Basement renovation
Basement Reno. All staff and trades were fantastic. Very personable and pleasant to deal with. All tasks were completed on time. Extra kudos to project manager Mike and designer Ludmila. Great job to all!

Basment apartment finishing
We were searching on the internet for a contractor to finish our basement, and we came across Capable Group. We met with Yan, and we liked his approach to our ideas on the basement, and his suggestions to our overall design and so we decided to go with them. We are so pleased to say that they exceeded our expectations with their quality workmanship from all their team members. Starting with Yan’s guidance, efficiency and accuracy with great ideas and solutions to our project. Michael, the project manager was very helpful, coordinating all the team members and communicating changes and progress of the project with us, scheduling and managing all changes as required in a timely and efficient manner. David, and his landscape team who worked long hours to dig and make a door for us, and cleaned afterwards. They created an outstanding interlock walkway to the basement entrance! Ludmila, the interior designer, was very knowledgeable with materials and suggestions to address changes to our space. The lighting guys also had great suggestions on where to place pot lights throughout the basement. Last but not least, Alex and his plumbing crew, were very professional and helpful. We would confidently and highly recommend Capable Group Consulting Inc. for any construction or remodelling projects as they provided us with excellent service and quality workmanship. We truly love our basement, we couldn’t have done this great space without them. 10/10 experience.

Basement renovation
Our project included complete demolition and renovation of the basement. The work flow was organized very well - we did see solid constant flow of work and did feel renovation team desire to complete work in basement as promised; - we did like the quality of the work from all trades including inspections for basement leaks, changing vents and water pipes; - we consider painting, baseboard caulking, all last touches... as most visible and defining of final results - they must be highest quality - we got what we expected, although we do understand that quality of final look was contributed by each stage in the project; - we liked that all workers actually were responsible for their work – we appreciate how they all provided practical suggestions and explanations to their approaches; - we liked that all trades were taking care about work place - they respected our house, they were cleaning at the end of each working day - thanks to All for this! including demolition team, they were working during terrible weather and left out place almost sparkling. During whole project we were well informed about next steps in the project – thanks to PM Michael. We DO recommend this team for any project in in the house and we definitely will call them back for our future projects.

Basement finishing and main floor renovation
I’m very satisfied with the overall work. Very efficient and attention to details was evident. The project was completed ahead of time. Our family is very happy and excited with the completed project. From the very beginning, Yan was very good and precise with his quotation. Michael the project manager was very good facilitating the trades people involved and excellent suggestions with the construction. Ludmila was very helpful with the design of the project and made good suggestions. Overall, I would recommend Capable Group to family and friends if they have any renovation projects in mind. Full basement Reno and main level stairs
First off I have to say the way Yan and Michael run their business is top notch, from the initial consultation, to the design with sveltlana and the many check ins throughout the whole process. We are a young family with a newborn and every contractor that came in here was respectful and kind. I can honestly say they made this whole process comfortable and seamless every step of the way. Now a days customer service seems to always be put on the back burner and these guys make it a number one priority. They take pride in every piece of the project and their work is amazing. Our basement and our stairs turned out much better then we could have ever imagined. Michael, Yan, svetlana and crew thank you for being patient with our many request and changes and most importantly for treating us like family A+++++++ Paul, Alison and family ;)

Legal basement secondary unit
We wanted to add a legal basement apartment to our home, however the 1st contractor we hired ended up scamming us out of thousands of dollars. Fortunately we found Capable-guys to complete and finish our unit. Not only are these guys very professional, meticulous, perfectionist, they’re also very understanding of what happened and they went above and beyond what is needed to get the job done and to up to all city codes and requirements. All of the trades people they brought in were highly skilled and offered superb expertise. From the Framer, drywaller/painter, window installer, plumber, tile setter, Hvac and electrician, all were very quick and efficient at their field of work. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and the customer service after job is complete is truly exceptional. We are very pleased and grateful knowing the apartment is done right which is a must if u want your home/investment property, tenant and family properly protected. We would highly recommend Capable-guys to all our friends and colleagues. Thank u, Yan and Michael for a job Well done!!! We couldn’t be more happier and will definitely work with u guys for the rest of our future projects. A++++ Very satisfied clients.

Basement Renovation
The work involved fixing some cracks in the foundation, framing the entire basement (except furnace room and rough-in bathroom), insulation, soundproof ceiling, drywall, mudding, sanding, painting, moving the water heater. The work also included a kitchenette, bathroom with ample shower, relocating the laundry area and concerting 1 cold room into a closet. There were a few issues with miscommunication and/or lack of communication, and some aspects of the work took a bit longer than was estimated, granted it was during Christmas and very cold weather, so sanding and painting was delayed. Overall, it took just over 6 weeks, but in the end the work was generally well done and does look great!

As organized as we are, at times, we may encounter some unplanned minor delays, while doing your project- extreme cold weather, that resulted in lower temperatures in the basement as well as higher humidity levels, which made the mudding of the walls dry longer than usual, which resulted in a few extra days added to the project. Plus we worked around Christmas and New Years , so there were a few days of there as well. Overall we believe that the quality of the product that we have delivered is superior and as promised. We enjoyed working with you and your family, and will be happy to help any of your friends and/or colleges that you may refer to us :). Cheers!

Basement Renovation
It was an incredible experience right from Day 1. Mike the project manager was spot on and had the entire project completely orangizesd and on time. The workmanship was perfect!! I was amazed how smooth it went. 5 Stars

Basement renovation
I was extremely happy with the service and finished product from this company. My basement turned out a lot better than what I expected!! From the floors, to the walls and even the finishing touches. I’m really happy I found these guys!! Mike and Yan were a pleasure to work with. They made sure my basement would be done on a certain deadline. They were well organized, caring, patient and most importantly, they made sure that the job was going to be done right!! I’d highly recommend this company to anyone who’s looking to do their basement
