    Hot Water Heater

    Our hot water heater sprung a leak just as I was leaving for work. A single call to the service center (not needing my account info as they track incomming phone #'s... <Smart!> was nice. Within hours, a service tech (Daryl # 2109) arrived at the door and did his thing. Polite, courteous, and effecient. Daryl did everything a home owner could ask for.. boot covers, stair runners, wiped his feet, explained what he was doing and what I as the home owner needed to do and why. Then he cleaned up and left everything orderly. Perfect. Thanks for the great service!

    Hot Water Heater Installation

    Daryl #2109 did an excellent job. Efficient and informative, very professional. Was on time and got the job done in the allotted time frame. We are very pleased with this service and would recommend to friends and family

    water tank

    After a very poor response from the initial call, through 2 supervisors we finally spoke with Cindy who was extremely helpfull and understanding. Thank you! Someone who actually cared. It took longer than we would have liked to get hot water but Cindy handled all the issues very professionally. The serviceman was Joe #1645. We found him to be very knowledgable, dedicated to his job and his work was meticulous. We'd also like to thank Shane the district manager. Constructive criticism: Train first response call employees to not sell customers other services and plans while we are in the middle of a flood.

    Service #2

    They have stumbled many times since furnace went in. I was able to get names of people to make things right but did this on my own. Better if it was correct the first time. Be carful and keep all your paperwork and sales sheets!!!! It will help in the end.

    hot water tank

    Hot water tank replacement

    Mike R from Reliance came this past Sunday to replace our water heater which had sprung a leak; he was awesome and did a great job. The tech on the phone initially told us that someone would be out between 8 am and 5 pm to look at the unit; we placed the call to Reliance on Saturday morning. I was surprised and relieved to receive a phone call from Mike at 8:20 am that he would be over in the next 10 minutes to take a look at the tank. Within seconds of looking at the tank Mike knew that it needed to be replaced and set out to remove the old unit and replace it with a new one. Mike did a great job making sure the tank was installed properly and fully functionally before he left. He even took the time to explain to me what the optimal setting was to keep my water heater at and why. Before this I was thinking of purchasing my own water heater but after the service I received I will defiantly continue my service with Reliance.

    Water heater

    Joey D. (#0977) answered a call for my heater repair. Joey phoned half an hour ahead to let me know he was on his way, he was very nice upon arrival, even put on some booties on his shoes to ensure not get my floor dirty - that was not necessary but I appreciated his care for my household. He very quickly asessed that a new unit would be needed, he didn't have one with him but quickly made the arrangements to have another technician deliver it to him at my house. In the meantime, he was quick in dismantling and removing the unit from my basement. Before I even noticed he had placed red carpets from the entrance of my house all the way to my basement to protect my flooring and carpet. Most of all though, Joey was a very knowledgeable technician and genuinely nice man who inspired trust. He was quick to install the unit that arrived and took the time to explain to me the new unit, how it works, the proper settings and care for the unit. Joey made me feel at ease with the repair/exchange and his attitude and honesty made me trust Reliance and made me feel that choosing Reliance was definitely the right choice. Thank you Reliance for hiring people like Joey D. And thank you joey for such a great service and attention beyond what was required.

    Annual Furnace Cleaning

    Service man was awesome! Getting him there was nothing short of a nightmare. Epic Communications Fail. Get rid of Philippine Call Centre. Dispatcher in Canada - very rude! Ready to brand company Un-Reliant Home DIS-Comfort!

    hot water heater repair

    I own a duplex in the Hamilton area, and BOTH my HWH'ers started leaking. I called Reliance on Monday, and Naomi offered to send a Tech to my house that day. As I was not available to be there until the following day. An appointment was made, and when the repairman showed up (on time), he was respectful (love those booties!), knowledgeable, and had the problem diagnosed, and repaired in 20 minutes. THAT is why I'll continue to rent my water heaters from Reliance.....

    Furnace and Air Conditioner Install

    Reliance installers Bill T and Jon were great. All the time they were here, they were careful not to damage anything and were extremely clean during and after the work. Both of them had very positive attitudes and explained to us how the system works and how it saves energy with just enough technical detail. Installation was free on our rental a/c and furnace.We found the long hours they were here a very positive experience for us!
