    New Air Conditioner

    We had contacted Reliance after our air conditioner of 25 years broke down on the hottest day so far. Pamela was great help and professional in the consultation. She gave us many options for the models and never once did we feel pressured to agree to anything. She was great! On the day of the installation, Jason from Fusion came and assisted us. He was very professional and thorough with everything he did, making sure he went through it all with us. We are extremely satisfied with the service provided by Reliance, Pamela & Jason. We will definitely be recommending your service! Thank you!!

    Furnace

    The serivce was really good. We appreciated Andre Dyer who assisted us with our furnace. He helped us a lot and answered all of our questions we asked. It is a great service.

    Heating and AC install

    Bill, the sales rep was very helpful in helping us to chose a system for our home. Very pleasant and knowledgeable . He delivered on everything he said he would do. While he was here we spoke about a small issue we had with our hot water tank. The tank being 12+ years old was replaced the next day. Duct work is probably the ugliest piece to look at but Al,from A&E Sheet Metal was very good and made it look good. He and his co-worker work well together. He came up with good ideas on the install ,where the others had issues with placement of duct work. They cleaned up the area well. Once done, explained everything that was done. He arrived and finished when promised. Rob and Adam from Nauss installed the furnace and AC ,they were excellent. They worked thru lunch with no breaks. They started at 10a.m. and we had a system up and running by 4pm. They explained the whole system and walked us thru the operational side of it. Very courteous and pleasant. Cleaned up area well. Being a customer of Reliance for the past 18+ years and this being the first major work being done. We are very satisfied with the work and service provided. Thank you to Bill for coordinating a prompt and painless install

    home installation of new furnace and central air

    On Tuesday June 21,2016 we had Bill S and Dan N come to our home to install a new furnace and central air. I couldn't have asked for a more professional, friendly and informative team to install our products. I am so pleased with the service they gave us yesterday. Their I.D. #'s are Bill 1028 and Dan 2097. Thank you so much for such great service.

    AC rental

    Last Sept 21 (8 months ago) I called Reliance for a quote for a new air handler. The sales guy gave me a quote for a rental and also recommended that I replace my AC unit with something more efficient. The AC unit was only 5 yrs old. There had been nothing wrong with it. They replaced both the air handler and the AC. I did not have an opportunity to try out the AC before winter set in. This May I turned on the AC for the first time. It would not work. In the space of 4 weeks I have had six (6) service calls. No one seems to be familiar with this type of unit. After today's repair the AC worked for about 6 hours before it stopped. I am very frustrated. Yesterday it was 37C in my house. There seems to be a lot of passing the buck in this organization. This story isnt finished yet and I'll report back as the situation unfolds. I am very disappointed with the customer service response so far. Update - I am happy to report that after the initial review was posted I was contacted by Mandy from Reliance. When I returned her email with my account details Haley responded an hour later and had arranged for a service tech and a rep from the vendor arriveat 8am the next morning. They arrived as promised and work was completed at 10:30. It is now 2 days later and the system is operating. Thanks to all involved.

    Water Heater Repair

    No hot water. Called Customer Service at Reliance - from whom we rent the tank (and there isn't any option to fit these circumstances in the telephone menu - just "schedule a service call") and was rather taken aback that no service person was available until the next day. But I was assured I was a "priority" if a cancellation occurred. Indeed, one did, and Tim P showed up when advertised and he did call ahead. He quickly figured out that the thermal coupler had malfunctioned and set about replacing that. it took 30 minutes and Tim patiently and understandably answered my questions about hot water tanks, now all of sudden a 'hot' topic in my house. I was happy with the prompt response and quick and efficient service, but less so the insincere woman who scheduled the service (sounded like she was in South Asia).

    Furnace and air conditioner replacement

    Mike and Stephane got to our house at the time we were told they would arrive. They were friendly, they explained everything they were going to do, made me confident that they knew there stuff. They left the work areas as clean as when they arrived. I would definitely recommend these guys to any one. Thanks guys

    it is a completely wrong to have Reliance Home Comfort

    it is a completely wrong to have Reliance Home Comfort to install my Air conditioner. sales person sell me GOODMAN air conditioner (GoodMan with red color logo), installed a unknown brand name GMC (blue color logo), the sales contract is complete wrong, and all the items in the sales contract are not the name what they installed. contacted management, not be able to resolve the issue in right way.

    air conditioner repair

    June 20, 2016 - the hottest day of the summer thus far and our air conditioner was not working properly. My husband called Reliance and was able to book a service repair person immediately. The person from Reliance said that we should be expecting someone before 2pm. At 1:56pm I received a call and "Wally" said he would be at my house in 10 minutes. Wally knocked on the door at 2:15pm and I said that I was glad he was able to make it today as we originally had an appointment on July 6th. Wally took a look at our thermostat and then proceeded to check on the furnace. Then he said he needed a few items in his truck. After coming back from his truck, he said that he wouldn't be able to do the work unless it was COD because we were not covered as of yet. I told him that we had spoken with two customer service reps and they both said our plan was active for June 17th. He then went back to his truck to call again. Once again, he said that we were not covered. He mentioned that my husband and I dealt with "handlers" who create chaos and do not know what they are talking about whereas he deals with his "people" on a daily basis. I then called my husband on the phone and had him on speaker so that Wally could tell him what he told me. The first thing Wally says to my husband is that he recommends a salesperson to speak to us about a new furnace. So we agreed for a salesperson to come for the next day. At that time, he did not even look at our air conditioner. I asked him to take a look at our air unit and he said it was installed "crummy!" After Wally left my house, I called Reliance and spoke with Jen a representative who deals with booking services. She was very understanding as I told her the situation. She reassured me that we were covered for repairs under our plan and then forwarded me to Matt in the Complaints department. Matt was very understanding and credited our account $10 for the inconvenience and was able to send another service repair person who arrived at about 6:30pm. David (team member #RCB 91) asked about the problem and immediately checked our air conditioner. He did a few tests and was able to answer the questions I had. I liked the fact that he was honest and treated me like I was his sister or daughter. He was able to check to see if my furnace was safe for the time being and educated me on the different types of products available out there. He spoke to me in a way that I can understand air conditioners and furnaces. I would definitely recommend David and commend him for being friendly. Wally, on the other hand, I would not recommend because he made me feel like I was unintelligent and I didn't feel that he wanted to help me. He mentioned that he would have to remove half my furnace before even checking my air unit. Also, he said the salesperson would be at our place by 12pm the next day, which is today. It is now 3:50pm and we haven't heard from the sales rep, Clark. Reliance, overall is a good company but with people like Wally working there, does not give it the best name. Thank you to David, Jen, and Matt for providing great customer service.

    Furnace

    Bought a furnace, had nothing but issues, were left without a working thermostat for a month, no one helped us. Now we cannot get filters & again no will help!
