I couldn’t be happier with my choice to use Canada Custim Shutters. The product is great and the customer service (which is more important) is just as good. Thank you Nick for being honest and informative about your product. I’m very pleased with my blinds and shutters. The guy who came to install was also very pleasant. Considering I had almost 50 windows, the price was very reasonable.

Canada Custom Shutters just finished installing new Plantation Shutters in our condo, in 6 different rooms/areas. We have many large windows, and the shutters look fabulous! Nick came out to provide a quote for us within a few days of our emailed request. While he was there, he measured everything precisely, so that when we decided to proceed, no additional measurement visit would be required. We got a few different quotes, but in the end we felt we would receive the best quality product, service, and price, from Canada Custom Shutters, so we went ahead with the order. The shutters were made with only 3 weeks lead time, and were installed on the agreed upon date, with no delays or issues, and everything was exactly as requested. Nick was a pleasure to deal with. He completely understood our requirements, was very easy to talk to, and after our initial consultation, it felt like we were old friends. We also challenged Nick with a rather unusual request to make shutters to close off our laundry closet (the machines stick out a few inches beyond the closet walls). We engineered a concept and made a cardboard mockup, then Nick measured everything and totally ran with it. With photos, video, and notes in hand, he took the concept back to his shop, and they were able to manufacture shutters and framing to build a wood shutter "door" for our laundry closet. The end result looks absolutely fabulous, and we are so happy that Nick accepted the challenge! He produced a fantastic result! He even showed up on installation day to install the laundry "doors" himself! The shutters for all of the windows look amazing! They are high quality wood shutters, and they are so sleek and white; this was a purchase worth every penny spent... We're so pleased with the end result! Jim came to do the installation. He was very friendly and polite, worked efficiently and quietly, and was very particular about making sure everything was well-aligned, even, secure, straight, and cleanly caulked. The installation was completed within one day, including the laundry "door"... Not an easy feat, considering how many windows we had to cover! All in all, we are thrilled with our new Plantation Shutters, and they even have a lifetime warranty! Canada Custom Shutters was definitely the right choice. We'd highly recommend them... you won't be disappointed!

We hired Canada Customs Shutters after seeing their work in a Canadian magazine. Harvey was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to recommend the best California shutters for our new condo's unique window design. Mark and Jim worked diligently to install our new custom shutters. They quality of the wood is solid and the windows look amazing. We had a custom shutter made to complement existing shutters in our living room. It is a half-moon shape, and not at all even, so a tricky job to take on. Canada Custom Shutters gave us the best quote, and we are so pleased with our shutter! The first time they came to install it, we did not like the design that had been done and there had been a miscommunication about what look we wanted. They re-did our shutter, no hassle, and ensured we were completely satisfied. THAT is customer service. We highly recommend this company.

I chose Canada Custom Shutters (CCS) because I did not like the look of vinyl and thus searched for wood alternatives. Secondly, I had a series of angled windows to cover so needed a custom design. The reviews of CCS by customers were positive and it was a local manufacturer A principal with CCS arrived shortly after I contacted them, discussed the options, showed me samples of the construction of the shutter and after preliminary measurements gave me a quote. It was obvious that the angled windows, while a challenge, were very doable. The final price was exactly what was quoted even though the installer had to modify one shutter because of uneven framing of one angled window. I really like the custom look of having frames and shutters on the windows that were painted by CCS to exactly match the trim in the room. CCS did the painting as the shutters were constructed so it looks great. This large A frame loft is defined by its windows. Wooden custom-made shutters are not the cheapest alternative but are worth every penny. The shutters are what grab your eye as you enter. They are truly elegant.

Before homestars was around, I found Mark's family-run company by a recommendation from my brother who had shutters made for his home. Not only was Mark the nicest contractor that we got estimates from, but he was part owner, fabricator, and one of the installers. Our house was outfitted with 38, 3.5" wood plantation shutters, of which 2 were fabulous arched sunburst panels. Since it was installed 5+ years ago, I can say that the fit and finish of the product held up well. I recently replaced all windows and contacted Mark for help in reducing the width of 8 of the panels and replacement parts for some of the magnets. Mark did not hesitate to help and gave me complimentary replacement parts. He goes beyond what I would expect and I had to hop on here to let you know that they make quality shutters. I have referred family and friends over the years and they concur that the experience has been absolutely positive.

It’s not very often that you can say a company exceeded your expectations, but that’s exactly what my experience with Canada Custom Shutters was like. I had originally hired another shutter company, coordinating my new window installation to their precise specs. One week before the window install I got word the shutter company was out of business! I freaked out and turned to review sites like this one to find a new company. After reading wonderful things about Canada Custom Shutters I gave them a call. Imagine my surprise when none other but the owner, Goran answered my call and assured me they could take care of me. Their sales representative Nick arrived that same day, reassuring me they could take over the job. When the window install got complicated, Nick was there, first on the phone with the installers and then in person to assure the new windows would easily accommodate a seamless shutter install. Literally three weeks later the shutters were ready, installation set up immediately according to my schedule. Installation was complicated as my older home meant window frames were uneven and crooked. Jim really took his time, ensuring a perfect fit, even had the quality assurance manager come out and take a look during the installation. After completion, I wanted to paint my window trim to match the new shutters. When I had trouble getting an exact match, Nick was there once more dropping off a paint sample to help ensure a perfect match. Wow! What service, honestly… I know this review is long, but it is obvious how much Goran and his team care about their customers. Oh and I forgot to mention the shutters look fabulous, function beautifully, and come with a lifetime home owner warranty. Doesn’t get any better than that!
