Ted and his team were great! They showed up when they said they would. They did the work they said they would and they made everything look awesome! They actually went above and beyond what we expected. I would recommend Ted and his team to anyone who needs any landscaping jobs done. I love our front yard now!

We were fortunate to hire Ted and his crew for a backyard project. His designs were very practical and contemporary and met all of our needs and wants. The project was carried out in a very professional manner, and was completed on time and on budget. Ted and his crew were kind and courteous, something even our neighbors commented on. Thanks Ted for turning what wasn't a very comfortable backyard into a great new living space we look forward to enjoying for years to come.

We hired Ted to help us beautify the front yard of our newly purchased home. Ted's work was clean and efficient and he was extremely helpful providing ideas which we incorporated ultimately producing a finished product that was even better than we imagined. Great work Ted!

From the get go we knew we were talking to a professional. Ted's ability to listen to our needs and translate them into a fantastic plan was something we were really impressed with. The plan Ted presented to us required next to no revisions and the estimate was reasonable and in line with our expectations. Ted and his team were reliable, personable and hard working - a rare combination in the trade. Showing up every morning at 8AM, they kept on schedule and on budget, and they followed the plan "to a T". An added bonus...even our neighbors were impressed with them. The team was tidy, respectful and polite. We know this review might sound sugar coated, but really, that's the only way to describe Hobson Landscaping. Thanks again for our beautiful backyard!

His business name may be "Hobson Landscapes", but catch him in the off season and Ted does great interior work too. After a successful landscaping project, we called on Ted to repair a couple original plaster walls in our old home. For a common wall in the home office, Ted removed all the old lathe and plaster, added sound proof insulation, applied two layers of drywall, and finished it off with an antique brick veneer. We now have what appears to be an original exposed brick wall with minimal sound transfer. As usual, Ted worked steadily but did not rush anything and his price was reasonable. We will use Ted again for interior and exterior work.

We hired Ted for a basement reno project. From the start, Ted's honesty and laid-back yet professional, calm approach to reno surprises impressed us. He offered great solutions and tips and delivered a great looking basement bathroom we're really happy with. We look forward to hiring Hobson Landscaping again one day for outside work!

We hired Hobson Landscapes to completely dismantle our existing front deck and pathway. Ted and company did a fantastic job of listening to us and what we were looking for-- we ended up with a great looking front deck that includes a screened off area for our recycling/garbage bins. Additionally, they did a great job on our new stone pathway and retaining wall for the garden. Would highly recommend Hobson landscapes for professional workmanship, detailed drawings, and clear estimates/quotes. Very happy with the end product and looking forward to getting Ted back over in the spring to help us landscape our new front yard.

We hired Ted to do a complete overhaul of our backyard last year, which included a wood deck and stone patio, and were so pleased with the results, we asked to him to redo our front yard this year. Again we were very happy with the results and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping. He is personable and easy to talk to. He is also proficient at turning your ideas into a workable vision, while adding insight from his own professional experience, to ensure that the end result is exactly what you were looking for.

We recently had Ted from Hobson Landscaping work on our front yard. It was a rather large job that required a person with the proper know how and equipment to make happen. From the beginning we found Ted easy to speak with and helpful with product and material info. He took the time to look into our concerns and came back to us with answers for us to decide. The job was completed to our 100% satisfaction, on time and on budget. Ted has a great eye for detail and can be trusted to create a landscape that works best for your property. His crew was friendly and knowledgeable while keeping the job site clean and tidy throughout the project. My wife and I could not be happier with the job Hobson Landscaping did for us.

We had a very sketchy looking backyard with an old parking pad overlooking a neglected garage across our yard. We wanted a space to park the car but though it might be fun if it could double as a patio if we wanted to entertain friends. We're in a small semi and the back space is very limited. Hobson was a great choice. Ted was there with suggestions and ideas to help us get what we wanted while not breaking the bank. There were several hick-ups along the way (like finding a concrete parking pad under our concrete parking pad) but Ted and his crew took it in stride. We ended up with a nice pergola over a patio stone surface with a privacy fence along the back and side. It's suitable for entertaining, and when not it use, I can park the car there too. Over all Ted was very approachable, friendly and courteous. His crew was equally friendly and kind. We even had a hick-up with a neighbour of ours with all the construction/disruption and Ted was sensitive to the situation and helped mend the friendship fence too. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again myself when it's time to build a back deck, and landscape the front yard. Thanks Ted!
