Vittorio is an exceptional installer who recently installed a tankless water heater in our home. From start to finish, his professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. Got some fakeish tags put on my furnace, water heater, and fireplace. The first 2 together would be 6 grand & the fireplace a lot more. He came restored service almost immediately, and came the next day to finish the job. Taught me how an HVAC system functions, and how to get better use from it. Will be coming back in the summer to install dampers so that I can airflow to my top floor.

We had our old meter replaced with a new one and during the process, a gas leak was found in our supply line. The gas technician red tagged our meter and turned off the gas to our residence. I initially sent out a service request through HomeStars thinking I was searching for Gas Pipe Professionals, and Vittorio was one of the first HomeStars professionals to reach out. He was very friendly and wanted to know as much information about what issues we were having. We actually waited another 3 days prior to re-engaging with Vittorio and he was very accommodating and showed up promptly to our scheduled appointment. He was also exceptional and very considerate when communicating any changes to scheduling, and when he was on his way. When Vittorio arrived, he was very knowledgeable and helped us understand more about the changes in the industry and how the energy and HVAC companies operate in today's business environment. He listened to our concerns about the technician causing our gas leak and went above and beyond to accommodate our request to recheck the pressure drop on the line, as I wanted to record it to prove that there was no way that we would not have noticed such a major leak. Vittorio confirmed just by looking at the meters wheel spinning that he could tell that there was a pretty big leak on the line. When we went inside, the smell wasn't very strong on the other side of the pipe, which was concerning to Vittorio as the gas had to go somewhere; he believed it was going up the wall spacing which could have been very dangerous. Vittorio informed us that he would change the entire 12 foot pipe line inside as well as the 5-6 foot connections outside to the meter which we were fine with. Our house was built in the 1950's and is pretty old and the gas pipes were placed very snugly between aluminum venting hoods, but Vittorio was able to do everything he needed very professionally within the limited confined space that he had. During the time he was working, he was very clear in explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it. Only someone with vast knowledge and experience can really teach their craft and I'm sure Vittorio would be someone anyone could learn a lot from. Throughout the 4 hours that Vittorio was working there (with me being by his side the entire time), not once did it feel like he was rushing the work to get it done faster or skimping on materials to save money. Everything he did was done diligently and if he had to spend a bit more material or time to do it right, he did it; from taping the pipe that had to fit through the concrete wall, to applying the sealant on the pipe threads, as well as the paint used to coat and protect the pipes. This extended to the outside work as well, and while it might not have been the coldest day in Toronto, even -5 degrees Celsius, when you're out there for an hour is no joke. But Vittorio took his time just like he did inside the house, making sure that the pipe angles, connections, and spacing made sense and were proper, resulting in a straight and aligned meter. These small attention to details are some of the reasons why we would definitely reach out to Vittorio again if we have any issues in the future or have things that we'd like to try and make more efficient, like our heating and cooling systems, as well as a few concerns he had with our probably 20+ year humidifier connected to the furnace. Overall, we are very happy to have met Vittorio, and to know we have someone we can trust to do things right. We've all had the experience of hiring people only to have that pit of regret in your stomach, wishing you had hired someone else instead. That was definitely not the case with Vittorio. Instead, Vittorio left us with peace of mind, and THAT is extremely rare in todays world.

I initially got in contact with Vittorio because Enbridge was relocating my gas meter and I needed someone to reconnect it. Vittorio was the most responsive and most informed of all gas fitters I spoke to. He was even willing to adjust his schedule to accommodate my situation when we (parents and two little kids) could be without gas for heating, cooking or hot water over night. Eventually we had to reschedule and Vittorio was very understanding. Vittorio continued to help me over the phone as I dealt with Enbridge. While working on another project near my house, he even stopped over to have a look. During this time, he also took the time to find an ideal place for the meter and took all measurements so that he can design the gas a new gas intake for our +100 years old house. During the visit, Vittorio noticed that there was a lot of air leaks from air vents. He explained to me how it should work and how he could fix it for me. He also noted that there was an airtake that seemed blocked. All this to say, my heating and cooling system were wasteful at the expense of my pocket book and the environment. Two days later Vittorio sent me three quotes with three options: just the gas work, gas work + sealing the vents, and gas work + seal vents + insulate the vents. I appreciate that he was timely on this. I also think it's above and beyond that he gave me three options. We agreed on the option and dates. Before he could start, I also needed more help discussing plans with Enbridge and Vittorio jumped on the call right away. He helped work out questions to ask and even stepped in to talk to Enbridge crew so that they could align. During that time, the path forward for the gas meter became clear to my relief. This was above and beyond. When Vittorio came to work at my house, he arrived on time and has been communicative beforehand. He was super prepared and pre-empted all the constraints of my century old house. Everything was done with the specified time even though there were some contingencies like pipe needing to go around a post. Vittorio is generous man committed to hard work and quality work. He found way more holes/gaps in the vents than originally thought and diligently repaired all of them. In the end he used more material than he had thought, but was never deterred. He even diagnosed the broken humidifier and heat exchanges that came with the house. During his time at my house, Vittorio taught me so much about our heating system. He even suggested some projects I can do myself to improve energy efficiency of my home and showed me how I can do it myself. This comparable to teaching a person to fish rather than sell them fish. I am thankful to Vittorio for this. My family is grateful to have Vittorio in our lives and would recommend him to anyone. I am most grateful because his work has resulted in our heating and cooling system being more efficient and safer. Our air intake now works as it was designed to, which means there is greater air circulation of air and all air is filtered. And all of this while saving money and the use of energy...for our future. I already have a few more projects lined up with Vittorio!

Vittorio was excellent to work with, the best sub trade hire Ive made in a long time. Came to estimate the cost in person, was priced reasonably, and came when he said he would. He took extra care in running the lines in more difficult locations to make my drywall work easier down the road - hard to find this type of workmanship.

Vittorio was great at helping us out, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, understanding, and accommodating. We had a furnace issue and he easily figured out the issue, figured out a repair and also suggest cost effective alternatives. Also a very good communicator over the phone/texts and on site. I would recommend.

I had clicking noise coming from my air vents. The source of the noise was quickly located and eliminated. Now the system is quiet. Thank you for the efficient service! Your help is much appreciated! A+

Exceptional service! The HVAC contractor (Vittorio) showed up on time and swiftly repaired my furnace's exhaust pipe with precision. The professionalism and expertise exhibited were impressive. Now, my heating system operates flawlessly, thanks to his top-notch skills. Highly recommended!

I called Victor and scheduled him to do a health check on my rental property furnace and also on the 20 year old furnace in my Bungalow. For the rental furnace he thoroughly checked and cleaned everything including the flame detector, and measured the amps on the motor to let me know approximately how much life is left in the motor. He provided me and my tenant advice on how to run the system properly in the winter and summer as well. For my bungalow furnace he did the same, but he verified that the condenser on top is building up too much heat and will schedule a follow up appointment to remove it and clean it out. The previous services that I had never checked on this issue before, and the last technician that I brought to check on this overheating issue, just advised me to just change the filters more often (every month or 2 vs 3 months to prevent it from overheating. Victor checked and found that it had already been overridden from the default 180 max temp to 250 so it really needs to be cleaned, as that would explain why it cycles off and on so quickly as it overheats. Victor is polite, kind and knowledgeable and knows all that there is to know about HVAC repair and service. He is highly recommended.
