NO stress! Able was professional,punctual,friendly and curtious!All our things were moved carefully and quickly! They knew what they were doing! Steve provided us with boxes and wardrobe boxes which were fabulous!! Steve and the moving guys were amazing and we thank them for taking special care of all our things...and there were alot of things to move! We will definitely recommend these guys to anyone moving and wanting reliable and exceptional service.

My mom and I hired Able movers to help her move from her not so nice bachelor apt. in Weston to a much nicer one in Etobicoke. 2 moving companies declined even coming to the building as it is subsidized housing. The guys...(Tim and John??) were on time, considerate and very fast. They were careful and moved quickly without damaging a single item. They arrived at 9am with good equipment, new wardrobe boxes & blankets. We were done at 12noon despite the super slow elevator!! I had previously used Moveworks in July, but was hesitant to use them again as I didn't think they were all that great for the price they charged. I don't understand the previous comments from unhappy customers....as I would recommend Able Movers highly!

I hired Able Moving because they were a family run business that assured me they took pride in their company and they operated a clean facility for the storage of the contents of my condo. Not only did the price change (considerable increase from the original quote) but when my belongings were returned they were damaged or all together missing. My couch had been infested with rats so they didn't even bother delivering it to me. My antique chest had legs broken off and missing. Some of my storage bins were returned broken and empty and my very expensive tool kit was never returned....seems like the tool kit went to the "front" of the truck not to the back with the rest of my belongings. I have called the company a number of times. The woman on the phone was very rude and no one in their office would return my calls so I went to their office. After seeing their warehouse I had to warn everyone DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR STORAGE OR MOVING!!! Their only response was to have the rat infested couch "cleaned" and returned to me. It was the worst moving experience of my life and I hope no one else has to go through what I went through. Seriously I would move everything by myself with a mule and store it on the street before I would step inside their rat infested warehouse or have one of their workers anywhere near my belongings!!!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did!!!!!!

We recently moved from Markham down south of Highway 401. We had our stuff in temporary storage with them. The move out of the house was okay. On the morning of the move into the new house we were informed that the moving truck had broken down. Luckily for us, we were not moving out of an apartment where there are scheduled times for moves. It wasn't until in the evening that the trunk came with our belongings. They did not use runners throughout the areas that the men walked through and so dirtied the floors. They did not use adequate padding on the furniture, or if they did, they removed them in the trunk. So a few items were banged against sides of doors but luckily were not damaged. They did not pad the wooden stair railings as they should have. The men were very slow. We have used a different company in the past that was excellent (we did not use them this time because they were completely booked up). Service from this Able Moving company paled in comparison. Definitely would not use them again.
