The work Ted did for us was a stone front porch and walk on our 85 year old house. He was wonderful to work with, seemingly unflappable, despite the city's best efforts to make life difficult. His team members were all most pleasant to have around, quiet, polite but friendly and left our place neat and clean at the end of each working day. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and we continue to get rave reviews from friends and nighbours. We would recommend Ted to anyone looking for a very professional, fairly priced and expertly completed landscape job. We definitely will call on him again.

This is the second job Ted Hobson has done for us. We completely redid our backyard at our previous house, and repeated the process in May 2008 when we purchased our new home. The entire backyard was done with large deck, fencing, patio stone, regrading/landscaping incl rock gardens, plants and sod. Ted also took care of obtaining the work permit for the deck addition. His pricing is very competetive yet you feel that you are getting a quality job for your money. He is also very accessible, which is important to me, as I tend to get quite involved with the work as it is being done. Ted was always available, either on-site or by phone, to discuss other options or possible changes to the plan. We were particularly happy with the deck, which the inspector said was one of the better jobs that he has seen in a while. You cannot go wrong with Ted.

We are very pleased with the results of the work done by Ted Hobson and the people who worked with him. Ted was professional from the beginning, used quality materials and did a wonderful job in spite of having to work around the early arrival of winter. He was recommended by our Landscape Maintenance Company and was the only bid that we obtained. We felt that the estimate was reasonable and the work was subsequently completed for the budgeted price. We have had many compliments on the work that was done.

Ted and his team did a complete re-work of the front of our small semi-detached home. They replaced the sunken walkway, replaced the raised garden walls, replaced the uneven ashpalt driveway and re-built the original wooden porch. From the first meeting Ted was very professional and more willing to listen than the two other landscapers who quoted on the project. His price was very competitive. There were a number of surprises during the project but nothing really phased Ted. In each case, Ted took the time to analyze the problem, explain it carefully to me and work with me to come up with the best solution in the circumstances. His team worked diligently, but did not rush through the job. Don't let his good natured attitude and soft spoken approach fool you, Ted takes his job very seriously and it shows in the final product. I will use Ted's services again if we require more landscape work in the future and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Ted and his team were neat,professional and very detailed-oriented. Ted listened to what we wanted and provided a design that was better than we thought we get in our little yard. I would recommend Hobson Landscaping to anyone.
