    Leaky Hot Water Tank

    I called Reliance Saturday morning at 6am after I found water all over our basement floor. The tech was out by 11am and instructed us the tank needed to be replaced. I was not pleased that they were not able to come back and do this until Monday 10am - 2pm. However the tech that called me and did the actual replacement was excellent (Adam #3755). He was very friendly and answered all of my questions. He also offered his professional opinion on my personal situation. He replaced the tank quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this tech and would have ranked the overall satisfaction higher if we didn't have to wait 2 days to have hot water.

    Maintenance check furnace/AC

    Called to confirm time of arrival, and arrived on time. He was very friendly and informative of what had been checked. He also told me what to expect with my furnace as it is really old, recommending it be replaced in the near future.

    Peter was very helpful. Analyzed the issue quickly. Discussed the costs transparently with me. Performed the service skillfully. And also advised me what to do to follow up for the items that couldn't be done on this visit.

    New gas water heater (rented)

    The cost was associated with replacing the old ABS black plastic vent, which is no longer allowed. Ryan did an excellent job and everything was done within a couple of hours.

    Hot water tank

    Our hot water wouldn't warm up water called reliance 1 tech came cleaned some part and left. 1/2 hr later no hot water again. Call again different tech comes does the same thing other tech did. 1 hr later no water AGAIN. Now again another call and wait till 7:30 till another tech came in checked it out told us I'll be right back gonna go to shop and get the part I need. comes back puts it in bam we got hot water and still working. Thanks to the tird tech tonfigure it out

    Excellent service

    We discovered a small water leak in basement. I called Reliance in the afternoon and was told a technician would call "between 7 and 11 AM" next day. Chris H. called at 7:30 and arrived 30 minutes later. He replaced 2 drain valves and repaired the toilet water supply valve and was gone in less than 1 hour. A very knowledgeable & pleasant employee! I am very satisfied.

    WORK DONE WITHOUT CUSTOMER'S CONSENT AND PUSHING SALES

    On your receipt it says 'Straight Forward Pricing' and 'Satisfaction Guarantee' ...yet I felt like I got TAKING ADVANTAGED OF today. When I called to get a quote for the diagnostic service, I was told I would get a discount...When the technician came, no discount was applied for the diagnostic fee. But more importantly, the technician started to fix the furnace using $500+ parts WITHOUT MY CONSENT. They NEVER told me how much it was going to cost to get it fixed! Being a woman first time homebuyer, I felt very preyed on for my lack of knowledge! I should have been giving options and choices before they started to fix and 'forced' me to pay for it. When with the new $500++ parts, the technician said the furnace can be out at any day. So shouldn't I have the rights and option to not put the new part in and look for alternatives? No words were mentioned about pricing or getting my consent on the work...now, I'm left with a LARGE BILL that I didn't agree on. Extremely disappointed on the service and definitely felt taken advantage of today!

    water heater

    Mike # replaced the heater i\within. the time he specified. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, polite and courteous. However, I am not satisfied with Reliance. The leaking water heater was installed in 1991. For 27 yrs, all we had was one service call. We feel that the heater should have been replaced years ago, or at the very least, yearly maintenance.

    Furnace install

    Matt and jp install reps were great Good follow up Punctual friendly Knowledgeable pleasant Walk through use and how tos Great work definitely use again Didn’t try to install other items Always good service with reliance

    Very professional

    Rick came to my house today and fixed a problem in my heating system, a problem that left 2 other guys before him clueless. Very polite and professional, pretty experienced too. 5 stars without a doubt
