Technician completed work appropriately. Communication was terrible and at times non existent. They missed a scheduled appointment with no contact that I had to initiate follow up to, visits at an indicated time period pushed back hours after already missing the previously given time slot. The manager blamed everything on a late part, but that would have been no issue if they communicated anything to us and didn’t no show. I wouldn’t use Fixify again.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the communication issues you experienced during your service with us. While we strive to provide reliable and timely service, we clearly fell short in keeping you informed, which is unacceptable. We take your concerns seriously and are addressing them internally to ensure better communication and scheduling reliability in the future. If there’s anything we can do to make things right, please let us know—we’d love the opportunity to regain your trust. Again, we truly appreciate your business and your honesty in sharing this experience. Best regards, The Fixify Appliance Repair Team

Update to my review: This company is real scam, the manager is very greedy, and a liar, the technician took exactly 1.5 hours showing on my camera system, and did only maintenance, i highly recommend to stay away from this company, check their reviews. The Fixify Appliance Repair manager responded to my review, asking me to call for a fair resolution. I called him, However, the call escalated, with him focusing solely on the review, yelling, and offering a maximum refund of $50. Here is my review that he responded to, Initially, I was quoted $240 for repairs if no hardware was needed, with a $70 service fee deductible from the total. After the technician’s visit, the manager raised the cost to $520, claiming hardware replacement was required. I paid the full amount, only to later realize that no parts were changed—just cleaning and maintenance, which should have cost $240. When I requested a refund, the manager returned only $76.23, leaving me paying $443.77 for basic maintenance.

    Answer from pro:

We're sorry to hear about your concerns. However, there seems to be a misunderstanding. Our manager initially quoted you $240 plus tax ($271.20) over the phone for the service call and repair of your dryer, with parts being an additional cost if needed. You agreed to this pricing. When our technician arrived and inspected the dryer, he found that it required full maintenance due to a significant buildup of lint, debris, and hair. This additional service was quoted at $172.57 because it required extra time for a thorough cleaning. He also informed you that a part might be needed, costing an additional $76.23. You agreed to both potential costs. Upon your approval, the technician proceeded with the repair and deep cleaning. Fortunately, he was able to fix the issue without replacing the part, which saved you money. As a result, we refunded the $76.23 for the unused part. The entire job, including repair and deep cleaning, took 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Fixfy Appliance Repair Team

    Washing machine repair

Contacted fixify, their price to come out and take a look was very reasonable as was the overall repair cost. The work was done well and quickly. Will definitely use them again.

    Washer & Dryer Repair

They were prompt upon arrival but did not come with their all their own tools. They were asking my husband for numerous items and was only able to fix the dryer and not the washer. It took him hours to locate the issue and while my husband was watching him, the technician explained what was going on and what the problem was. The owner (Sam) then called my husband and indicated that it was a different issue that would cost much more as he was trying to gauge us for more money. My husband said I am willing to pay $150 for your time take it or leave it as he was asking for over $450 saying new parts were needed which was not true. The technician left only fixing the dryer and indicated they would call regarding how to fix the washer. The owner Sam never followed up (assuming because he knew he had been caught red handed) and we ended up going with another company to fix the remaining appliance which was the washer. Overall, sneaky operation which I would not trust or recommend to anyone in the future.

    Fridge repair quote

Hired first person who called through Homestars regarding my water dispenser. Told repair person who show up between 4 and 5 pm. Repair person showed up at 5:45 pm. Barely looked at fridge. Only looked at water being dispensed. Then said it's not the fridge, it's our city water. Quoted $80 for assessment only to be asked to send $90.40 for a 5 min visit. Not impressed

    Answer from pro:

Hi, the technician came and diagnosed the problem, confirming it was an issue with the city water. You paid only $80 for the service call, as we quoted you, not $90.40. The service call took him 45 minutes to drive to your home and 20 minutes to diagnose and identify the problem.
