Paid the diagnostic fee, said cost to replace the sensor would be around $500 and could come the next day. Didn't come for 2 days and when I finally go through to someone, they said that the technician was wrong is was the compressor for >$1500.

The guy showed up on time Thursday afternoon, but did not know any more about a dishwasher that I did. He left the unit half apart in the middle of the kitchen and said he would be back with a new discharge pump and not charge any more labor to put it in. He did no tests to determine that it would fix the issue. We paid him almost 300 bucks. I texted and asked for price and delivery of the part. Late Friday afternoon he responded that he did not know the price or delivery yet, and would get back to us Monday. On Monday at 5:30 pm, he reported that the part would be "about 200$ plus shipping". No mention of how much shipping would be nor when we could get it installed. He did nothing but leave a disassembled dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen.

I came to know about "Appliance Repair Expert" from internet, and decided to call them to fix my washing machine. On July 01, 2024, their technician namely, Enim came to our house to look at the situation of my Washing Machine. Enim fixed the problem and charged me total $ 293 (including tax). It may be mentioned that before he started his work, he didnt confirm the cost which I need to pay him after work. Anyway, I was okay with $293 for fixing the washing machine. However, the problem remains unsolved even I paid $293. As such, I need to call him again. Last Friday, Enim came again and he told us that we need to change a part for which I have to pay additional $360, means total $ 644. When he asked for additional $ 360, I had no alternative but to pay because I already paid them $ 293 earlier. Although I told him that this payment was too high for me because if I add few hundred dollars, I may buy a brand-new LG washing Machine from the market. I can even buy 5 years extended warranty for the new washing machine. I found that this guy is not only rude but very unprofessional. He should fix the problem in one go (instead of coming two times) and should be give me the estimate costing before he started his work. I will never recommend anybody to call this company or Enim.

I called to arrange a repair for a broken dishwasher soap dispenser. They insisted on sending a tech to diagnose first. They charged me $100. It has been over 2 weeks and they have not followed up to schedule the repair and are not answering the phone. Do not trust this company!

Our fridge stopped working and we called Appliance Repair Expert. The technician was scheduled for the following day between 4pm-8pm. He ended FINALLY showed up at 11:30pm after my fiancé having to consistently contact him via call and text. He ended up having to come back several times - always late and completely unhelpful. After his lack of accountability and knowledge we just decided to buy a new fridge. a total and utter waste of our time and money. We sent three emails to the manager, who still has never responded disputing the payment we had to pay upfront. We were refunded $250 but never got the initial consultation fee refunded, even after the appalling service we received. I would NEVER call this company again and would absolutely not recommend them to anyone.

If youve had the unfortunate experience of having an appliance breakdown, whatever you do, dont call Appliance Repair Expert! We started with them on February 8, had a quick diagnosis, prepaid for a new part, then waited for 3 weeks and after umpteen phone calls to both the repairman and the company had the part put in. The dishwasher worked twice and the same problem occurred again. Since they give a 3 month warranty we were sure they would come back promptly and correct the problem. 50 plus texts and numerous phone calls have resulted in a broken promise of warranty, months of aggravation and no repair. Dont make the same mistake we did! They are not honest or reputable!

Save yourself a ton of frustration and aggravation and never ever call this company. The repair technician missed his first two scheduled appointments (he didn't even call!) and was 11 hours late when he finally did show up. (Yes -- eleven hours. He was supposed to arrive at 8 a.m. and showed up at 7 p.m.) I wasted three whole days sitting at home. The total repair took almost a month!! And there was no follow up -- I had to keep calling and calling. I would have dropped them but I had already paid for the part. Never, ever again. Not even one word of apology. The worst service ever.

I had a Dryer with a broken tumbler belt and disassembled the dryer to install the broken belt I had purchased online. Unfortunately, I had a challenge removing the drum so I decided rather than damage the machine I called Appliance Repair Expert to send a technician to finish the job. The deployed a technician the next day. He was prompt, professional and had the belt replaced and the dryer reassembled and tested in about 35 minutes. It seemed to run fine at that time. I was somewhat surprised at the cost of $316.40 as I had done part of the work, determined the issue, and bought and supplied the belt. About a week later when doing laundry the dryer kept blowing the breaker. This had never happened before. Once I unplugged the dryer, reset the breakers the power in the house returned. When I plugged it in again it blew the breakers and now the dryer no longer works.

A technician came and said I need a new fan for my LG freezer. Never heard back from him I called and emailed with no response Never use them

This contractor will charge two+ times the List price for parts. Quotation process is informal, no breakdown of costs for labour and parts, and only if you do your homework will you know that you were treated unfairly. This is not a contractor that you should trust to be honest. Beware !!!
