    Extremely Unprofessional

Emergency Hub lost $1000 worth of goods that they were moving for me, they damaged even more, and they failed to deliver certain items. They demanded more money than they quoted me and showed up late. They do not care about you or your belongings.

    Answer from pro:

I m sorry To here you. I want to make sure that we have compensated through insurance. Company does not change any additional charges based on wait we gave the final invoice. Initial estimate is for the Lbs that u have requested Nd final bill was based on ur items weight.

    Emergency Hub, my worse experience

So let’s see what happened here. I hired their services that I agreed to pay the amount of $1,000 + taxes that I agreed to pay 10% but you guys charged me more than this (check attached invoice with description breakdown). Not a big deal anyway, so the pending amount as $980.00 upon delivery, surprisingly I got a second invoice JUST BEFORE DELIVERY with values that I did not agree with ($1,548.10) and I only paid because otherwise, I would not have my furniture. This company was holding my stuff in their rented truck from U-haul. I would like to express my astonishment the total lack of professionalism and honesty from your company and employees and I will tell you my reason for this allegation: 1. The truck arrived in the office at 10:30 am (I saw on their timesheets) when they were supposed to be at my place at least 15 min in advance counting on traffic and other unpredicted events. The driver only arrived at my place downtown Toronto at 11:40 am (40 minutes delay); 2. I was following the truck the whole time. We left Toronto at 12:30 pm and we made FOUR STOPS!!! 1. Stopped at your employee's house and he got a change of clothes, 2. Stopped for gas (the truck should have arrived at my place full already), 3. They wanted to stop for food, 4. They stopped again for gas (really? I could not believe they did not put enough gas for the whole trip), 3. The driver was driving at 80 km/h 90 km/h in most of the trajectory. 4. I was supposed to get the apartment keys at 5 pm in Ottawa (The plan was to leave Toronto at 12 pm if your driver was not late). By the time we arrived in Ottawa at 8:30 pm (8 hours driving a 440km, I did not believe in what was happening to me!), there was nobody in the rental office so I did not get my apartment keys, 5. We unload my furniture in the hallway and my things slept there, outside of my apartment the whole night, unprotected. 6. I needed to sleep in a hotel and the expenses of course were paid by me, your company did not even offer help in minimizing the sorrow that was caused by them. So I asked to at least refund the amount I paid and charge only the agreed amount of $980,00 and telling them that I would not leave a bad review about their services!!! They completely ignored my emails and when I called and finally got to talk to Paul, he was shouting at the phone and never let me talk. He said the amount was right and his employees worked overtime and I do not remember what else he accused me of. I gave up and hang up. Bad, bad, very bad service in general and also communication.

My movers were so upset due to ur rude behaviour. We charge u price based on hrs we worked. Driving hrs Nd loading and unloading hrs . No hidden charges given to u sir. Customer was blaming hard working people for no reason. Items we delivered same day Toronto to Ottawa. We did best service and customer was threatening company to complain on payment Nd after completing move , customer has no intention to pay bill after job done. Thanks for u business.

    Furniture move

RESPONSE TO COMMENTS FROM EMERGENCY HUB MOVERS. MY FURNITURE IS NOT OLD, THE OLDEST PIECE OF FURNITURE IS 2 YEARS OLD, I HAVE THE ORGINAL RECEIPTS OF PURCHASE, SOME IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD, YOU NEVER MADE ANY OFFER OR ATTEMPT TO COMPENSATE FOR THE DAMAGE. TRIED TO WORK WITH YOU BUT YOU WERE NOT WILLING, AS FOR THE CONTRACT YOU BROKE THE CONTRACT FROM THE START. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. READ ALL THE REVIEWS. SAME ISSUES. This will be a long review but please read, it is a honest review of the service we received from this company. The price quoted for our move from Fort McMurray, Ab. to Windsor, On. was in line with the rest of the quotes we received. there was a pick up date and time set a week before pick up and it was explained that we were on a tight time on moving day due to flights and tenants moving into our house. the truck was 6.5 hours late for pick up, scheduled for 6 am and showed up at 12:30 pm. because of the late arrival for pick up the guys were rushing to load the truck. What we paid for, as per our contract, professional wrapping, detailed list of items (we did have our own) didn't get either, see wrapping pictures attached, they were moving things out to the truck and told us they would wrap it in the truck, it was never wrapped. I was told by Paul that this was my fault because i didn't ask for it to be wrapped. I had also asked that the items be delivered on the 20th of July, When they arrived in Toronto they asked if they could deliver that day because they didn't want to unload and load it again. so we agreed, again they were to arrive in Windsor at 2 pm and showed up at 9:30 pm. As they were unloading my wife and sons was pointing out the damaged items with no response from the movers they basically ignored them. I was at work and was texting Van to show him pictures, he said he was going to the house to look and he never did show up. They damaged over $11,000 worth of furniture. I have been getting the run around from this company for 3 weeks, and there is more than what is listed but don't want to keep ranting. these are all facts I have the text, emails, pictures to back up our service. very unprofessional company, eager to take payment but not back up the service promise. this is a honest and true review hope it helps someone make the correct decision for a moving company. also one of the reviews are made by employees, on of their 5 star review was made by the same person that sent me my invoice. I have the proof for that also.

Sorry to here that. Our movers did good job Nd most of ur items are old and has damages earlier and you r claiming compensation to damages that we r not caused. But still we try to compensate to through insurance and since u demand full value we r unable, and is not agreed in contract.
