again that a manager call me. NO one should use your service if this is how you treat your clients.

    LG Washer Repair

    Great company! Our repair technician (Oleg Shymon) was very knowledgeable and conducted the work professionally. They stood buy their work and came back to fix minor issues. I highly recommend their services.

    Dryer repair in Milton

    Terrible work and service . I scheduled an appointment to fix my dryer in Milton from 5pm to 7pm . However, the technician called and wanted come in the morning because he didn’t want to work too late. I had to take half a day off and accommodated his request. However , the technician is fully unqualified , firstly he caused a short circuit when used the multi-meter. Then he spent almost two hours to remove every part of dryer but still couldn’t find the problem. Finally said it may be a motor issue. The cost will be $165 for a new motor plus $285 labor cost. I believe he didn't find the root cause and just picked a most expensive parts to replace. I didn't trust him and cancelled the service. The next day I hired another technician from the different company . He just took a few minutes to fix it without any parts replacement . it is just a loose in the time controller which cause dryer not startup . It was very disappointed with Max Appliance Repair and absolutely not recommend.

    Stove Repaire

    The stove was completely "black" - nothing turned on. I phoned them this morning, they arrived just before 2 and left just before 3. All was working. The team was efficient and very polite. I could not ask for more. I will definitely use them again. Great Service!!

    Washer and Dryer Repair

    We called them to repair a washer and dryer in March, they charged us in full prior to actually completing the repair or having the parts to use, which happened a full month later. There was never an apology for our inconvenience, no explanation why it was taking so long and when I called to speak with a manager, no one ever called me back...the best I got was a dispatch who would pass on the message and couldn't help resolve the problem. When asked to come back to repair one of those appliances, they blatantly told me my 3 month warranty was no longer in effect even though it's only been 2 months since the actual repairs were done. The customer service is terrible and the work is even worse!! I gave them many times to redeem themselves since March but seems they don't care about their customers enough to do so.

    I just added $90+ to having to replace the washer anyway

    The technician took less than a minute to say “the drum was broken and would cost me as much as a new machine to replace, so go ahead and buy a new one.” I wish we could have simply determined that over the phone with a FaceTime call for a $10 consultation fee to save his time, gas and effort to come to me. Now I must buy a new washer AND add $92 to the pain of it all. Obviously feel bad about the whole experience.

    Terrible

    Terrible. My washing machine was not working. They sent over the technician ( a term I use loosely). He told me I needed towels. I told him that this was a rental unit, and I couldnt just take the renters towels. He told me then there would be a big mess. I went and bought towels. He was constantly on the phone, and I could hear him watching YouTube videos of how to repair the machine, and calling someone for instructions. He thought it was the control board, and said he had to come back with the part. I was in this far, so I agreed. He came back and failed to repair it. He suggested that I need to buy a new laundry centre. Instead I called a new technician. The new tech told me the previous MAX Appliance repairman had broken the door lock, failed to reinstall the panel correctly, incorrectly replace the old control panel, and as a result he cou;ldnt even assess the problem. What a waste of time and money. I paid 80$ to a guy to destroy my washing machine. DO NOT CALL MAX APPLIANCE
