    Service, product

    Today a very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly man named Richard Knicely employee #1568, came out to my home in Guelph. My furnace was not working. My husband and I feared we needed a new furnace. He quickly made an assessment of the situation, stuck a thermometer on something inside and asked a few questions with my concern in mind. He concluded I needed a new motor and was satisfied with the shape of my furnace (something about my heat exchanger) was worth a new motor. I felt safe with him in my house, he was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. Plus he fixed my problem on the spot. He replaced my motor with a brand new one. My furnace has been working since he left and it sounds better than it has in years. Thank you. Sincerely, Sue Nuttall

    furnace maintenance

    Nick C. was our service technician today and completed all maintenance work on our furnace in an outstanding fashion! He arrived promptly within the arranged time, wore shoe protectors even though he was working in our basement, was product knowledgeable and was in no rush to complete a thorough inspection of our equipment. He explained what he was doing when I asked for clarification about the condition of our rather old furnace and even assisted me in replacing a complicated air filter which was not part of his job but he was more than willing to take on. Nick also gave very good advice when I questioned him about replacing our equipment and the pros and cons of renting and owning equipment. He left us some information and even arranged for a representative to contact us at our request. Nick is a dedicated and friendly employee for Reliance Home Comfort that I would eagerly welcome back into our home for future work.

    all excellant

    We have recently purchased a Rheem-Ruud heating + cooling system from Reliance-Home-Comfort. Their sales rep.Murray Stark came to our home + explained in detail the benefits of the high-efficiency vs.our old less efficeint furnace.Murry was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with.The techs.that were sent to remove + replace the old furnace were very qualified + did an excellent job of it.Our thanks to Mike +Ian.We have because of the present cooler,damp weather had to run the new system + are very pleased at how quiet it runs + how balanced the heat is throughout house.We now look forward to lower energy costs in the future.     Comfort protection plan

    Bad start - Great finish! Furnace wouldn't start. First tech showed up on time, nice kid, didn't have clue. Second tech - Bruce / 3158 came at 7 pm, had the parts and got it fixed.

    water tank

    On October 21 2013 we call reliance because we had a leak. Omar from Reliance came. he was very nice, and super polite. He fixed the problem and told us what it was and how he fixed it, he communicated with us, asked if we had any other problems with our water tank, in all the experience we had with him was great. We had not so great experience with others coming from reliance, with communication, but Omar was great!

    Furnace repair/servicing

    Steve (ID 1502) did a great job servicing our furnace this past Saturday. He was very friendly, helpful and informative. I liked how he took the time to explain things which helped me better understand the source of the problem.

    Furnace and Air Conditioner

    We had a home comfort review with Dean Timpany to go over our current equipment, and we were quite impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of heating and air conditoning systems. We have purchased a new system through Reliance based on the recomendations provided by Dean!

    New Furnace

    On August 20, 2013 a Home Reliance salesperson in Thunder Bay, Tim (ID #5401), came to my house to give me a quote on a new furnace. He looked at my current furnace quickly and told me that my Heat Exchanger had two hairline cracks on the far left and the far right. In good faith, I believed what he told me to be true. My Heat Exchanger had been changed approximately 3 years ago. I did find it odd that my Heat Exchanger was cracked but that is what I was told. I was worried that my furnace may be tagged and shut down, so I decided to go ahead with the installation of the new furnace . When the Home Reliance Technician removed my old furnace, I asked him if there were hairline cracks in my heat exchanger. He said no. I then called Tim to ask him why he misled me about my Heat Exchanger being cracked. He denied that he said that but I have everything written down from the day he came to give me the quote and exactly what he said to me. Why would anyone change a furnace if it was not broken? I then called this salesperson’s boss in Burlington, Nick, on Friday September 20th, 2013, for him to call me so that I could discuss the problem. He did not return my call. I called him again on Monday September 23, 2013 and left him another message. He still has not returned my call. I feel that the Home Reliance salesperson was very dishonest and I feel that Home Reliance has been unwilling to respond appropriately to my complaint. I would like to deal with this situation as soon as possible. Joe Coda - Thunder Bay

    Product and installation

    We originally started with a rental hot water tank and bought the service package for our furnace and A/C. We have been very please with the service provided by Reliance on the few calls we have made. We booked a consultation and received very good information on Reliance HVAC systems and decided to rent a new system. The technicians were here the next day to install the furnace and A/C. The installation was very professional and very clean. My congratulations and thanks to Janusz, Christine, John, and the London Reliance Team.

    Hot water tank not working

    Andrew #2407 showed up to fix issue he was great. Keep me informed while he was fixing issue, did some other maintenance to make sure tank was running well. The appointment was for between 8-1 and he showed up at 9:45, thanks for not showing up at 2.
