    Yearly maintence on our Furnace and Air Condition as per our maint. contaract

    Wally, a service rep. came to do a yearly maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner. He was prompt. congenial and very knowledgable.His work was timely and efficient He was able to answer questions that we had regarding our equipment.

    Water Heater Installation

    Last Saturday I called Reliance to report a problem with my water heater. Within 10 minutes a technician appeared; ten minutes later he determined that a new water heater was required and immediately set-up an installation appointment for the following Monday. At exactly the appointed hour an installation technician, Daryl, arrived. He quickly got about his work: he made recommendations as to the type of tanks available and thoroughly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each; he removed the old tank; installed the new one; cleaned up any mess that was made and was out the door within the hour. A completely satisfactory experience.

    Replacment of Defective Hotwater Tank.

    The Employee #0985 was on time and showed up even though we did not answer his call that showed (Private Number) We figured it was another telemarketer. He came in and rolled out a carpet to protect our stairs. Inspected the defective tanks and confirmed our findings. Then Quickly disconnected plumbing and gas connections as though he had been doing this for 20 years. But he looked about 23. Then had the old hot water tank out and new one in in no time. Hooked everything up soldered new pluming in like a wiz. And did a soap solution test on the gas hook up without having to be asked. Very professional.

    hot water tank

    I called Reliance as I had no hot water. The contractor, seasons Change Mechanical called me within a few minutes and a technician was promptly at my door a couple of hours later. Seasons Change Mechanical explained the problem and fixed it promptly. I'm so glad I rent from Reliance and they have people like Seasons Change Mechanical to do their work. Thanx guys for the A1 service!

    Rental Hot Water Tank Repair

    Our rental tank stopped working yesterday afternoon and I called up Reliance to schedule a repair. Rock, the service technician, was very friendly, fast and efficient and he quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Great service!

    I would like to comment on the professionalism and knowledge that Andrew Power displayed while he was at our house. he made us feel very comfortable in dealing with him And Reliance. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends and I thank Reliance for sending over such a great young man

    AC unit repair

    Joe from Flan Air came to repair our broken AC's compressor unit. Flan Air is subcontracted by Reliance for this kind of work. The capacitor and fan motor needed to be replaced. Joe was very professional, knowledgeable and honest. He even came earlier than expected (on a Sunday) to replace the motor. It was greatly appreciated since the weather was starting to get warmer and the AC would be needed. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone!

    Water Heater Installation

    I called on Mar. 13 for two water heaters installation and confirmed by Reliance the installation day was on Mar. 17. On the day after the installer came and checked, he said today he cannot do it because he had short of some parts for the work. He promised that next day he or someone will definitely come to do it. I therefore asked him how much I need to pay. He did not ask for any installation fee. The following day became miserable for me. First it came with two sub contractors and then later, followed with a local branch manager of Reliance told these two sub contractors to leave, saying they should not come today. I told this manager that because the building had no hot water for a week already in the middle of cold winter and also the work should have been done yesterday, he just kept telling those installers to leave. At last I begged him and he finally said unless you pay $375, they can stay and do the job. I felt helpless and being threaten by this guy. Eventually two tanks were installed on the same day. On Mar 18, I reported my situation to Reliance Escalation Team and had the case no RCW5473998. It kept me several days without any response. I make a phone call for the follow-up on Mar. 21 and the lady said she will reply me after contacting local branch. Until right now, I haven't got any response from Reliance but a bill asking me to pay for the installation. It seems complaints by customers to their company do not do any good at all. I am upset and frustrated by the decision I made to choose Reliance Home Comfort at the first place. If you are considering Reliance for your home appliance or service, you need to think twice before making that decision.

    Dean Timpany was very helpful in us desiding what we wanted ;he answered all our questions helped us in determening the size & type of unit best to suit our needs;was glad to have met him &would recomend to anyone looking to get a new furnice & ac.

    A/C Service EXCEEDED my Expectations

    We have an older furnace and AC unti with the Reliance Protection Plan. Called Reliance on Thursday as cenral air would not work. Serviceman arrived at 7:30 am next morning (Friday). Quickly dignosed a transformer and contact as being a problem. Fixed these and determined there was a refridgerant leak. He determined this was in the furnace evaporator and was covered under the plan. Ordered the part and said it would be delivered to our house on Monday or Tuesday; it arrived the same day Friday. I called to book the followup service call and they had the second serviceman at our house the same day, Friday, to replace the evaporator; about a 4 hour job. By 5:30 pm Friday we had working A/C. My expections were exceeded significantly. Two different servicemen, Dave and James, were prompt, efficient, and professional!! They set my expectations, and I was happy with the timing. Then Reliance exceeded my expectations with much faster than expected part delivery and then much faster than expected repair service. I would highly recommend this service to everyone. Thank you, Reliance, Dave and James!!
