Transformative Heat Pump, Furnace, and Tankless Water Heater Installation
We recently had a new heat pump, high-efficiency furnace, and tankless hot water heater installed, and I couldnt be more impressed with the results. This was a complex job, as everything had to fit into a very tight furnace room, but Vittorio handled it with impressive skill and precision. We chose him because he recommended the best, most energy-efficient equipment for our needs, clearly focused on achieving the best outcome, not just the best margin. With other big-box installers, we felt there was more focus on upselling and profit than on what was genuinely best for our home, but with Vittorio, we never had that concern.
While the project did take longer than the timeline quoted by big-box installers, I cant imagine they would have done as good of a job. Rather than rushing, Vittorio scheduled the installation thoughtfully, ensuring wed be comfortable throughout and carefully planning so we were never left without hot water or heat, even when the weather did dip. Vittorio not only cleaned up the previous mess of pipes left by past installers (and the city) but also laid out new piping neatly, hiding it wherever possible for a cleaner, more organized space. Despite the new high-efficiency furnace being larger than our old one, his hand-crafted solutions actually freed up space in our furnace room.
After he completed the work, we had a home energy audit performed, and our EnerGuide rating dropped significantly from 131 to 72 (from terrible to average!), with our homes airtightness improving by over 25%, thanks in part to Vittorio sealing of several areas. While we dont yet have enough data to know the full impact on our electricity and gas bills, its clear our homes overall efficiency has likely increased significantly.
