    Water Heater

    After 9 years of Reliance water heater rental I am replacing it with a new one, non-rental. I have been a good customer but now they have the nerve to demand nearly $200 to collect it once its been drained etc. or $50 if I drop to off at their depot. I cannot afford to pay for the pickup so will drop off their unit....... however, if i damage my vehicle or injure myself I will sue their butts, its their property and has been pad for many times over and they expect me to carry the

    water heater...

    I have always rented my water heaters from Reliance. Mostly the experience was ok, until now. Yesterday my "newish" heater died. It started to drip out the bottom. Of course I was concerned about my basement flooding, so I followed their phone helps advice and turned the tank and my water supply off. That was 6 o'clock yesterday. Phone help said that they would send help between 8am and 1pm the next day. No shower and teeth brushing for me that night or morning, but I sucked it up for the team. At 1 no one had showed, so I phoned again. Phone assistance assured me that it had been a very busy day and that the tech would be at my house by 3pm. (remember I am trapped in a house with no water). 3 o'clock comes and goes, and I phone again. Alex answers this time and says that another contractor has been contacted and that they should be there within the hour. At 4:30 pm I phoned again. Contractor would be on the way they said... that he would be phoning me. Contractor phones at 5 and says that his "boys" had gone home and would not be able to make it at all! He said "if I had known about this, this morning I'm sure that I would have held my boys back to make sure that it was fixed! He said the best he could do was Sunday morning. (remember the water heater broke late Friday afternoon). I phoned again, and this time the next phone "help" assured me that a new contractor would call within the next 3 hours!!!!!! I am not buying it! I was told that they have had a very busy day, and that "lots of people have been waiting as long as I have!!!!!!!!" What a ridiculous argument that is... I'm supposed to feel better that I am not the only one that lost a weekend to Reliance???Now I'm sure I've reached the last stall tactic of the day. Its 6:30pm now and haven't heard a thing. At over 70 bucks to rent this thing, I fail to see what service I am getting. Definitely need to look into buying my own. May 13th update (The Sunday after calling on the Friday). Contractor came at 8:30 in the morning! Did a great Job and Reliance is rectifying any possible fees attached to the heater as I was inconvenienced the entire weekend. Mandy at Reliance emailed me as soon as they became aware of this "social media site" and has done her very best to make everything right. A really bad start - but at least they tried to make it right in the end.

    System Installation

    My commendations to Reliance for the professional staff they have. Rodney Schunker was our in home advisor. We installed a system 5 months ago with his consultation. At first we were hesitant about the outcome as the competition had cheaper pricing. The customer service provided by Rodney over the course of the months and the prompt response from Reliance office as well has WOW"d me. I have no hesitation in recommending Reliance and their committment to service. With the dedication of staff as such as Rodney, no wonder Reliance can deliver on their promises. Kudos

    smart Air Furnace

    About a month ago I was in the market for a furnace. I was receiving multiple quotes. I called a sales rep by the name of Patrick Porzuczek. He was referred to me by a collegue. I was much amazed by the professionalism and how mch he new about furnaces and guided me through the whole process. I told him I was having 4 quotes and some much lower then his. He never once talked bad about competition. He walked me through a presentation showing me there is a lot more to this purchase then just a name on the furnace and a cheap price. Reliance home comfort is a top notch company. As he promised and explained to me about the installation, properly sized my home, and delivered on every part as he told me he would. I was a skeptic and I need a furnace because I had no heat. Congratulation Reliance you earned my business and I have been refering Reliance and Patrick to my friends and family. We have heat , an amazing product, and great service. Happy home owner and Reliance customer in Brampton

    Furnace and AC Maintenance

    Technician/Tune Up Specialist Mike Zevallos provided a great customer service experience. Showed up on time and answered all of my questions in a polite and understanding fashion. Being the new home owner, I wanted to make sure that everything was working properly and efficiently, so that myself and my family were safe and could avoid any surprise expenditures for the coming year.

    Furnace

    Furnace installed march1,2012 has been out of service for over 30 hours!!have spoken to over8 service reps, company set time to repair today at 4, am still on hold 15minutes this time, have been told furnace will not be looked at until sometime tomorrow, the third day since. It broke down,again it is 8 week old, Was on hold with this same supervisor at 8:15 They now say they will send service people on Wednesday!! But, will not give me a time. I repeatedly asked for the corporate customer service dept number and was denied access to the number. I had a tankless hot water heater, A.C. And furnace installed. . . Worse mistake hiring Reliance I have ever made

    Furnace

    We had Reliance Home Comfort service us for our furnace, in which they did a good job to repair, only it was time consuming waiting for the technician to arrive.

    The information Reliance Home Comfort provided to us was informative, however it didn't help in resolving our furnance issue.Had no easy exhaust blower. Therefore, didn't help in getting issue resolved.

    Furnace maintenance

    We were satisfied that the staff did maintanance on our furnace, and showed up. Only thing, we had issues with our Billing,with having difficulty to get a follow up to resolve.
