The lights in my 5 year old Whirlpool side-by-side fridge stopped working. I searched online for a repair specialist, and based on their website chose Appliance Repair Experts. I should have looked at their BBB rating first. They were scheduled to arrived between 9am - 1pm and called 20 min before arrival. So far so good. Two men arrived in a rental car and the younger guy pulled a small tool box out of the trunk. They looked at the freezer then the fridge, fiddled with the switches, and advised that they needed to find parts. The initial $129 + GST callout fee would be applied toward the $285 +GST flat labour fee plus parts later. They would not apply the $30 new customer discount until the final invoice. Three days later the older one called using a Saskatchewan caller ID to say the freezer light was going to be over $300 and the fridge light $100. I asked him to find a better price and have not heard from him again. I ordered the fridge light on Amazon for $42 and will install it myself.

Arranged for fridge repair which was misdiagnosed as a control board. After a second visit, Technician told me to call another company. The other company fixed the problem (fan motor).

Hoping that I can save others from having the same troublesome experience I had. Technician came in June to repair our broken kitchen range hood. Was told they had a 3-month warranty. It broke again a couple days later and I have been calling them EVERY WEEK since then (minus 2 weeks that I was away on vacation) for them to come back. No one answers the phone, or the line "mysteriously" get disconnected when speaking to someone, or they say someone will call me back and they never do. I have also tried emailing and texting with no response. I basically paid over $250 for nothing! I bet they are waiting until Sept to say that the 3-month warranty period is over. DO NOT TRUST! Just pathetic!

they took a deposit on a part for over $400 and then have not come back. They will not return calls or email now. they provide and email address and then when you send a note, it comes back as not a valid email.

Technician that came out to diagnose problem was hostile and did not have the proper tools to diagnose issue. My property manager mistakenly called this company that is in essence a marketing company which subs out jobs to any local technician they can find. Stay away.

I called the company and explained my fridge issue. They sent out a tech that said it was a gas issue (obvious from the problem explained over the phone). He was nice enough, collected the $89 call out fee, referred me to a gas tech, said one would be contacting me. Since then, nobody has called me and my concerns are being ignored. No calls or emails returned. Basically, they charged me $89 for something I already knew, and provided no assistance whatsoever to resolve my problem. Lesson learned, never again.

Three times their specialist comes and could not fix the fridge to make ice. Extremely incompetent company with very poor service. Do not even consider hiring them!!!!!

Paid for the technician to come out he showed up 2 hours late and then said I needed a new pump. I asked if he would order it and he never called back. After calling the head office he called me and said he would be at my home at 2pm after taking time off work he never showed up and never called. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Finally called another company the technician diagnosed the problem over the telephone, sourced the part and came to my house on time and it was fixed in 20 minutes. Stay far away from this company all they want is your initial visit fee. They have no interest in solving your problme

They reimburse the visit if you fix the machine with them but is delusive because is very pricey the service

Technician was unprofessional and could not access the problem. In fact he told me to replace a part that I just replaced brand new. He then insisted it was the issue and then ended up damaging my fridge and stretched the O-Ring of my fridge water system. The next day my fridge was flooded and caused more issues. He also could not communicate and couldnt find the issue or any parts to correct. He was like ohh I dont know - I cant fix it. pay me the service fee. DO NOT CALL THIS Company!
