    Partial construction of a backyard deck

    Afsin is and qualified engineer from Turkey and is familiar with all the local building codes. Our estimate was among the lowest of 5 and our deck was built to code. He and his crew are willing to work with you if you wish to do part of the project yourself and returned several times on his own time to assist me with some of the difficult cuts installing the composite flooring. He is very professional and polite. I would use him again for future projects or recommend him to anyone.

    Deck Replacement

    From the moment Afsin showed up at my door to provide an assessment and estimate of the work to be done to replace my existing deck I had a good feeling deep in my gut that this is a man of integrity. And Afsin, the owner of MATY Construction, did not disappoint. Not only did he show up for every appointment on time but won the bid against two other companies hands down - both in price and product! The crew of energetic carpenters and craftsmen worked tirelessly each day from sunrise to sunset, tearing down the old three tier, 550 sq-ft deck and replacing it with an upper level deck walking down to a newly sodded backyard where the lower deck once stood. The quality of their work was second to none and the team was a living example of Excellence in Motion! I could not be more pleased with the process, timeliness, cost, the team and the end result! A huge shoutout of Thanks to Afsin and his fine team at MATY Construction!

    Basement Renovation

    I am absolutely thrilled with the fantastic work Afsin and his team did on my basement renovation! From start to finish, they were true professionals and paid attention to every detail. They transformed my basement into a beautiful space, taking care of everything from framing and painting to installing stylish interior doors and a stunning vinyl floor. They even gave my washroom a complete makeover, and it looks amazing! Afsin and his team were easy to communicate with and completed the project on time, which I really appreciated.     Exterior composite stair project

    We are very happy that we found and worked with Afsin of MATY Construction Inc. to complete our backyard composite landing and staircase project in the summer of 2023. He was detailed and easy to communicate with about our project's concept, and what he thought would be ideal based on his experience. Afsin and his team completed our project in a timely and professional manner. He exceeded our expectations when the delivery that we received from the lumber yard was short some of the required hardware materials, so he volunteered to get the materials from a local store. Afsin's communications via phone, email, and text message were always punctual. Ours was a smaller project with four days initially, and then Afsin returned twice due to material issues with the lumber yard. Afsin and his team cleaned up after themselves at the end of each visit leaving the work space tidy. We're pleased that Afsin chose to work with us, appreciative of the efforts he put into our project, and very happy with the craftsmanship of our completed project. We'll be recommending Afsin and MATY Construction Inc. to other property owners in the future. He'll be our first call.

    Build Deck or Porch
    Afsin and his team were professional right from the start. They were honest and friendly. The finished deck and fence are exactly what we wanted. My family and I are very impressed with the workmanship.

    I've never been so impressed by a deck!

    Afsin and his crew did an amazing job building a deck on our balcony. They brought up issues done by the previous roofers and how they planned on fixing them and worked diligently for a few days to complete the work with a level of quality and care that sets them apart from many other contractors. We look forward to hiring MATY Construction in the near future.

    New Deck and Fence Repair

    Afsin and his team rebuilt a deck and repaired a fence for us, throughout the whole project they communicated any concerns and necessary changes very well. All the guys on the team were respectful and courteous while on site. They made sure to clean up thoroughly at the end of each work day, and even worked late and on the weekend when necessary. Afsin offered alternate suggestions to problems that arose, and was creative with the solutions. The new build looks amazing and we are very happy with the final result! We will definitely be working with Afsin and his crew of great guys for other projects! Thank you for the great service and we will see you again soon!

    From the start, the team was attentive and communicative, ensuring that I was informed of their progress every step of the way.     New Staircase and installation of a garden shed

    I recently hired Maty Construction Inc. to build a new staircase to my Deck, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The contractor Afshin was professional, knowledgeable, and always kept me informed about the progress of the project. During the progress of the work, Afshin noticed that the existing Deck was unstable and he brought it to my attention. Afshin with his creativity, he reinforced it with some reasonable increase in the estimated amount. The work was completed on time and to a high standard, with attention to detail evident in every aspect of the finished product. The cost of the project was reasonable, and I feel that I received good value for my money. I would highly recommend Maty Construction Inc. to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable Deck/staircase contractor. Further, Maty construction installed a Garden shed for me on a concrete base. The price was reasonable and the outcome was satisfactory. Afshin is reliable, skilled and does great work.
