    Gas HWT replacement (Tony A. #4175)

    Hot water tank leaked and flooded the basement. While Reliance does not classify this as an emergency and send a technician after hours, they did send one the next day to investigate, drain the tank and scheduled replacement within 24 hours. We lucked out having TONY A. (#4175) for the installation! Thank you! Thank you! So professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Tony had a really long and difficult installation, working in tight spaces around restoration fans, dehumidifiers and the furnace. He installed the tank and gas venting pipes and then had to repipe all the gas venting on the old furnace to bring it up to code. He worked tirelessly, explaining everything as he went along and always with a smile. Before he left he ensured all the taps worked and even fixed the kitchen tap filter. He left us with his business card and told us to call for anything, anytime. If you are a Reliance customer in Ottawa and ever need service, be sure to ask for Tony. His level of service is incredible! Brian L.

    Broken Hot Water Tank

    Receive excellent service from Chris, our Reliance Home Comfort Technician. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and fixed our leaking/non-functional hot water tank quickly and efficiently. He also took care to keep the area clean. Thanks Chris!

    Was tricked by this company, be very very careful with Reliance Home Comfort

    This company does a lot of commercials but don't be fooled by their greed. I've never seen a business that operates at this size and is this shady. I'm writing this review to help other home owners. I'm close to suing this company. Please read closely to avoid being tricked by them. We have a water heater from reliance and it was time to service it for maintenance. The technician came and serviced it, seemed nice and all, and mentioned they started a new business with pluming insurance and said if I was interested he could provide a brochure and info. I said sure send me some info. A couple weeks later we receive a bill for this pluming service. We were confused. Neither my wife nor I signed up to this, no one even remotely agreed, no signature. How is it possible and legal that a service is added to an account without documentation and signature? This company should be ashamed for the greed demonstrated by this type of business practice allowed. Even if it's a human error (which they did not admit), their systems allowed it without signature or any type of home owner agreement. Do you know what this means? This means they can charge you extra any time. Professional systems have guardrails to prevent companies from doing this even if they wanted to. This isn't the worst, the worst part is after calling into customer service, instead of trying to help me, they were aggressively pushing us to buy an AC, after I tried to get the conversation back to resolving this illegal charge and plan being added, they actually booked an appointment without consent. This is illegal. I'll be writing a report to BBB (Better Business Bureau) as well. I had actually on that very call tell the rep to cancel that appointment that I did not make! lol it's getting ridiculous. Then she transfers me to the billing department to deal with this illegally added plan and get this, the rep showed extreme desire to not do anything about this and made up excuse after excuse that made no sense. Now they suggest me and my wife both call in at the same time and even then they did not guarantee it was going to be removed upon our request and the illegally added charge (already charged) refunded. Stay far far away. They do a lot of commercials but don't be fooled by their greed. I've never seen a business that operates at this size and is this shady.

    Excellent service yet again

    Amarjit was fantastic. Pleasant, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He identified the problem with my AC within minutes and fixed it even faster and made sure it worked. He also made some good recommendations about my HVAC and inspected the other equipment; he found an issue with the water heater pipes that he fixed right away. He was a pleasure to deal with and I’ll definitely be hoping Reliance sends him again next time I have a service call. Thank you!

    Hot water heater repair

    We have a service maintenance plan for our Reliance gas/hot water heater. Woke up in morning to no hot water so called shortly after 8 am & given a service appt for same day between 10 am & 2 pm. Technician Matt M arrived before 2 pm & identified problem quickly, a failed sensor which he replaced. We found Matt to be extremely pleasant & professional. He also fully explained our equipment problem. We had hot water again within an hour. No cost whatsoever as parts & labour covered under maintenance plan. Prompt & excellent service ... very satisfied once again with Reliance's service!

    maintenace service on AC and furnace

    I called Reliance for maintenance service for my AC and furnace. The service was very easy to book. Vedesh the technician did an exceptional job and also replaced a part on the furnace that had to be replaced. Thanks very much.

    Air Conditioner annual service

    The two service technicians Rick and Mark were very professional, knowledge and accommodating. The first thing Rick noticed that the patio stone the A/C was sitting on had sunk a bit so the unit was not leveled. He immediately went to his van and got two old hockey pucks and the two guys leveled it. They were awesome. The service went very well. Great job guys.

    Furnace and A/C Install

    Betty Burton from Reliance who signed us up and used install partners G & J Heating and Cooling Nick, Jay, Milli and Aaron came to the house before 8:30am left before 2pm and provided us the most efficient and professional installation of our New Furnace and Air Conditioner. These four fellows worked extremely well together, joked yet maintained their focus on the job at hand. We are very pleased with the installation.

    hot water tank repair

    I was impressed. The technician called me and told me where he was coming from and how long it would take him to get to my home. He actually showed up on time!!!! He was very polite and friendly, fixed the tank and was on his way.

    Excellent service Peter D #110349

    Reliance always have excellent customer service if I ever have to contact them via phone. Today an engineer called Peter D attended to fix a broken mixer valve on the hot water furnace. He was very professional, polite and explained everything so clearly. Many thanks Peter!
