    Majestic fireplace service and repair

    Alex came out and was very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained our options and completed our service request in a timely manner. The service was great and we would recommend Air Care Home Services in the future for gas fireplace repairs.

    Service, Seal and Fixed up our fireplace

    Sealing and Repair done right. My fireplace wasnt working correctly since I purchased my home. I tried multiple people, and they werent able to solve my problem. Air Care Home service came the same day to fix my fireplace and seal it. Im very happy with the service and will use it again.

    Our only call for anything gas related

    This is the second time weve called on Alex from Air Care. He is honest, reliable and knows what hes doing. We had a gas log set replaced by someone else months ago and we Hated it. Alex was able to make minor changes that made a very significant impact in the aesthetic of the fireplace. Wouldnt call anyone else and very highly recommend.

    Service vs Replacement

    We were quoted over $6000 for a new fireplace, without any repair options. Found Air Care Home Services on Homestars, Alex was knowledgeable from the first phone call. Alex scheduled an inspection and we decided to service the fireplace instead. Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and kept the area clean. Our fireplace looks and works like new with a few extras, for a fraction of the price. We are so happy! Thanks so much Alex and thank you Air Care Home Services! Niki

    Disappointing Work, even more disappointing customer service

    I hired Air Care Home Service back in mid-November for wood fireplace cleaning and inspection. I was looking forward to the use of the fireplace during the winter months, and knew it hadn't been cleaned for at least a decade. I was initially happy with the response time, service booking and pricing. Team arrived within 48 hours, completed the service very quickly (too quickly), and apparently not much soot came out of the chimney. Surprised to find that there was no inspection to the full chimney stack as advertised, I was told that only happens if there is visible damage apparent. I had no complaints initially. However, in December when the weather changed, and I prepared the fireplace for its first use of the season, several significant issues became apparent. Firstly, the team had damaged the damper. I know it was working, becaused I tested myself before I called for service. Yet after the service was completed, the latch handle had become detached from the damper panel. Secondly, it appears all of the soot that was flushed from the chimney became lodged behind the damper panel. This included debris, soot and pieces of chimney brick. Even the most cursory inspection by the team after the work was completed, would have discovered this. Yet this very obvious damage went completely ignored, either negligently or deliberately. Once I discovered the damage, I immediately attempted to contact Air Care Home Service, but all of my calls, emails and messages have been completely ignored. I didn't pay much for the service in the grand scheme of things, but they damaged my property and ghosted me after.
