Discovered our water heater was leaking last night. Called Reliance and they had a service technician (Tyler) come out today. Tyler came in and determined we needed to have our water heater replaced. I was impressed he had a new one in the truck already and could replace it right away. Tyler explained because of new building code, I needed to have my venting pipe replaced and they cost would be my responsibility. He was very good at explaining why. I was already aware I needed to replace the pipes so it was no surprise. I had planned on replacing them in the fall while I relocated them to vent to the side of the house rather than the back where my deck is. Tyler check in with the office and said it would be no problem for him to relocate the vent, in fact it would save me some money because it was a shorter run so less pipe would be required. Tyler called in for some assistance (Scott) to help with the venting. I must say I was very impressed with how fast and efficient Tyler worked! When Scott arrived he was quick to get up to speed on what was needed. Both Scott and Tyler displayed excellent team team work and professionalism.
Overall I am extremely impressed with the service technicians Reliance employs. Both Tyler and Scott are definitely an asset to the company. Professional, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable.
