I had booked my move with a company who was used by another family member in the past by referral. But prior to that, I had my phone number (BIG MISTAKE) listed on a site asking for quotation from other movers. SUNDAY MOVERS is one of the company to contact me. I didn't pick up the phone initially but Sheri (that's what he calls himself) but his actual name is Deepak kept calling and calling... I picked up one time and had him give me a quote based on the # of stairs and furniture and boxes. I said that was too high and I have someone willing to do almost 1/2 his quote. He asked if I paid deposit and I said not yet. After that, he wouldn't let me go. Kept calling me until I finally gave up and finally got me agree for a CASH deal with a higher deposit. He told me $125/hour + $125 truck fee + $30 fuel charge. That was it. No mention of any additional cost except the final balance will be based on the # of hours for the movers. The day of moving which is today he calls while we're running around and stressing out.. asking me to sign some waivers. 1st waiver is the company IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, and 2nd waiver is for proving my credit card information. I am like are you really sending me this on a short notice so I don't get to really READ what's in your lengthy contract? I signed the waiver for damages and did not give him my credit card because I THOUGHT WE WERE DOING A CASH DEAL. He is like "yes, we're doing a cash deal but this is our process.." Being stressed out 8am in the morning, I signed the credit card form. GUESS WHAT? Right in the middle of my moving, they said there is going to be additional cost for the # of stories of both houses (the move out and the move in). I am like what do you mean? Sheri (real name "Deepak") didn't mention anything to me. He knew I lived in a townhouse and moving to another 2 story house... They said each sets of stairs is additional $70 per stairs and charged for 3 stairs... First you give me a flat rate and while harassing me to sign the deal with them and calling me 10 times per day.. he never took the time to reveal that information but while our things are inside the truck and being dropped off at the new place... he decides to call and SURPRISE me. I refused to pay... Some owner named "Paul" called.. I bet that's not his name either... threatened me that they will call the collection agency.. I said sure. Then Deepak called and asked the movers to take the originally agreed upon balance as cash. I thought he finally realized and was ok. The movers took the full amount that was agreed upon and then again Deepak/Paul called to one of the movers saying they are going to now charge my credit card and they did for extra $367. HUGE SALES GAMVE..... during sales, they neglected to mention about the additional stairs cost... was saying all the right things to get my business and to deposit to lock me in... The amount of phone calls I received from Deepak is unbelievable... and then the night before moving, he sends couple of waivers... expects me to read it and sign it for the next morning at 8am.. And when I didn't, he calls continuously to get it signed while the movers are there before they started the work... and while the clock is ticking.... he said he would stop the movers from unloading our stuff until balance is paid... again, for a while, movers did stop and clock is ticking away... finally put a charge on my credit card because I refused to pay the additional stairs cost... for a deal that should have been CASH.. they said we're charging you tax too. They took cash deposit originally so that they won't charge tax but in the end, they ended up piling that on too.. And then when I said I will write a google review... they asked if I am threatening them.... It's not a threat, it's my experience with your company and I will write you a review. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. PLEASE USE REFERRALS FROM OTHER PEOPLE YOU KNOW... THIS IS A GREAT TACTIC USED BY THIS COMPANY TO GET THE SALE AND SURPRISE YOU DURING THE MOVE. Going to report them.

DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR PIANO- mine arrived in pieces, nor any antiques nor loved furniture. It will be rammed around, dumped on its side or upside down and be left chipped, scratched and broken. Don't hire 3 men: 2 will socialize. They seldom work together to lift heavy stuff. One mover shoves it on a skinny trolley and that's why things get so damaged. Trollies are loaded, unloaded 2-3 times to get the same box into the truck. This pads the time and cost. Won't read locations written on boxes so you have to direct every single thing and even then, a third of it will go to wrong location. Worst move at highest price I ever had.

I, unfortunately, hired this company to move house for me. They made all sorts of promises of reliable, good professional service to me, all of which proved to be mendacious. I believe that they are not professional movers but rather little more than men who can lift heavy things. They damaged my pinball machine by putting it on its side for moving (something no professional moving company would do since it damages the inner workings). Naturally, my pinball machine was damaged. They also severely scratched a very expensive dining room set. Pictures and descriptions of the damage were sent to their offices but nothing was done about it. In fact, the company representatives became impossible to reach and would not return calls. All the promises made when I was deciding to hire them were forgotten. And they do not care! It was impossible to tell them that the movers did not put things in places easy to find and assemble as they were told. Instead, a table would be in one area of the house and the legs somewhere else, hard to find. However, my lawyer was able to reach the person in charge (we think since no one is sure who is in charge there) and was rebuffed with a curt "take me to court" which I am currently preparing for. That is the way this company operates. Sure there are a lot of laudatory comments in their reviews but one can only wonder if they just delete all poor reports. Hire them at your own risk. Not me. Not ever again. Worst possible experience by the most unprofessional, unresponsive, cavalier, lazy (took 3 men longer than 2 good men with a truck), incapable movers on this planet. By the way, I called thinking this was another company--they told me that they were that other company. I was fooled. They aren't.

I hired them for my previous move. This would be my second time using their service. Our sales agent remembered us, and provided us with a reasonable estimate. Also providing amazing discount. They kept their word and worked around our difficult situations and the job completed smoothly than expected. They take so much efforts to keep showing us that they are the best in their field. We have moved multiple times in the past and so many bad history. So far, these guys are the best we ever had. And will continue to us them whenever we need moving service and recommended them to anyone.

I booked with them for a 4 bedroom large move. The movers were excellent with their job. They arrived on time, and was working very hard to make it as smooth as possible for us. They stayed back to assemble the beds for us. From the day one they called us to even after the job completed. They were consistent with their service delivered to us in great care. Pricing were reasonable. We moved from Brampton to Bowmanville. I would definitely recommed this service to my family and friends!

Movers promised 5 hrs job and completed. I'm so happy and no complaints at all. Moved all my furnitrue quick and no damages. They are honstly super fast. we estimated more than 5 hrs but its cool.

I needed movers to help move furniture out of storage and take it to my new apartment. The plan was to show up at the storage unit and I would guide them to where my locker was and tell them what needed to be taken and what would be left behind for later disposal. I paid a deposit which was later deducted from the total move. They arrived an hour ahead of schedule to the wrong address so I was a little concerned. However, they were at a different storage place that was around the corner so they got to the correct storage facility in good time. The entire load up took about an hour. They were super careful with loading everything. The travel to the apartment was only 15 minutes. They carefully unloaded everything and brought it up the one elevator the building had and was able to do that in 45 minutes. They were super fast nothing was damaged or broken. Great company!

Highly recommended movers! All our things are in good condition. They arrived ahead of the scheduled time. Staffs are on time and very responsive to mails. The experience was wonderful! Their fees are fair, they are organized, and they care about the human they are doing business with ethical values; it is more than just business.
