    ADT custom home services

    I pay the same as my neighbours but far inferior system. When I realized this I called, and was told tough luck, you signed a 3 year contract. Customer service had the same used car attitude at their local office in Mississauga, and their head office after I attempted to escalate the issue. They are a unreputable. Good marketing makes people think they are getting superior equipment and service. You get an alarm for peace of mind and comfort, you get the opposite with ADT.

    Alarm system

    STAY FAR AWAY FROM ADT This company is a total rip-off. I had services with ADT which they cancelled for no apparent reason (i did not cancel nor was payment outstanding). At this time i was out of the country and my home got broken into and ADT did nothing they made excuse after excuse and I had to foot the bill for the break in. A year later, my alarm went off and no one from ADT called and there was no response. When i inquired, they said they never received a signal from my home for about 2 months. One month of which I was out of the country and there seemed to be no concern. They came and fixed the problem, but i was never compensated for this no-term service and never really given an apology. Their service is poor, their salespeople are unprofessional and never explain their contracts properly to customers. THEY DO NOT/ CAN NOT PROTECT YOU WITH THIS SERVICE! STAY AWAY!!

    ADT Security System

    Each of my family members has a different security provider and ADT is by far and away the worst - they make you sign a 3 year contract without telling you that if you ever want to cancel then you have to pay 75% of the total 3 year bill - they have horrendous customer service takes over a month to get someone to come out and fix any problem that you may have - takes up to an hour to get someone on the phone to even book an appointment. Even if you have ADT already installed in a house that you move into get any other company to come in and swap it out (generally will do this for free) - do not sign up with a bunch of crooks that will have you locked in for 3 years.

    alarm system

    i have ADT alarm system install for my retail store , the system not even working , when try to call for service only machine talking or they just pass you around it take for eve to contact them , this Alarm company is bad , the just want money but no services ,they hold too much account , they are can not handle they sell your account , there is lot of good alarm company just do your home work ,

    Worse Service EVER

    I would never recommend ADT to anyone. They take no responsibility for their repairs or false alarm costs while out of the country. They just want you to buy insurance and service packages. Pure money grab!

    Home Security

    Unfortunately ADT service has changed greatly in the past decade, for the worse. We have spent hours on the phone booking and rebooking service appointments. Service technicians are not properly trained and ill equipped to complete simple repairs, ie-reinstalling window sensors. We have wasted a great deal of time and have been left with only frustration with ADT "service". After 13years we have had to make a change in companies. Do not waste your time with ADT.

    ADT Home Security Services

    Absolutely terrible company. ADT do not follow protocol. After multiple false alarms, they dispatch the fire dept without even calling us first, and after entering the code multiple times to get the alarm to stop sounding. The alarm goes off for no reason - we are afraid to even set it - and pay $41/month for this crap?! Customer Service is lacking - put through so many departments it's ridiculous ... when they installed it the guy told me I could cancel any time, but apparently I've signed a 3-year contract. THE SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK! BEWARE, ADT JUST WANT YOUR MONEY and aren't willing to provide you service that you pay for!

    Home Alarm

    ADT pricing is all over the place. I've had several billing errors with them, and there is no consistency in the services you receive. We have friends who have the same service at a much cheaper cost and more sensors than ours. It is difficult to make changes to your system, and things cannot be done easily through the internet or over the phone. For example, if you go on vacation and want an instant call to 911 in case of break in, you must call and arrange for a technician to come in to make the change in person. A waste of time and a nusance

    Business alarm system setup

    The system itself was very effective and worked quite good. Price was competitive and the girl on the phone was very friendly until I decided to cancel the service. The technician showed up late to deinstall, girl on the phone just disappeared and never returned my calls. So I would rate 3 stars for the service.

    Alarm System

    I have been with ADT for 9 years. Excellent service. Follow up on all calls has been immediate. The only false alarms I have experienced were due to user error in the use of the motion detector. The first three years were under contract. The last three years I have been paying $16.95/month. Small price to pay for peace of mind. Set it and forget it as they say. In 9 years the only equipment I have had to replace is the backup battery, and that was after 9 years. My experience with monitoring has been that when the system goes off their is an immediate response by ADT. Excellent Customer Service. I will definitely be using ADT in my new home.
