    Install new hinges on oven door

    After being run-around for almost a year by an unscrupulous company, I contacted CAS Repair & Installation through Homestars. They were able to install parts that I obtained on-line. Edgar was prompt, professional and did an excellent job. I would hire him again for any of my appliance repair needs. I am so happy that I have my oven back in use.

    Appliance Service

    We had a problem with our microwave. They tried to fix it but in the end has to get a new one. Service was prompt and excellent

    Dishwasher repair

    We are very pleased we Edgar's work. He responded right away to my request and arrived as promised on the day of service. He is very courteous, professional and accurate. The job was done in a timely manner, he explained what and why needed to be done. The price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend Edgar for all your appliances needs.

    Second time around - just as happy as the first

    Asked Edgar to fix a squeaky dryer and take a look at stove burners, as I didn't think they were heating up correctly. Dryer was fixed quickly, and (just as important) Edgar showed me the temps of each of the stove burners and told me there was nothing wrong, nothing to be done. Good, quick honest service.

    Miele freezer repair

    Edgar was fabulous! He was quick to respond to messages, easy to book with, showed up on time, and had my freezer up and running on schedule. He needs to order a part and found a short term solution while we waited for it to arrive. I would definitely recommend these guys

    Dishwasher

    Our Kitchenaid Dishwasher is roughly 5 years old. As it turned out the circulating pump was not working. CAS came within a few days, ordered the part and within the week it was working again! Great service

    Honest and knowledgeable

    Edgar came to diagnose our freezer issue, which had been looked at by a few other companies. He was the most professional, honest and knowledgeable person we've dealt with. He really understood the issue and was happy to explain it in a way that made sense to us and gave us practical options, including ones that did not involve additional service fees. on top of everything else, he's a really nice guy. Will definitely be calling him for future repair needs.

    Refrigerator assessment for repair or replace

    My 16 year 25 cubic ft French Door Kitchenaid Refrigerator stopped providing cold temperatures to both the freezer and fridge compartments. Luckily we have a backup fridge in the basement. After initial troubleshooting I isolated it to the compressor not working. I contact CAS Repair to get an honest assessment whether it was worth getting repaired or replaced. Edgar from CAS Repair showed me the scorch mark on the compressor which showed it had overheated. And after explaining to me that the cost of repair was not worth it as it usually does not involve just replacing the compressor and refrigerant it usually involves replacing other components as well. Edgar gave me some advice on frigerator brands he liked and a company he ordered his own fridge from. Thanks Edgar for the honest assessment and advice! It was a pleasure dealing with you.

    My only regret is that I can only give 10/10

    Like most people, I've worked with good technicians and bad technicians. Over the last few months I found myself paying other technicians hundreds of dollars for bad advice and questionable parts that didn't fix a major problem I was having with my oven. Fortunately, I eventually found CAS. Edgar is definitely one of the best technicians I've ever worked with. He's a patient, friendly, skillful, efficient perfectionist and all at a very fair price. He takes his time and makes sure the job is done to his standard. It makes me feel confident that when, in the future, I have an appliance issue I won't have to shop around I know who to call.

    Dishwasher

    Edgar at CAS came and assessed the issue with my dishwasher very quickly. He was able to replace a part and had my dishwasher running without issue in less than an hour. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend CAS Repair.
