This company sucks. It is way overpriced. They came to my home and aggressively sold us an alarm system for $500 not including monitoring costs. After I signed the contract I heard a radio ad for Alarm Force who install the system free of charge and charge you less per month for monitoring costs......no brainer people....

We had just moved into a new home and we needed a cost-effective security system. George the Sales Representative was efficient and professional. He provided an in-home assessment that met our needs without blowing our budget. Highly recommend.

Last fall we upgraded our alarm system with a digital system which was the best thing we ever did. Now we can even set the alarm after we leave the house unlike the old system. We were very impressed with the installation team who were very professional and tidied up after their work was done....great job.

ADT was the worst... recently moved to Toronto and was setting up my alarm. Basically, the CO2 sensor was broken (brand new). So okay, after stopping the fire fighters from breaking my door with an axe, I thought it was faulty equipment, fine. They were supposed to put the alarm on test mode so that it wouldnt alert the fire fighters until it was fixed. they scheduled a technician to visit... technician didn't bother to show. Guess what, test mode was off... I get a call at 3a saying fire fighters are going to break down my door... I rush over, JUST IN TIME! 2 seconds later and my door would have been done. So a technician finally comes... he didn't bring a ladder!!!!!!!!! so i had to wait again, sure enough, the alarm goes off a 3rd time. Then they finally come and fix it. The sales guy was great... but the follow through was SO horrible, I wanted to pull my hair out.

We purchased our alarm system from ADT. The system itself was installed for free when we signed a 3 year contract ($33/month). The installer was on time, professional and completed the install fairly quickly. Didn't do a great clean up job (saw dust on the floor where they had installed sensors) but other then that did a good job.

Great service from day one. We had an excellent security consultation and the installation was very professional. We even got a futher rebate form to say $200 dollars off. The only problem is that the companies phones seem to goto USA and you have to wait doe a callback from a rep

Called up ADT 1-800 to make an appointment for a sales person to come visit our house. The sales person was very friendly and took the time to look through our whole house including the exterior. We went over packages and decided to go with wireless sensors. I was originally planning on only spending for their basic package of $99 but it meant that they would have to hard wire the whole house. A few days later the installer was very helpful and gave me some options. Unfortunately he couldn't install it on the first visit due to complications on the way my house was set up but he came the second time and did an amazing job. I've called them a few times and they were very helpful over the phone. The monthly service is a bit pricey at $36 per month and my house insurance only discounts us $5 off our monthly plan. My sister and parents in law both had their ADT system for over 10 years. My sister got a $50 discount for recommending us and we also received a $100 rebate cheque in the mail from ADT. So, overall we are pleased with them.

Salesperson from Corporate (R.F) provided a quote and was rather helpful prior to placing the order. In the end, we cancelled before installation because we recd a better offer. However, they still put the charge through prior to installation and it has taken 2-3 weeks to process the refund. Simply beware of this if you choose ADT.

I had an ADT alarm system installed in my new home. The technician did a very bad job with the installation. His English was very poor . The customer service people are very impatient when you speak with them over the phone.

The installation was done by a Polish guy, Mariusz. He was very knowledgeable, explaining how the job was going to be performed, what damage it was going to cause or not, how the alarm would work and when. He did a very clean job, he explained everything and he even suggested improvements. He did not damage anything. Everything worked fine at the end of the job.
