    Kitchen Plumbing

    Reliance sent Kyle who is an experienced plumber to my home. Kyle provided professional service and even had an apprentice with him named Zara. They worked well together and provided excellent service. Especially appreciated the thorough clean up after the job. Kyle answered all my questions and was very courteous. Thanks Kyle and Zara.

    Plumber

    I have very serious problem in the entire house , but with Reliance everything easy when you have protection plan with then, thank you very much

    Plumbing

    I had a leak coming from my shower facet. An apt was made within 24 hrs and the service was prompt and courteous. He took the time to explain the situation and also show me how to turn off the water from the main line which I appreciated. He happen to have the part I needed in his van prepared for what to expect and because of this I was not charged for the part that was needed. Having this foresight saved time and money (as he did not have to order it) I believe he had a spare kicking around; and Im grateful his attention to detail as well as his pleasant demeanour.

    Water Heater

    I rented this water heater from this company and shortly after I sold my house. I informed them on a number of occasions and they resorted to any EXCUSE not to cancel my renal contract. I finally had to threaten them to take the matter to the court and they promised and reassured that they would cancel and send me the confirmation. They have now "shamelessly" sent me a "friendly reminder" that my credit card on the account is about to expire ??!! I have written my last warning to them and then I will take the matter to the court and after winning (which I WILL win) I will take it to the press. People should know renting from them is worse than a dysfunctional marriage as there is no divorce in this case!!!!!

    Furnace inspection

    Furnace inspection technician Patrick arrived right on schedule and was courteous, knowledgeable and respectful in all aspects of his visit and with diagnostics he performed. In fact he went above 10 stars for in providing useful information and advice for our existing services and future considerations. I feel confident that having this inspection completed by Reliance makes our home ready for the winter and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the security of competent inspection to ensure our home is safe and comfortable for winter.

    hotwater tank and water softner

    our replaced got water tank caught fire on Sunday when i called to book a service i told them that there was a fire from the water and the wires. call line booked a service for the next morning. no instructions as to what we should do. when the technician came she said did you turn breaker off? we said no we removed the insulation thats it. i am not a plumber this is why i rent. see pictures. my water softner hasnt worked proper all year the plumbers keep temperarly fixing and the last one sent my water away to find solutions still no call from service manager. still no working water softner either this was two weeks ago

    Solved my low water pressure

    Getting that softener fixed totally leveled up my water pressure game. It used to be this weak trickle, but now it's powerful so I'm happy.

    Water heater installation

    The installation of my new water heater was done on time and with the utmost care. I even got the red carpet treatment (yes, they put down red rugs so not to damage or soil our floors). The technicians were courteous and efficient. They were in and out in about an hour. I am very pleased with the service. Thank you!

    Let the buyer beware

    Horrible service. I have been a customer for 31 years. I had a flood and was advised by the tech that the hot water tank should be replaced. Stated Reliance will send me a bill for the used hot water tank. I had to make a decision to replace based on the tech's advice. He could not tell me what I would be charged as it was an old unit. Stated Reliance will not cover the damage as it was a flood. Insurance won't pay as it is not owned by the homeowner. It is rented. Reliance charges me $2130, I look up the value of the same unit from a Reliance tech, he states a new unit only costs $1500. I called customer retention; was given a lot of I am sorry this is our policy. I was charged a replacement value etc. for the unit. After 31 years I decided to cancel this service. Reliance did not care, just said, that is fine you can cancel. They then stated I had to pay a $200 for a cancel my account fee and $150 to come pick the rented unit and drainage fee. WOW charge me to not do business with you. So much for 31 years of being a customer. DO not recommend this organization.
