    Incompetent and Unprofessional

Terrible experience. I paid $145 to a technician who didn't know what the problem was. He promised to order parts and return to fix my dishwasher, but then he totally ghosted me! I contacted the company by phone and the person I spoke to was unapologetic and unhelpful. All he did was put me back in touch with the same technician who again promised to order a part, and again he just disappeared.....would not respond to phone calls or text messages. He just took my money and ran! Steer clear of this company!

    Appliance Repair Expert

Asked them to come and diagnose a leak in the fridge. They came they diagnosed, took the 120 diagnosis fee and then never followed up to actually do the work. Not trustworthy, Not professional. Definately do not recommend. B

    Dishwasher repair

the service with this company is terrible especially in Windsor. First off they give you a time between 1 and 4 and they showed up at 5PM, with no phone call to say they would be late. Then after the analysis they tell me that they cannot buy parts they I have to, but do not help me select or give me a part number. They also told me to order a $220 wire harness because he needs on piece. So now i have had a $150 bill plus a $250 parts bill. After the parts come in they come within the window and he puts the parts in. The dishwasher starts and he says it will take at least an hour to run, but to call if any problems, and bills me another $150. Within an half hour the dishwasher stops because of no power. I check the fuse box and it is fine so i send a text to the repairman to return. No answer for an hour so i send head office an email and call them but no answer. After 4 they call me. He questions me on how much i spend and why am i upset that it does not work. I say send the repair man to get it going, but he is only worried that he cannot see i spend $500. I said get the repair man here today. That was yesterday and so far have not heard anything from the company and it is 1 in the afternoon. No call no update and no offer of a refund based on not completing the job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE CALL SOMEONE LOCAL, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. IT LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY COME AND REPAIR THE DISHWASHER AS THEY WILL NOT RESPOND

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER INITIAL CALL

Two attendances and my stove does not work properly and it cost me $660. All calls to customer service to date have not resolved the issue. They do not take responsibility for the repair being made properly.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This company says its about customer service and its the opposite. I had a broken dryer, the guy came to repair it, said it needed parts and service and he had me pay a $255 deposit. The guy rushed me into a decision and had me signing off on an agreement I didnt have the opportunity to read. I thought: this is a reputable company, itll be ok. The guy comes back to do the job and once hes at it says the part doesnt fit and my dryer is junk. Why didnt he know that this part had changed and wouldnt fit an older model? So because of his mistake, Im out my $255 and the company says they arent liable for a refund. Find a local company thatll actually stand by their services

Defrosting Masters: Appliance Repair Expert's Enchanting Magic Spectacle!

Let me share the saga of my encounter with Appliance Repair Expert the self-proclaimed Defrosting Masters, where surprises aren't just limited to your freezer. So, I have this freezer, right? The inside back panel was bulging because of a previous over-frosting situation. We had it defrosted and diagnosed earlier and knew exactly what the problem was. Called in the 'experts' and agreed to a straightforward diagnosis and an estimate of $89+tax, but little did I know, I was about to be the star of their Bait and Switch magic show. Despite having explained to them that we had defrosted the freezer ourselves and agreed that no work was to be performed before discussing it with me, the tech spent a dazzling 10 minutes defrosting my freezer no diagnosis, no estimate. Just a grand bill of $280 + Tax, demanded before they'd even consider leaving. But wait, the real trickery came when they casually mentioned a quote for the actual repair would be sent later. Presto! My money vanished into their magician's hat! Here's where it gets even more 'magical.' They now hold my hard-earned money hostage, promising to wave when I decide to proceed with their repair a repair they never even discussed with me! It's like being forced into a prepaid contract for a service that's yet to be agreed upon. Brilliant! In the grand spectacle of Appliance Repair Expert, the unexpected additional $191 charge feels like a grand finale, leaving you questioning reality. To all those seeking a thrill, they're your ticket to an unforgettable financial rollercoaster. Just in case youre still wondering: Not only did they not respond to my polite email inquiry, they didn't follow up with the actual quote they said they were going to either. I will not be spending a single additional penny with them because I refuse to contribute any further to their little magic show. I consider the money I spent with them as money that I lost. I engaged another professional, and he followed protocol by calling me with diagnosis and pricing before proceeding. He then sent pictures showing progress and final product when he was done.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

DIAGNOSIS PULLED OUT OF THIN AIR, NO OFFICIAL WRITTEN QUOTE, USURARY MARKUP ON PARTS, HANG UP WHEN YOU CALL TO COMPLAIN. Called for service on an electric oven and received a rapid call back. "Technician" came at the appointed time. NO DIAGNOSTIC TEST PERFORMED. Turned the oven on, opened door and placed his hand near the element (which was cold, the reason for the service call). Then said both heating elements had to be replaced. No testing with an ohmmeter (he didn't pull the oven out of the cabinet). DID NOT PROVIDE A WRITTEN QUOTE -- SAID IT WAS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY!!! Later texted a deposit amount we needed to pay to have the parts ordered, which would take 3 months. The stated amount was $879.63 (for 2 elements). THE ACTUAL PRICE FROM THE BRAND'S OFFICIAL LOCAL PARTS DISTRIBUTOR: $275.85. SO APPLIANCE REPAIR CHARGES A 320% MARKUP. Even worse, the "diagnosis" was wrong -- all 3 elements were in fact functional (the oven has 3, not 2 elements as claimed by the pseudo-technician). The problem was a defective control/relay board. I called to obtain a refund on the "diagnostic visit": an agent answered, promised to transfer the call but instead hung up; I called back, assuming an accidental disconnection but... they hang up immediately. IN SHORT: DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT.
