Hidden charge
I got a call from ADT saying I have a low battery signal, and they will send a technician to come "check it out". On the day the technician came, it took him 5 minutes to replace the battery and the charge was 162 dollars!!
I thought this was a free service and that's why I agreed to have a technician come. I was not at all informed of this charge ahead of time. Battery cost about 50 and technician cost 100 for the 5 minutes he was here.
We inherited the device from previous home owner and had a maintainable service 3months ago when we just got here, and they didn't have any issue with the battery.
I called customer service about my experience, and they said I need to contact "billing" department ??? This company is all about money. And they will make their device broke easily so they could charge you money to fix it.
