Love and enjoy our Kitchen!
There was no doubt after they finished our basement that we would have Capable Group back for our full kitchen renovations. As with previous jobs, every aspect ran super efficiently like clockwork, and the renovations completed in the established time frame and budget. We are thankful to Yan and Ludmila for their high knowledge, experience and leadership. As well from the plumber to the electrician, etc., all worked with professionalism and precision, thereby handing us over a beautiful, functional top-notch made kitchen as per our own vision, as well as Ludmilas expert design. Also we appreciate that the team always kept the lines of communication open; listening and responding promptly, and always with patience and honesty. We know were in good hands with Capable group therefore they are our go to contractor for all our home renovations.

Basement Renovation
Did a basement renovation with Yan and the team. They did an amazing job! Professional all the way though kept the job site clean and done with precision. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home!

100 year old basement renovation
The Capable Group did a wonderful job renovating our 100 year old basement! All of the workers sent to my home were competent in their trades and professional to deal with. The project manager and site supervisor were responsive to questions and very helpful. What started out as a basement refinishing project ended up requiring some underpinning, waterproofing and structural reinforcement. The Capable Group team was able to handle the expanded scope and completed the job within the agreed to budget!

Basement Renovation
Our experience with Capable Group Inc. was a very positive one. We had our basement renovated over the course of three months, and from day one we were treated with utmost respect. Yan, the head of the company, was forthcoming about cost and expectation. We had taken multiple quotes for this project and he was more than willing to provide competitive pricing with additional benefits that catered to our desires for the renovation. Once the work started, we were met with workers who were always respectful and considerate. They showed great work ethic and skill. The project as a whole was not without its hiccups but they were dealt with in a professional manner, and with fair efficiency. Overall, we are extremely happy with the result of our investment with this company, and thank them for their hard work. Basement Renovation
Basement was old and stuck in the 70s. Capable group helped modernize the space for a more useable and family oriented environment. Great interaction with the project coordinator during the design phase. Timelines were pretty accurate and team was more than willing to accomodate inquires along the project path. End product was more than expected. Great job by the Capable Team.

Complete Basement renovation with walk out
Love my basement , Capable completed this project the end of 2022, I was very happy with their work , their professionalism, and their prompt attention to my concerns and questions. . I cant speak highly enough about Ludmila my project manager . She always took the time to explain things to me that I had absolutely no knowledge of. Always kind, and patient, she always followed through , definitely a woman of integrity. Thats how I feel about the company; they are honest and demonstrate the meaning of integrity. Because I was so impressed with this company I had them do my ensuite along with some other work upstairs last year. Again nothing but positive feedback from my part . Thank you Capable especially Ludmila for providing a great service in every possible way

Basement Renovation
We had a basement that was dated and had no storage. Capable Group Inc. came in and with their professional group of workers changed our basement into a modern and functional basement. The best part...there is so much storage space. The Capable Group Inc. team (Estimator, Designer, Construcrion Manager, as well as the labour workers) were friendly and approachable. We love our basement and have recommended Capable Group Inc. to others.

Work is great, but the project was a nightmare
The Capable Group renovated two bathrooms and replaced our basement ceiling. We are unable to recommend them, even though the work does look great. There was such a lack of coordination that we had to double-check everything. The trades kept asking us what they were supposed to do. The project manager was a no-show all the time. We ran into so many issues with the project manager and the trades, it's hard to keep track. The plumber installed the bathtub faucet too close to the wall, such that it could only open on one side (hot water) and not on the other (cold water). When asked how he could not notice that, the plumber told us he didn't think we needed cold water to take a bath. He did move it, but hecouldn't move it that much at that point, as he had to conceal the holes made in the floor the first time. The faucet works now but is still uncomfortably too close to the wall. The electrician had to come 5 times to reinstall our sauna, he could never get it right the first time. He pretended the sauna must not have been working before the renovations. After a fifth visit, he managed to get it to work properly. The sauna was wroking just fine before the rneovations. The project manager failed to check the measurements for the cabinets, and as a result, one of the doors opened in the toilet and could not fully open. When we brought it up, she blamed us for not checking measurements, as if it were our job to do that. We had to take it up to management to get the issue resolved. Not to mention that she made us buy twice too much flooring for the staircase, even after we asked her to double-check measurements. She told us to return the extra and couldn't care less about the fact that we actually couldn't return it (which is precisely why we had asked her to double-check beforehand). Save yourself the headache, hire someone else. This company never admits its mistakes and customer service is poor.

Work is good, dealing with the company is not
I want to be clear that the *work* done in our basement is fine. All the contractors and sub-contractors did good work and we're ultimately pleased with the final result. But getting there was challenging. There were multiple issues with the work along the way and we had a project manager who was very unresponsive, and a site supervisor who we didn't know existed until the problems started popping up. When we tried, on multiple occasions, to escalate the issues to the office there was never any response. Not so much as an acknowledgment. Very dissatisfied with the process and dealing with the company. It sure seems like if they're not putting your project on their Instagram account, they just don't care. So better make sure you're doing a movie theatre or a Koi pond or something to get their attention. Otherwise, I cannot recommend. EDIT: That response seems pretty insincere considering, as I mentioned, I made several attempts at contacting the office and never got a reply. You know who I am and you know how to contact me. If you're serious about "making it right" you can reach out.
